people like Craig Wright shouldn't need to be responded to, he's just a liar who shouldn't need to be published, stop making news about him, there are still many things that are more useful than making news about Craig Wright.
yeah, that's right!!!

It would be great to see such machines but I doubt any company will start manufacturing them anytime soon because of the small number of customers using bitcoin. Besides, the lightning network is still under development (testing stages) and using it requires some technical knowledge.
yes, its pretty good idea. but you are right, unfortinatelly, that companies will start manufacturing them.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who holds the most bitcoins?

I've always been interested in this question, but I found a lot of confusing information. I recently came across this article in Quora, and I wonder how accurate and verified this information is: https://www.quora.com/Who-holds-the-most-bitcoinsAccording to this article, it seems that Satoshi holds the most bitcoins, between 600,000 and 1,600,000 BTC. The following are the Winklevoss brothers, with 91,666 bitcoin. Next is Barry Silbert with 48,000 BTC. Next in order are Tim Draper with $250,000 worth of BTC and Michael Novogratz with his crypto net worth to be around $700 million – $1 billion. Do you agree with this assessment from the article or do you have more credible and accurate information? wow huge numbers!!!

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold? Which one you would choose to invest for long term? Why ?
|
on: December 19, 2019, 10:27:10 PM
|
We all have different prospective regarding the investment , be it long term or short term.
Bitcoin has been the most amazing invention and has given massive return of investment for those who joined from 2013. From low point in 2013 to 20k in 2017, it has gone from one end to another end. Right now today its trading at $10461 per bitcoin. The prediction is with just 21 million maximum supply it will reach 1 million bucks per coin one day.
Gold has been one of the most popular investment for centuries. Every country or government be it in the past or present always prefer gold reserve over their own currency even to prepare themselves for financial meltdown. Right now GOLD is being traded at $1425/oz.
So my question is which one you would chose for your investment ? Which one you would chose to outperform the other ? GOLD or BITCOIN? Please tell us with a reason why ?
Thanks everyone for taking part in this discussion.
in my humble opinion, using bitcoin is more profitable and the main reason for this is the exhaustible reserves of gold.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Strong Today And Will Continue To Grow
|
on: December 19, 2019, 10:21:47 PM
|
No one knows for sure (with any degree of certainty) what the future holds for bitcoin. Having said that, most will agree that the future is bright.
Here are 10 reasons why Bitcoin is strong today and will continue to grow:
1. Bitcoin introduced blockchain technology for the rest of the world to utilize. 2. Bitcoin itself is a protocol that will continually evolve. 3. Acceptance (Bitcoin is only 10 years old!) 4. Much of the developed world where payment systems that enable instantaneous person-to-person payment are not available, would love to adopt Bitcoin. 5. Volatility will minimize as the public at large becomes less sensitive to everything the media spews out and as more users adopt it. 6. As larger corporations start offering Bitcoin as a payment alternative, smaller companies waiting in the shadows will jump on the bandwagon. 7. The market capitalization of Bitcoin indicates that the currency is now too big to collapse (and is backed by the trust of its users). 8. The buying process of Bitcoin will be made much simpler than it is at present by exchanges, corporations, and developers. 9. Bitcoin will be featured regularly in the remittance world and by travelers and travel agencies alike. 10. Bitcoin is universal and globally recognized as a store of value.
Agree? Disagree? What your thoughts on the growth of bitcoin now and in the future?
oh, good thoughts. i mean, its all very simple to understand. thank u. i hope that bitcoin just go to the moon.

