161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ethereum safe? on: January 17, 2023, 02:20:18 PM
It is proven and tested in these recent years, yeah it is good to invest where in the ETH is not badly beaten like the other coins when the market collapsed last year.
The risk is there, so don't ignore the risk even if you believe ETH is one of the best altcoin that deserves to be in your investment portfolio. Anyway, I haven't ignored ETH so far either and it is one of the altcoin that has caught my attention the most to some extent. But you may need to know, ETH is still no better than bitcoin - but ETH is also profitable.

One of the most important things is, keep investing in an amount that you can afford to lose. But in the long term, bitcoin is much more useful because of its real use cases.
Whatever the coin actually there will always be a risk even Bitcoin which is the king of crypto there is still a risk,
for long term investment I think Ethereum is a good choice and it will be profitable,
And most importantly, do your research first.
162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 16, 2023, 10:41:09 AM
Whatever trading any one wants to engage himself with should be very careful on the amount they wants to trade with because I believe too well that trading is likely to be gambling, any amount they have lose while trading can't never be recovered so I am on the Opinion that only 20 percent of their capital should be used to trade and 80 percent should be reserved to buy and hold some good amount of bitcoin or any another reputable coin out there.
That's one of concept i can't agree with people kind of comparison with trading and gamblling. Their is a huge difference between gambling and trading. Gamblling have to do with prediction or assumptions because it's doesn't a particular skill you can learn that will make you to wining or to losing, so it's totally obvious that gambling have to do with risk measure, while trading you most undersgoes a proper training and also master the risk difference before you can make huge profit. So trading have a skill we have to learn and understand the steps before making profit as i portray before now .
Yes, I agree with you that between trading and gambling is clearly different,
in trading we need to have good preparation in knowledge, skills, and others,
whereas in gambling we can make predictions without clear benchmarks.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] Will BNB crash? Will Binance go bankrupt? on: January 15, 2023, 05:59:45 PM
Currently I don't think Binance would passed through these process as FTX does, the exchange is known to be a global leading exchange and for that is a strong and solid trading platform.
I can't even imagine seeing bnb going that low to an extent of being just $100, but have you also forgotten that they have their own blockchain where lots of funds are being generated via transaction fees and many more?
I really understand that CZ is indeed rumored to be the mastermind behind the collapse of FTX, and of course it will make Binance also be affected,
but I think CZ has gone beyond this news and until now CZ is really working fully and brushing aside the nonsense from the news,
I myself am not worried about BNB going bankrupt, because that's impossible if you look at the current performance of CZ now.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: January 15, 2023, 04:12:21 PM
There are successful people out of investment on memecoins. A market shouldn't be of a same product, it needs to provide variety to its users. One such variety in cryptocurrency is the memecoins. These are for short term, if lucky you'll be profiting and if not you just need to ignore. Dogecoin to be used by Elon Musk might happen, but this isn't gonna make big push in the market.
No one denies that a lot of money can be made with meme coins, but what is the ratio of winners and losers? Or to put it in another way how many losers we have for each winner that claims to have made a fortune investing in meme coins? And the numbers are surely horrible, as people invest in those coins thinking about making some quick cash only to find out that instead of achieving their dreams of making a lot of money they instead lost it.
So far, Elon Musk hasn't tweeted about Doge yet and maybe the reason he is is that right now the market is bearish and Fomo will be more difficult,
Elon Musk is indeed very influential for Doge and it is very likely for Doge to become a Twitter micropayment, but that is still a problem.
and still Becomes a wish of the Dogecoin community, if realized then Doge really would be more than $1.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: January 15, 2023, 03:09:42 PM
(....)
You can table out your opinion.
I am still not convinced about what happened recently. For me, it's not a healthy or natural pump, because of the high percentage pumps during a short period of time.
But it's good thing that we are already sitting above $20,000 which this level is significant level since last bull run around 2017-2018.
If we will hold this level until next year, I believe it's already the support until next cycle.

