2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⭐ [PRE-ICO, AirDrop]🔥 VOGOV 🔥 Porn + Crypto on: January 28, 2019, 11:40:01 PM
Another porn type of project? Seems to me people are lacking ideas. How are you guys coming up with these kinds of thing?

I am not against porn okay? Just that we all know most of the countries are almost banning it or is against it.

It looks like the timing has been bad for Vogov - most ICOs have stopped to collect any money in this bear market and after too many scams in the sector. Possibly the project will resume when the market would revert the trend. Something has been mentioned in this sense.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⭐ [PRE-ICO, AirDrop]🔥 VOGOV 🔥 Porn + Crypto on: January 09, 2019, 01:25:33 AM
Seems to me that Vogov project is totally frozen, nothing moving, am I right?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-SALE] - Model-X - MODX - adult cryptopowered video-streaming platform on: December 12, 2018, 08:14:47 AM
Model-X platform (alpha version) will be launched in early autumn (not the end of the autumn as it was planned). Free video translations will be available there for any user. Cryptocurrency modules for payment and exchange will be integrated into alpha platform. Main goal of alpha version platform launch are modules testing, new functions debugging and system algorythms optimization.

Did anything of this happen? I went through various pages of the thread but I have failed to understand what's going on with this project - if anything at all.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair [Token Sale Complete] on: December 03, 2018, 09:39:22 AM
Market sentiments are not good at the moment this ecosystem is totally dependent on the movement of BTC if we will see some good sign in coming days than it will bring positive on this project too. I think holding is good choice one day this will start rising again.

BTC is just sitting on the precipice of falling to 3K$, in which case we would still have to experience a lower bottom for all alts and tokens, including Bob's Repair.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair [Token Sale Complete] on: November 20, 2018, 05:59:02 PM
Q4 2018 will be full of announcements and progress. We are excited about the future.

Which is the best way to stay tuned with Bob's repair announcements? On which media is the team more present?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⭐ [PRE-ICO, AirDrop]🔥 VOGOV 🔥 Porn + Crypto on: November 06, 2018, 03:50:19 PM
I've received the signature campaign tokens, but since the ICO is ongoing and the project rocks I'll keep the signature for another while, just for the pleasure to support this project.

dear manager from one side it is a very smart decision to make such ann "The public token sale is on pause until we reach the critical mass of porn fans in the audience" however would you like to know us  when are you going to continue  publik token sale? how long will pause be? thank you in advance.

And what will happen to the signature campaign? Will that go on hold too or will it continue?

The signature campaign with the bounty campaign ends tomorrow, on October 10.

So I suppose campaigners are now allowed to remove the signature? I'd like to hear an official statement on this.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair [Token Sale Complete] on: October 23, 2018, 05:50:25 PM
I hope there is the latest update from BOB to add the existing exchange top, because I think that when viewed from the exchange at the moment I see HOTBIT trading volume is fake.

I honestly don't pay much attention to hotbit exchange, while we need to get listed in more exchanges especially those which every community member can actually vote, I must commend the entire Bobsrepair for their resilience so far in the Project.

We have a major announcement coming. We signed the agreement and are waiting for the go ahead. Also, couple exchanges will be listing us soon so please stay tuned for this as well. We are making sure every thing we do isn’t rushed. We are here for the long term and are generating real revenues. We will be adding couple hundred contractors and our new office is going to open in Chennai, India on October 25th. We will be training 5 new staff members and our manager before having them help us with couple hundred new contractors. With this said we do not want to grow too fast and want to make sure every move is calculated.

The markets are low which is a great opportunity for bob’s repair to differentiate from other projects. We have overcame many negative statistics.

The purpose of our new office in Chennai, India to help Bob’s Repair with customer service via text, email and phone calls. We personally believe the future is via text message in the form or regular texts and iMessage. Look how Apples new chat feature is done via iMessage. We will have an application IOS and Android for contractors and consumers but we believe consumers might only use our app 1-3 times a year for home repair.

We are way ahead of our December Q4 goals and are excited about the near future.

Finally some statement about the actual developement of the project. Would like to have more of this though. Too much chit-chat talk about token price usually and not enough on what's behind the token.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POW tokens : Frequently asked questions on: October 07, 2018, 09:09:20 PM
Exactly one year has passed since the lauch of powtoken and the team has still not been able to transform their numbers in a database into ERC tokens. Goive up all your hopes, you fools.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Silver is loosing ground due to rise of cryptocurrencies on: October 07, 2018, 09:05:28 PM
In many developing countries where gold and silver are so important almost every function in the house is related with it , the dieties the important utensils , earrings and other ornaments , these precious stones are always over the top.
Now the recent survey shows that silver is loosing ground due to cryptocurrencies, and these precious stones are now getting cost stabilized.
What you think is it a good or a bad news ?
Well personally I think it's a pretty good news more and more people will be able to afford it and also I think these precious metals are over valued so it's doing good that it's somehow getting their value down and establishing it's own place.

Where has this survey been done and by whom? If true it is quite shocking to learn that cryptos are already affecting the price of silver.

