I see the network hashrate was somewhere around 470-480Mh/s a week ago and its over 550Mh/s now. I knew it would increase some with the recent surge in value, but increasing almost 25% in a few days seems a little suspect. Anybody know if it's just miners switching over for the profitability?
Hash rate last month was from like 420-490Mh/s now is like 500-550Mh/s, that is less then 20% increase. Yes last few days price of Monero went up for more in Bitcoins and in USD. So yes is normal that miners will switch. You can mine Monero with any CPU and GPU so Monero miners have lots of freedom what to use their hardware. Someone give me a F and P and G and A, FPGA!

I believe with Kovri that map will vanish. But again someone can correct me if I am wrong.
Most nodes will run in dual mode with both Kovri and a regular IP. People who want can go full stealth (network monitoring can only tell that you are using i2p, not that you are running Monero or anything else through it) will be able to run only Kovri, but there are tradeoffs and most people don't need that. Also, anyone wanting full stealth probably currently probably uses at least a VPN and/or Tor, etc. and won't be on that map now. So the map won't change much. Wouldn’t this create the “optional privacy” problem that Zcash and other coins have? If you have the option to turn on full stealth it would single out those who are, right? No, this is only a question of whether or not your ISP can tell you are running a Monero node. It doesn't affect anyone else or single out people who are hiding from their ISP. The default method will be for transaction submission to always go over I2P so that no transactions will be linkable to an IP address. I'm not familiar with the I2P "fork" issue, so I can't comment on that. I do not believe that a Monero-only I2P network/protocol would be suitable for the purpose described above, but again I don't know the details. Wouldn't constantly checking for monero updates also reveal that you're running a Monero node with the default notify only --check-updates flag, kovri or no kovri?

Do you know your result is not relevant to the reality? We have 56 on gtx 1080 ti with pill for ETH and 730 for Equihash. How are you getting 56 on 1080Ti? I only get 36 on my "regular" 1080's with the pill. They have the same memory... What are your power limits and clocks? A 1080 should at most be 30% slower than a Ti. Doesn't the public pill only work on the 1080ti?

In the recent IPO report of Bitmain, it seems Bitmain does not have mined any Monero.
How would we know if that was true? Hang on... I suppose we could look it up in the Monero rich list... Or you can lookup their monero addresses they've left on their CN ASICs against public pools. But I bet they've mined and dumped as they were mining during bull market.

Still 20% slower than Enemy?
My private is around 20% faster than (enemy 1.14)/(t-rex 5.7) in x16r/x16s/x17 27 MHASH x17 1080ti, (2BTC) spmod-git opensource around is 15% faster than enemy 1.08 I will release more juice to the opensource miner later. Who want's to pay 1% to the GPL violators when they can mine faster for free with the sp-mod? Are you implying that you're NOT a GPL violator? What kind of pills have you been taking today? I want some of those.

I n my own opinion, monero is a good coin and I think it will make positive moves if it can be paid more attention to and it get more demand because that is what can help it grow and be among the top coin in crypto.
Not enough trolls here to go up, need more FUD and bashing.