true, the recent increase is very unnatural, there are many suggestions for community members to continue to be careful if you want to enter the market at this time, it could be that this increase is just a camouflage for bitcoin which always went down before,
Yes, the possibility will always exist, but the most important thing is that we continue to monitor market developments,
for sure we all hope this is not a trap but in crypto anything can happen,
for now the increase that is happening in the market is good news and let's see what it will be like in the future.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 15, 2023, 02:42:03 PM
of course a side job / business can provide financial stability, but behind that all must be balanced in the division of time so that both of them can run together here our partners are required to help the business that we develop so that the main work is not neglected
At first it was definitely not easy to divide the time in the main job and side job,
but with time I think we'll find the right formula to do both so nothing gets overlooked,
everything needs a process so here we need to have patience.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My advice If you are here to make money on: January 14, 2023, 10:24:53 PM
It is certainly true that the primary goal of trading crypto coins is to make money. There is nothing wrong with this, as long as traders are aware of the risks involved and take steps to manage those risks effectively. Using safe money, or money that can be afforded to lose, is a good way to minimize potential losses. Trading in the spot market, rather than the futures market, can also help to reduce the risk of losing everything, as traders in the spot market have the ability to sell their assets at any time. However, it is important for traders to be aware that even in the spot market, there is always the potential for significant losses, and it is essential to approach trading with caution and to educate oneself about the various risks involved.
Spot and futures trading is just as risky. although futures trading of course has a higher risk. unfortunately, now a lot of newbies are coming to markets like Binance to trade futures, which of course beginners won't have.
their goal remains the same to make money. but without knowledge and skills, it's like gambling and wasting their money. they come only to lose.
That's them beginners in making decisions don't try to think and do research first,
they just want to make a quick profit and that mindset is wrong,
better learn first to improve knowledge and skills is much more important.
168  Economy / Economics / Re: What was your lowest point financially? How did you go through it ? on: January 13, 2023, 03:42:03 PM
Being single is easy in times of financial difficulties but if you have a family with a kid, bills, and a mortgage to pay it's the lowest point where you are almost going to beg for a job with a higher rate. Family men are the most vulnerable, they might commit crimes so they could put food on thier table.

Yes, it can be said that married people who have experienced unemployment can say that they can do anything including steal as long as there is enough food on the table for their children. I am a married person, it can be said that not having enough to feed my children is a thousand times worse than when I had nothing to eat when I was single. I never want to think about those scenes again, they really scare me every time I think about it.
we must be ready for everything to happen and we must always have extra funds for expenses and we must always have investments for future because like what you said? your family is your priority and it is fine that we cannot eat but not our children and wife.
stand with your two feet and provide for their future.

I don't know if married people think like me. But honestly, for those who have a family, in addition to having a stable job and a good income, if there is no investment for the future, it will certainly be difficult in the future. Currently, my income is stable, it can be said that it is enough to take care of my 2 children but I still have to invest because like you said, have to be prepared for things to happen and as my kids get older, things will get more and more expensive. Our economy will be tough to stabilize without investment.
When you are already married, let alone having young children, I feel that having a stable income is not enough,
I agree with you that it is still important to invest for the future,
those who are married certainly want the best for their children.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 12, 2023, 03:38:15 PM
Hi, I'm new to here. So just want to ask your help or guide.

I have currently 800$ worth BNB. These are got from NFT that I sold back months ago that I got from airdrop. So what i need to know should I convert it to stable coin or should I invest it for bitcoin? Because my friends say that BNB don't have a future anymore. So I'm fully worry about this.

As of now, BNB is still considered as one of the best altcoins on the market, next to ETH, so I do not think there will be a problem if you continue to hold it. You should choose BNB if you are looking for high returns and are prepared to accept risks, and if you are looking for safety but little profit, you should choose bitcoin. As for me, with $800 in my pocket, I am going to keep holding BNB, since I have found it to be more profitable than bitcoin. All just suggestions, make your own decision.
However we do have to make our own decisions and regarding your suggestion I agree,
keep holding on to it I don't think it will be a problem considering BNB is one of the coins that can't be doubted,
investing long term in BNB looks like it will be profitable.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: January 11, 2023, 03:17:13 PM
Having this obsession with high and very big amounts of returns will not make you rich, it will make you poor for sure. The idea of making huge profits will make you invest into high risk stuff and make you lose. Go with bitcoin and ethereum and bnb and avax, sol, dot, matic, and similar other stuff.

