We're pleased to release Bminer 15.7.3.
The release provides:

* Improve the performance of the Cuckaroo29d miner.

Please see https://www.bminer.me/releases/ for more details.
Happy mining.

same problem here
Code:
CUDA error DRIVER: '1' in func 'bminer::cuckoo::Cuckaroo29dSolverCudaBase::CollectEdges' line 493

I too keep getting the same error as daliboard

Code:
CUDA error DRIVER: '1' in func 'bminer::cuckoo::Cuckaroo29dSolverCudaBase::CollectEdges' line 463

miner is 3x ASUS Strix GTX 1070 8GB with CUDA 10.1 and Drivers 431.36 on Windows 10
bminer is 15.7.1

is there anything I can do to fix this? thanks @realbminer

Hello, I have just upgraded bminer to 15.7.0 in order to mine Grin after the hard fork.
Unfortunately, after updating bminer, I always get this error mesasage:
Code:
CUDA error DRIVER: '500' in func 'bminer::cuckoo::Cuckaroo29dSolverCudaBase::InitializeCudaEnvironment' line 81

This miner (3x GTX 1070) has been working for months without a problem, so I really don't know whats going on.
Does it happen to some of you as well? Thanks

hey, I am getting this error when trying to mine on Windows 10 with an ASUS Arez Strix Vega 56 8GB

Code:
OpenCL Error '-11' in func 'bminer::cuckoo::CuckooStyleSolverCLBase::InitializeCLEnvironment' line 78

I am on bminer 15.5.3 latest version, that otherwise works flawlessly on another rig with only GTX 1070.
I have seen other users reporting it here in this thread and on Reddit as well, but I found no solution.

Can you please help me solve this realbminer?
Thanks for the great work.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitGrin – MimbleWimble with Bitcoin economics. Easy, Lightweight, Private on: January 31, 2019, 06:33:14 PM

BitGrin is a implementation of MimbleWimble with time tested Bitcoin economics.
This means there will only ever be 21 000 000 total coins, reducing block reward every 4 years.
There will be only 21 000 000 BitGrin forever, period.

Visual representation here. https://bitgrin.io/comparision-of-emission/

Launch
BitGrin will launch it's mainnet after securing support from miners and pools.
Currently the target is to launch in 7 days, on February 7th, 2019.

Technical Parameters
Block time 60sec
Reward 5 BitGrin, reducing every 2 100 000 blocks (approximately 4 years)
PoW consensus with Cuckoo Cycle

BitGrin uses a very lightweight implementation of MimbleWimble, allowing every user to have complete privacy and anonymity. BitGrin is also very scalable thanks to our implementation of MimbleWimble we can achieve 60sec blocks while maintaining a lightweight blockchain.
BitGrin was built to follow the time-tested bitcoin economics to the letter, the max coin supply is 21 000 000. We added a flat-rate of 1BitGrin to be sent to developer wallets- effectively removing them from circulation- for the first 1 000 000 blocks, to closely imitate the economic circumstance of “satoshis coins”
BitGrin blockchain code, mining software code etc. Is completely open. This is an Open Source project, we encourage everyone to contribute and improve the code base, we also encourage every 3rd party in our ecosystem to do the same. Sharing is caring.
To ensure a fair launch BitGrin comes out with a “one-click” miner, so even non-technical users can immediately mine it and contribute in the economy.

Features of BitGrin

  • Anonymous transactions
  • Healthy economics
  • Open Source for All
  • PoW with Cuckoo Cycle consensus system
  • Highly Scalable

lol, you say 21.000.000 but that link says "about 31 500 000 000 Grin"
I am looking forward to look at the code, I am sure this will be completely different and original, right?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bminer: a fast Equihash/Ethash/CuckooCycle miner for AMD/NVIDIA GPUs 14.0.0 on: January 28, 2019, 12:54:33 AM
thanks realbminer,
I am running 14.0.0 on Windows 10 with two RTX 2080 Ti, I have latest nvidia drivers (clean install), CUDA etc..
Everything is good and graphrate is great, but I am encountering this error
Code:
Failed to fetch device Status for device id: 1, Error code: 999

I have seen other people were reporting this problem, I dont know how to solve it.
Help please  Grin

I made sure to create exception in Windows Defender, updated to the latest drivers, made sure the rig its running on the iGPU leaving the RTXs alone.
BIOS is on latest version, nvidia-smi is installed and working, everything works except this.