Economy / Economics / Re: How to prevent fraud?
|
on: December 13, 2019, 07:05:52 PM
|
Billions of dollars are lost every year to occupational fraud or White collar crime. Businesses have been forced into bankruptcy because of fraud. In this day of blurred lines between right and wrong along with an end justify the means mentality, fraud is on the rise. Is your business at risk? Probably so, if you have any employees’, receive deliveries, or have accountants, managers or bookkeepers handle any of your business. To prevent fraud from happening in your company you need to understand the dynamics of this crime. There are 2 main sources of fraud. The first is internal meaning an inside job usually an employee of the company. The second form is external and this is likely to be perpetrated by an outside vendor or supplier. Most fraud, unfortunately, is an inside job. The United States Chamber of Commerce estimates that employee theft costs businesses somewhere between $20 and $40 billion per year. As indicated previously not all fraud is committed by employees. Vendors and suppliers can easily scam a business if the right checks and balances aren’t in place and that increases the amount of revenue lost to fraud by a substantial amount. Who is more likely to commit fraud? Most fraud is committed by those in the position of authority who have control of information. They are less likely to be questioned. Managers and professionals have the capacity to commit fraud and conceal information relating to it. That, however, does not mean that fraud is not committed by other employees. Spotting possible fraud ; The obvious indication is missing funds, but there are other things to look for. Identification of red flags of fraud is the first step in recognizing and stopping fraud. Be aware of the signs an employee might be committing fraud. These signs may indicate that an employee is perpetrating fraud; An employee constantly at work, coming in early and leaving late may indicate that something is going on. Be aware that some frauds require constant manipulation of information to remain hidden. If the perpetrator was not at work, the fraud may be exposed Watch for an autocratic management style that ignores employee complaints or suggestions and discourages criticism of their own actions and their actions are often unaudited. Key employees having too much control without audit checks The red flags alone may not be the reason for an employer to take action against an employee. They are, however, cause for scrutiny and further investigation. Daily there is a very good chance you will read an article in local newspapers about one or more employees caught stealing or unlawfully taking something from their place of employment be it; theft, pilfering, larceny and or outright embezzlement. Every year billions of dollars are lost by businesses nationwide to employee fraud and theft and the number of incidents is rising with small businesses, which usually focus on product development, marketing and sales, are particularly vulnerable. Businesses can not run properly without its human resources, however, some employees of the company can defraud and with the result of the business suffering losses or even going bankrupt from occupational frauds. Owners and senior management of small-medium and big businesses have to pay attention to a lot of activities and make a number of decisions each day which may not allow enough time to diligently concentrate on each functional areas, therefore, business requirements to build a solid internal control system to prevent fraud or error. This system should set out policies and procedures for processing, recording and reporting financial data and securing a company’s assets. Typically, frauds occur in the following areas; Accounts receivable — This entails an employee or accomplice diverting customer payments for his own use. This usually involves opening a bank account with a name similar to the company’s name and deposits checks meant for the company in it. Inventory fraud. This involves an employee appropriating business inventory for personal use stealing inventory for resale. This is more common with consumer goods that are small and easy to conceal. In addition to stealing for personal use. Purchasing fraud. High stork businesses are particularly vulnerable to fraud and it is an area that represents the large risk for embezzlement. This usually involves paying invoices to fictitious companies. The employee establishes a fake entity and has it enter into the company’s system as a vendor and then produces invoices from the fake vendor, which get processed. Cash fraud. Company’s cash is an inviting target for fraudulent activities. Employees usually use company checks to withdraw cash directly or pay personal expenses or may skim cash off the top before it enters the accounting system. This right there, apart from having bad reputation here and there, it's kinda hard to believe it has quite a big amount of daily volume. And a lot of visitors, might be a manupulation on their part, who knows. That airdrop also kinda fishy to be honest. I don't even have any expectation if their own cryptoccurency will have value when it officially tradable. Giving away free coin with a high estimated price, who wouldn't fall for that and join them? I can't wait to see where this is going, will they once again get a bad reputation because of their own cryptocurrency and airdrop, or will they prove us wrong. I was a little confused. I joined this exchange for a long time, but I never doubted it. Why is it so difficult for some users. I believe that this idea can exist and can have a great future.

Economy / Speculation / Re: How much can bitcoin cost in Future.
|
on: November 23, 2019, 07:45:17 PM

Well, I think bitcoin can grow or even passed its current all time high. But the main key here is the mass adoption. As we see, Bitcoin declined because of the fact that many countries are against the adoption of this technological breakthrough especially the largest cryptocurrency adopter, China. Bitcoin began to drop. If China and other countries began adopting bitcoin, for sure it will rise even more. I expect it to reach roughly $200,000. I'm no expert. This is just my prediction.
For sure. About China - it's a really great thought. Especially if we think how many customers will come into this sphere.

|
on: April 23, 2019, 08:48:44 PM
|
