Why are the github links for the developers not working? These are listed on your website in "The Team" section

Vitaly Ovin - https://github.com/ovin08
Jeff Russel - https://github.com/JeffRussel

Can you provide me the right github links?
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New miner, need investment advice on: August 21, 2017, 10:23:50 PM
Forget mining, best thing right now is buy eth, with the speculation coming in few weeks, price might jump 3x at least.

What speculation is it that is going to make the price jump 3x?
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will WAVES ever recover? on: August 21, 2017, 10:19:33 PM
I've been lurking in this forum for quite awhile and read many threads on how a good coin WAVES is.  It seems to have run aground taking in water.  Anybody have the same thoughts as me on this?

What did you expect? That it would keep going up forever? Or that you would see 100% profits in a week?

Corrections and stabilization are part of every asset's trade cycle. It is going through a consolidation phase now and is holding its support levels well. You shouldn't be worried with the price not jumping. Just wait for the next momentum wave to kick in.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was there a conspiracy by ethereum inventor , vitalik buterin ? on: August 20, 2017, 09:42:32 PM
As you all know the founder of ethereum is vitalik buterin who is a russian-canada programmer  and also happens to be the co-founder of one of the most popular cryptocurrencies, ethereum.

There was previously a news that went round about a months ago that the co-founder of ethereum vitalik buterin died in a ghastly car accident ,which started going round the media  and started causing an uproar of affliction.

Continue Reading => https://zycrypto.com/conspiracy-ethereum-founder-vitalik-buterin/

Let's call the article for what it is - BS! The article has no solid points and is just a click bait. Anyone could cook up thousand conspiracies without supporting facts and say every drop in price was caused by Vitalik and Ethereum foundation. How about the flash crash from $300 to 10c on GDAX few months back? Was it Vitalik who dumped multi-millions worth of ETH? He can certainly be a whale who can influence the price with his holdings of ETH. Pure non-sense!
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hshare(HSR) and Hcash on: August 20, 2017, 10:10:16 AM
None the less, made sweet gains from HSR, thank you Binance  Grin

Did you buy HSR before they got listed on Binance? Or just swing trades on Binance?
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo airdrop scam, do not fall for it! on: August 19, 2017, 08:58:48 AM
I also lost my ETH (20,212 Ether) savings on this Omisego Scam. Don't trust that website.
Here is the address where all stolen coins are going:

0x3681828DA105fC3C44E212f6c3Dc51a0a5A6F5C6

And it seems that till today more people lost their coins.
Is it possible to shutdown or frozen this address? Perhaps refund the lost coins?

Maybe somebody here who can help us.

Here is my new address if refund is possible:

0xCfA50d417ffE89A771387E60FD3486a5E955641D

Thanks.
Regards.

Are you kidding dude? You seem to be a scammer yourself! Why do you have to create a new ETH address for donations? Why not use you old address where you transferred "20,212 Ether" from? And The scam address doesn't have a transaction of 20,212 Ether - https://etherscan.io/address/0xe9295159eA4Cd40250A7701d6a6B270371561B13

Who are you trying to scam?

NOTE - DONT LISTEN TO BOTH THESE GUYS. THEY ARE PROBABLY THE SAME GUY TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE!
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OmiseGo airdrop scam, do not fall for it! on: August 19, 2017, 08:55:54 AM
This twitter account is promoting a scam airdrop, they will steal your ETH, so don't do it
https://twitter.com/OmiseCo

I lost every ETH i had, for two years i've been saving and now i lost it all. I know it is my fault and i don't want to blame anybody, i just want people not to make the same mistake i did

If anyone's compassionate and wants to donate something this is my address

0xe9295159eA4Cd40250A7701d6a6B270371561B13

Be careful, and good luck to everybody (except you scammers, fuck you!)

Please, no begging! You can't expect people to be compassionate towards your stupidity!
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when your altoin pumps hard ? on: August 19, 2017, 08:46:02 AM
Do you keep HODLing ?

Do you close and find another altcoin ?

what's your strategy ??

I sell part of the investment to get back the original investment amount and purchase another coin with that investment. The profits made would still be in the pumped coin and I will gradually sell it based on the price movement. This way I am only playing with the profit money and am not risking the original capital.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hshare(HSR) and Hcash on: August 19, 2017, 08:37:19 AM
After the uptrend now its time to go down to the ico price

Do you know what the ico price was? It is down to 0.003BTC now from the listing price (0.0068BTC). Definitely looks like an offloading move.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth to buy Waves now? on: August 18, 2017, 07:21:20 PM
Yes, Waves is a good coin to hold Long term.