I have clicked on your giant link "join airdrop" displayed on the OP and it taked me to your token sale - no trace of airdrops there. Are you kidding me?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair [Token Sale Complete] on: October 07, 2018, 08:59:50 PM
The price of Bob's repair coin decreasing, now it's only $0.039918 USD (-0.10%) 0.00000608 BTC (-1.44%).I Hope I can again buy more bobs coin. I sold my bobs coin when it was around $0.04 or more. We need more exchange site and it would be great for us also. Binance or bittrex would be fine surely.

It looks like every ICO prokect has seen their token drammatically declining. But how is the developement of Bob's repair Platform proceeding? That is the true question?

I see SKM has PoA - but what does PoA actually mean? Proof of what?
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now consuming 1% of the world's electricity. Is that sustainable? on: October 07, 2018, 08:44:11 PM
One year ago Bitcoin's network was consuming as much energy as Ireland. Now it has apparently doubled and now it is consuming 1% of the world's total electricity consumption.

https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption

This, in a time when the world is trying to reduce carbon footprints to avoid or slow down global warming.
Is Bitcoin sustainable as it is?
I don't think so - in fact I'm sure it is not. There is a limit to insanity.
More data here:

https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption

What is likely to happen next? Which are your thoughts?

no its actually embarassing,

that 1 bitcoin transaction needs the electricity of a european houshold in 2.5 weeks

More than embarassing that is unsustainable. And when something is unsustainable, it usually doesn't last forever.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $50,000 LOST TO BITCOIN ATM SCAM IN AUSTRALIA GEORGI GEORGIEV on: October 07, 2018, 08:39:19 PM
Scammers conned $50,000 out of regular Australians using a blatantly obvious fake tax debt fraud. Multiple victims have been lured into paying off non-existent debt through Bitcoin ATMs.

A TIME-TESTED SCAM
Scammers have managed to con upwards of $50,000 from Australian citizens, luring them in to pay off a non-existent debt in a classic fraud. At least four victims from eastern Melbourne have fallen for the trick, local news media reports.

Purportedly, the scammers would call the victims and convince them that they have an outstanding tax debt and that, if they don’t pay it through a Bitcoin ATM in Braybrook, they will be jailed. The victims would then withdraw their savings from their bank accounts, travel to Brabryook’s Bitcoin ATM and pay off the fake debt to a specified Bitcoin account.

According to the police, this type of scheme targets vulnerable people who are easily convinced that their immigration status is threatened.

Notes Acting Detective Sergeant Katherine Lehpamer:

We believe that there are a number of victims out there who have not reported the matter for one reason or another, they may be here on visas or they are not aware that authorities would never tell them to deposit money into an ATM.

Bitcoin ATMs Spring up Across Utah... ish

COMPLETE LACK OF AWARENESS
Authorities have more than once urged for individuals to be particularly careful when getting phone calls from institutions and to double-check with the relevant organizations the merit of the claims. Sergeant Lehpamer notes on the matter:

Anyone getting a call along these lines should make enquiries with the relevant authority before paying any money or giving any banking or personal details over the phone.

What is shocking, though, is that Australia doesn’t even accept tax payments made in cryptocurrencies. While there are certain projects which allow citizens to pay their bills with digital currencies, they simply act as intermediaries handling the bills on behalf of the user after receiving the same amount in cryptocurrencies.

---What do you think of the fake tax debt scam? Don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments below!---

Difficult to believe that anyone would ever fall for such a scam - it is totally unlausible. And people who would fall for such a scam would probably not have any idea on how to make a Bitcoin payment.

Guys, stop send your report here because this campaign is over long time ago and we still didn't get any payment until now. so, don't waste your time for this!! read first before you doing something.

These spammers would have to be all kicked out of bitcointalk, they are just polluting the forum with garbage. I'll report them, and so should everyone do.

the second consecutive airdrop not get. I think maybe something wrong with my wallet, wanted to look at the block explorers but I couldn't. block explorer does not support address browsing.maybe there is a table on payments airdrop?

i think they just started distributing.
relax you will get it, be sure that you are on telegram and you are registered on the airdrop calendar

Actually the distribution hasn't started yet. We are still cleaning the database of all fake accounts and people abusing the system, but at the moment we are focusing on the difficulty algorithm as it is a more pressing matter

Will be still possible after the difficulty algorithm adjustment - and possibly convenient - to mine X-cash by the way of Nicehash? Did't do that yet, but thinking of...
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the Biggest Bubble in Human History? on: September 01, 2018, 01:59:58 PM
The market is finally showing some weakness after a wild post-election stock market run-up, and it's taking Bitcoin with it. At least so far.

Three years ago, Bitcoin was under $400, a price I thought was too high even then. As far as I'm concerned, Bitcoin has no intrinsic value and should be worth nothing. So why does anyone think it's worth thousands (and in some cases, millions) of dollars?
It's the theory of false scarcity. There are a limited number of bitcoins in the world and the usage of blockchain technology has assigned the ownership of each coin to specific wallets owned by individuals. So to take "ownership," I have to use the universal blockchain mechanism, accepted by all as valid, to transfer a coin.

You have mentioned dollars in your post. Do dollast have any intrinsec value? If yes, explain why. If not, shouldn't they also be worth nothing?
At least Bitcoins cannot be created by banks as they please, in unlimited quantities.
So which is the biggest bubble in human history?