These are top coins that are good, and won't make 1000x with any of them, yet you could make a good return with them. I can't say if it would be a lot or a little but at least it won't go to zero (probably) and that is the important thing. Many people fail to see that and unfortunately that causes a lot of trouble for everyone, I would advise not to do that at all.
Well it simply mean that you are in favor of a safe play. To some extent I agree that investing in the top order cryptocurrencies os much safer but at the same time we can't say that these top order assure investors for never being into trouble. You will have to go through a difficult time whenever the market is bearish. On a lighter note, it is my personal experience. 😉

Basically if we invest in top coins it doesn't mean we will be free from risk but at least it minimizes problems,
investing will always be related to problems and that is part of the risk,
so it is very important to have skills in risk management.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Dev is not your friend, so be careful. on: January 10, 2023, 10:38:02 PM
Right now, i feel old or new both of can be SCAM anytime because when i remembered Luna and FTT these was billions dollar market cap, but now disappeared. Yeah, if comparing old and new project definitely new project is pretty high risk than old project. But i never invest my money by others people’s recommendation, i will own research before invest in new or old project.
At least what you have done is the right thing because after all we still need to do our own research before joining the project and not relying on other people's advice,
scam can happen to any project so we need to be really careful,
other than that every decision is in the hands of each of us.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: WEF On Cryptocurrencies: Crypto is here to stay on: January 09, 2023, 12:22:57 PM

cryptocurrency doesnt pretend to be a transformer, a car, a tin of vegetables or your next girlfriend.
its a currency.. yes currency wont wash the dishes for you or fill your belly
yes its a currency(money) game, not a dating or eating or playing game

but you have to ask what can bitcoin do that other currencies cant/wont
paypal is controlled by a business. they set the user agreement and policy over who, how, when, where and how much can be spent and the fees..

crypto has more freedoms
its programmable money without a bank manager or ceo

crypto currencies consensus rules are completely different model than paypal user agreements

if you think "ill just use paypal" then why does venmo exist and has more utility
if you think "ill just use dollar" then why does yuan, pound, euro exist

each currency has its own utility, some better then others, some worse

if you cant notices the differences, research it more

You said it so true dude, apart from crypto being a type of currency, it also becomes an opportunity for others to have a source of money more than an employee with no boss and no one to hold your time but it's really just us.

And the beauty of cryptocurrency over other fiat is that there are many options for it to help us in the future. You just need to work and struggle.

But it must also be realized that investing or trading in crypto is not an easy thing,
there are many things that must be prepared before actually jumping into crypto,
as long as you can make good use of crypto then the profits will come.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the future of digital currencies? on: January 08, 2023, 07:19:53 PM
We are still early to say things that will happen ahead of us because honestly, we are still in the early stage and there are more updates and developments to come in the future. Also, don't forget the vast lists of countries and big companies that will gonna adopt and implement cryptocurrency in their business and economy. Therefore, if you are hesitant to invest in any of those coins, it's better to wait until things will be cleared and only legit coins will remain because as we come to the future, they will keep updating their regulations until no scammers will remain in this industry.
We are getting benefits from crypto currency and I think we have passed many years to analysis about it. It is true that many countries and companies are accepting Bitcoin and other crypto currency. If we wait some more years, will it be possible for us to buy crypto at low price? I think it is time to analyze more and buy potential crypto.
when talking about crypto currency prices, of course the future is still very bright,
especially now that crypto currency prices can be said to be very cheap and it is still very easy to experience up trends again,
many countries have also made rules regarding crypto currency, so I Market sense will be healthier and blockchain technology will also develop in the future,
so don't worry and keep investing.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 08, 2023, 06:26:16 PM
This meme coin (BONK) is trending right now. People are getting hyped by the news that developers burned 5 Trillion Bonk. We really expect that the price will rise up a little but gradually the price will go down. I hope we will gather more information about the project before we invested it.
burning 5 Trillion BONK and the total supply according to coinmarketcap is very large, 99 trillion BONK, and you hope that just burning 5 trillion will make BONK go up high?
I think you really have a dream and maybe BONK is nothing more than a shitcoin!. keep in mind! do not believe in memecoin other than DOGE and SHIBA,
because memecoin is very dangerous for future investment, unless you just want to trade it
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bearish market the right time to buy coins? on: January 08, 2023, 02:13:27 PM
Altcoins can be very risky compared to bitcoin. But I am not saying investing in altcoins is bad. After all, profit is what we are attracted to aside from the technology the cryptoverse brings. Just be sure to invest the amount you are willing to lose. The higher the risk, the higher the rewards. So pick carefully the altcoins you would like to invest in. And be prepared to track them always as everything will happen to them anymore, either it will shoot up or it will drop down to zero. Always DYOR.
and why we have to compared bitcoin to altcoins, btc is the number one position all of the time,
i will never prefer altcoins before bitcoin if compared safe investment in cryptocurrency at the moment,
btw i made good profits by holding or trading altcoins than bitcoin. yep, we shouldn’t invest in any coin which isn’t affordable.

