Should be able to get 28 at least. 22 is usually the default without any mods.

and what about Warranty if you need....too much risk if you are not located in China.

CryptoWatcher420 : I beg to differ but hey its a free Internet world. Everybody is free to set it up the way they want.
With proper setup/tweaks the Windows would not need much more... especially if you use it only for dedicated mining. I would even say a 64GB disk is sufficient with some windows modifications. My strategy is 4GB DDR4 Ram and M2 SSDs with 20-22 GB swap on the Windows. This works fast and fine for me for many months. Many things in the IT can be done multiple ways.

Vote for the D) - Samsung too. I've had bad experience with Lite-On. The others seems a bit expensive for what they offer.
Fresh new Win 10 Pro installed the other day is around 16-17 GB + 22 GB for swap (I put only 4 GB Ram in the rig) gives total roughly 40 GB.

cpcue : It is not too late to mine Zencash. Of course you can if you want.
0.075 Zen per day average for 1 x 1070 today.

r8st: You are correct. I've missed this about making "new wallet". You cant possible expect people to rummage through 200+ pages. It may really be a good idea to start a new fresh thread or put it on the main page (if we can edit of course). Any new details and news should be easily accessible.
Dot not get me wrong for the current wallet. It is ancient history, pre-2015 modules, the Level DB is from 2011, utilizing IRC chat, a lot of sync issues due to missing nodes even though there are hundreds of 'leechers' having Master Nodes on the same IP address (which is not beneficial at all), etc.
Let stop here and see what we can do to revive. I do like 8bit to be honest and I would love to see it better.

I am surprised people still believe these scams but hey..its your money.

jaschaknack PolarisBiosEditor v1.6.4 would do for editing. Google.
Save current BIOS to file. When you open the bios with Polaris Editor, look top right drop down and see which digit is for Elpida memory. There would be 1 and 2. I think its "1" for Elpida, but check it out. Try with 1:1500 values and put the value into the higher fields for 1:1750 and up to 1:2000. Change Core voltage if you want based on core Mhz categories. Don't go super low. Save. Upload to Card. Patch driver if needed, reboot.

Do we have to bother to debug the exe or you can share the code? Don`t want to be negative but anytime somebody posts such dev fee removers, they use it to actually inject some sneaky code of theirs to profit from people stupidity.

Bimmber: Another suggestion that comes to my mind since you want to get 15 cars. get half AMDs, half Nvidia You would have to decide how many per rig, calculate Power supply specs/power needed etc. and go for it.
|
|

AMDs good for eth and cryptonight algos Nvidia good for equihash , cryptonight (bit lower than AMDs but still ok) and may be lyra/neoscrypt but has specific tweaking for those 2 algos. Nvidia I think could be configured easier to consume less Watts, if you care. Usually Nvidia's needs some tweaking to find the sweet spot. May be a bit more versatile in terms of algorithms. AMD is easier. Mod bios , start and forget but based on my experience consumes a bit more power. Get whichever is cheapest GPU Either AMD or Nvidia would work out. Invest in good PSU i my advice.

dvoretsa: Bitcoin and all the other coins fuss.
Lets not forget almost all of the alt coins are matched to BTC. That applies to Zencash too. At least some % of the Miners exchange to BTC almost immediately on daily basis and see Zen as source of daily income in BTC/USD/EUR. Part of the reason zen and other equi coins are popular is also because they are visible on sites like whattomine to the miners and on bigger exchanges. Simple look at the daily market trade for zen - Bittrex zen/btc 2.38 million USD. I would bet this activity is mainly by miners.

most important I think is to have a decent wallet...which is missing. the current clone of bitcore is crappy with lots of bugs. From technical perspective, this coin is almost dead and on auto-pilot.

Yes, it will. but how much each GPU uses from the PCI-E cable vs the slot is up to the manufacturer specs.
If it was me, I would always leave 75W for the raiser, although the Sata connectors' limits are usually around the 55W

QuintLeo: Your stats are similar to mine. So this seems to be the sweet spot for me. I keep the memory up because i auto-switch between eth and equi quite often and I don`t want to bother with changing the mem vs core every time. .... and yes...lowering below 65% drops the hashrate a lot.
|
|
|
crypto is also very efficient from electricity perspective and gpu temperatures but not always the highest paying. ethash, equihash - usually no issues with the NH too. steady, not low, not high recently.
the rest are a bit hit and miss... even though neoscrypt and lyra are sometimes more profitable, I've always had trouble tweaking my GPUs for those.

more or less....and a decent USB hub.

Evga 1070 SC 65% Power, +100 core, +500 memory (Micron)
417 sol/sec / roughly 98 watts. (150W TDP is the default on 100%). 51C at 40% FAN, 26- 27C room temperature
That works well for me from power vs hash vs temp perspective. More Core usually reboots the PC after a while, more memory brings the magic artifacts on the screen.
The "Black Edition" is a bit crappier (thus the 20$ difference) than the regular SC, but should do something similar.
p.s. From all my 1070 (I have Asus, Evga, Gigabyte and the Nvidia FE), the Evga 1070 SC is my favorite.
p.s.2. The "return on investment" IS actually less than a year at current rates on the 1070 but it can always change next year.

Not for home use for sure. Loud, especially if they go to high RPMs. If you look at the PSU FAN, notice how small it is. The only way to move enough air is by high speed, thus generating more noise.

You got it Multiply the BTC earned by the daily exchange rate and you should get similar daily USD or EUR price. +some variation depending on the demand/supply pricing and some other factors.