The weird thing is that it worked once while restarting the miner, so its definitely a software issue, don't know where.
Thanks

SOLVED IT!

With my 2x NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition, I usde MSI Afterburner for OC and I noticed this weird thing.
If I set my memory clock above +200 MHz, I start getting this error. I tried all the other parameters, it's just the memory and it starts showing error 1 MHz above +200Mhz.
What's weird is that the rig seems to be perfectly stable with much higher OC, and graphrate scales correctly with OC without an increase in rejected shares, so I dopnt really know whats going on.

realbminer can you shed some light on this?

P.S.: I am using MSI Afterburner 4.6.0.1.14248 Beta 11

hello realbminer, thanks for the amazing work you are doing.

I am currently experiencing a wierd problem with one of my rig: basically it wont work with more than 2 GPUS out of 5.
This is what I see when i run the same .bat I use on the other, working rigs.

I tried every combination with the
Code:
--devices
option, but it will refuse to mine more than 2 rigs.
If I use
Code:
--devices 0,1
it works with consistent graphrates.

These are my specs:
Windows 10 x64
nVIDIA Drivers 417.71
5x GTX 1070 8GB
nvcc 10.0.130

I am currently running my customized .bat inside a safe folder, excluded from Windows Defender.
Please help Kiss

I solved it!!!

whoever is encountering the issue I reported above can just increase the swap size slightly over the size of the GPUs combined RAM.
this solved all of my problems, hope it can help you too.

*update* well I'm way past 5 now and no payout so not sure...

I am running into the same problem: threshold reached, payout is showing in the Payouts tab but TXID shows Unpaid.
And obviously I did not get anything on my wallet.
This is my first payout so I dont really know what to expect.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 2.5d: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Windows) on: February 01, 2018, 12:44:27 AM
this could be probably due to an antivirus program running on your OS.
Some AVs have "live protection" modes that scan for things like this and stop execution.

Please turn off or uninstall completely (the better way) your antivirus and try again
You could also try booting in safe mode (with networking) and see if it works.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 2.5d: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Windows) on: January 30, 2018, 04:57:27 PM
I have been running PhoenixMiner 2.5d instead of Claymore for more than 24 hours and have to admit it is amazing.
My rig is 6x 1070 OC and I used to total 187 MH/s with Claymore: hashrate jumped 3.5% with same OC settings on Asus GPU Tweak II, so I was very pleased.
But the nicest part is that I was able to push OC even more with this miner, so GPUs are now running @ -91 core / +1592 mem smoothly, with avg hashrate of 196 MH/s.
Just by instaling this software and tweaking the GPUs, I gained more than 5% in hashrate, while paying less for dev fees.

ABOUT STALE SHARES: I have 28 after 24 hours, amounting to 1.36% on the total. Since I have no reference (first time mining with Phoenix), let me know if it's similar to what you are getting.
I am using ethermine and my config.txt file is the following:

Code:
-pool eu1.ethermine.org:4444
-pool2 us1.ethermine.org:4444
-wal <myethaddress>.<myrigname>
-pass <mypwd>
-worker <myrigname>
-mi 10
-gt 15

QUESTION: do you know if ethermine allows sending stale shares? I am not specifying the "-stales <n>" parameter, hence it's defaulting to 1 = "send stales"

So, I want to thank PhoenixMiner for the fantastic job and the great software.
Please keep squeezing performance from our almost-exhausted GPUs
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | Introducing ELASTOS | Future of Decentralized Internet on: December 30, 2017, 04:54:44 AM
You still need connectivity, but the way internet layer is used to run application is different. Elastos uses Internet as the base-layer communications rather than an application. Network communication is separated from application computing and apps/Dapps don't have direct network access.

1 BTC = 800 ELA

Decentralized internet needs free WIFI or to pay ISP to provide internet... how is this decentralized ? I don't understand.

what the fuck? ~15€ a pop for a ICO?
consider that Filecoin (FCO) ICO has raised one of the highest amount in the history of ICOs, and yet token were sold for an average of ~4$
Filecoin raised 250 million USD, if prices stay like this you understand you could potentially raise more than a billion?