Actually we can earn from Bitcoin and altcoins so it all depends on ourselves,
that is the reality and does not mean that altcoins are full of risks because if we are smart in choosing which coins we trade it will be profitable,
Always do your research first it's important
176  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: January 08, 2023, 01:51:19 PM
Recently I have been trying to come up with ways of making some money on the side and thinking of giving trading a go.

I have zero experience and have just been looking on Coinbase at the best and worst performers of the day.

I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating.

Anyone done something similar or will it just lead me to losing my money?
There are many strategies for trading. The trading platform is risky if you do not know this strategy of trading. You said you are a newbie so you better not think about live trading. Trading platform is not so easy that you can earn money from here very easily. People are losing a lot of money from here for a small mistake. So there are many strategies to learn about trading for those who are new I think using all these strategies then they should come to the trading platform.
It's better to learn first and don't need to rush, especially since this is a trade where the risks are big.
study all the strategies and determine which one suits you,
what is clear is that there is still a lot of preparation to be done and it certainly takes a lot of time too
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba INU tokens continue to rise? on: January 07, 2023, 07:05:51 PM
don't worry about SHIBA Inu, because one of the memecoins that is certain to always follow the bullish trend is SHIBA,
yes Shiba is still supported by Elon Musk and this is a good thing, because if Elon Musk returns to tweeting about Doge then Shiba will too follow the bullish trend,
so don't worry and keep holding on SHIBA, the development of this project also doesn't need to be doubted,
even though Shiba is in the memecoin category, Shiba has very strong fundamentals like Doge coin.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will support Elon Musk if he creates a stablecoin for Twitter on: January 07, 2023, 05:47:08 PM
I support more if Elon Musk makes Twitter crypto currency because it is much better for investment than stable coins,
because stable coins are enough USDT and BUSD which have a high market cap and have very good credibility too,
I'm sure many people want what I also want, namely Tweet Coin maybe or Twitter coin? if this happens then other social media coins will also get more Hype.
179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Those who survived previous winter, please share some courage! on: January 07, 2023, 02:52:30 PM
Those who've seen previous bear markets, survived several winters, please share some hope and courage.
This is not the end, right? Smiley
Do not worry this is not the end, now there are many exceptional holders out there which despite the crypto winter they never had any problem holding their coins, but if you ask me they are an exception more than anything.

For the rest of the investors their first crypto winter is always the hardest, so I do not judge them when they show signs of being worried or they start to doubt themselves as it is to be expected, just remember that bitcoin is simply too good as a technology and that despite its weak price bitcoin is still as good as it was before the crash so it is bound to recover at some point in time.
If you have traced back history, you will know that crypto winter is also an advantage to keep us in accumulation phase and increase bitcoin in our portfolio. So we should not fear it, but embrace it and understand that a bearish market is needed before a bullish market takes over. Just stay patient and keep hodling, this is not the end, but definitely the beginning of our crypto career.
It's true that we need to remain calm and in the end a bull market will come even though we never know for sure when it will happen,
this is a challenge for us how to deal with and take advantage of a bearish market,
The most important thing is just keep following the progress
180  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 06, 2023, 11:59:21 AM
I don’t reckon with what you just said, let’s be truthful 2020 was was than 2021, 2020 saw the peak of the covid 19 virus and saw the shut down of countries personally it was my first time of ever witnessing, a total and complete shutdown of countries.

The fact remains that 2020 was worse that the recents year we have had after it and even before it. Also in crypto-Currency we saw an all Time high in bitcoin and so many other coins.

But the fact is, in 2022 many people lost their jobs and prices of everything is going up while there is no increase in salary or in worsen they don't have any job to afford anything. In 2020 government provided money whereas in 2022 they act like nothing is happening and focusing on development while millions of people are living their daily life in extreme hard situation.
Actually I don't think we can compare them because every year is different and there are always challenges.
but speaking of 2022 it is not a good year because many problems continue to occur, especially the war between Russia and Ukraine which makes the price of basic commodities and others increase