The best thing to do would be to flip some other coins for quick profits, and use some of those profits to invest in Waves building up a nice amount.

Then lease them out, and you will get even more income from them.

If you end with 1000 waves+ and the price goes up to $100 next year, your laughing.

How much can you make from leasing them? Any ideas? Thanks.

WavesGo is the biggest lessor. You can check the tokens generated for your lease here - http://www.wavesgo.com/stats.html (Go to Mining Stats tab and enter the desired amount of waves). There are other pools out there you can choose from - http://dev.pywaves.org/generators-weekly/ (Check the last column for the avg. revenue in the last 7 days - the higher the better).
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoincash is around 527.74$ now! on: August 18, 2017, 01:21:18 PM
I haven't seen a proper answer for the price increase here. So I will give one -

It is not hype as some of the people here have speculated. Neither is it just random increase/decrease or pump/dump! It is due to the anticipation of mining profitability parity.

Bitcoin Cash's value is a direct co-relation to the percentage of BCC/BTC mining power. BCC mining was unprofitable when it forked on Aug 1st. The difficulty took some time to adjust, and then there have been multiple mining groups trying to play the block times and difficulty decrease/increase, which I will not get into here. Finally, in the past day or so, the mining profitability seems to be reaching an equilibrium - it is within 5% distance from BTC mining profitability. Check this link for up-to-date stats - https://cash.coin.dance/blocks.

The price increase is a speculation that the mining profitability will be achieved in the next few days and more mining power would be pointed to mine BCC (Right now, even the people who supported BCC and wanted to mine it might not be mining it because it wasn't profitable) and BCC would see an increase in hash power/price/support again. But as more miners point to it, the difficulty increases again, and if the transactions don't increase correspondingly on the chain, the profitability decreases again and you will see miners moving back to BTC. This is where the price goes down again. We will see this increase/decrease a few times (also because of the politics played both BTC/BCC groups with mining) until an equilibrium is achieved. This is when the price remains stable and we will find out the true value of BCC. It could eventually die away if the mining profitability just keeps going down or could live along side BTC (similar to ETH/ETC).

Also, BCC chain just saw its first 8MB block a day or two back, which pumped everyone's expectations.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: If i start mining ethereum by taking loan of 3000$ for 2 years , will it beneficial ? on: August 18, 2017, 12:12:59 PM
If i want to start mining rig by taking loan. If i take loan of 3000 usd for 2 year will it help . I am worrying about network hash rate as it increasing day by day. Will this deal help?

I mine and invest heavily. Here is my 2c - Buy the coins directly rather than mining. You won't have the hassles of mining and you will see a better ROI. I haven't invested in mining in the past 3-4 months, just been investing. Good luck!
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins activities on: August 18, 2017, 11:56:58 AM
hi,
I created a program that calculate how many people are writing in the forum "Announcements (Altcoins)"
The result can be viewed  on the https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2027544.msg20964343#msg20964343
I would like to hear your thoughts is it worth and what can be improved

Do you have a problem statement - something that can be solved or something you are trying to solve? What you have is an utility that just lists out the people with the number of posts. How is it going to help by generating this list? There is not enough information for someone to generate/refer to your list. If you are trying to solve the problem of which coin to trust and which one to not trust, and if your solution is to see the number of 4*, 5* members replying to the coin thread, then you should try to list out some ratings for each thread. But the problem with just listing the number of posts is all these 4*, 5* members might be bashing the coin and saying that it is a scam. Your program should probably take that into account as well, before listing out the number of posts/ratings.

Think about what you want to solve and what kind of value you want your program to have for the community. That would be a better start than just writing a program and asking for suggestions to improve it.

You can PM me if you need help solving a problem you have identified.

Good luck!
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for: TIPS on how to identify pshing sites (altcoin wallets) on: August 18, 2017, 11:46:36 AM
why not just use the well-known ones?

the wallet was myetherwallet.com was it not well known?

It could have been a phishing site with a spoofed URL name resembling myetherwallet.com (but in reality it could have been myetherwaIIet or myetherwallet.se etc.)

Couple of things to remember -
1. Always remember to check the URL before entering your credentials (Check if there are any letters resembling other letters like mm or nn).
2. Always check for the Certificate to the left of the address bar (It should say Secure with a lock sign in Chrome, and similar icons for other Browsers).

Try to bookmark the authentic site once you visit it and always try to go to the site via your bookmark and never click on links forwarded via email/messenger/forum to login to a page. If you must visit, type in the URL so you know you are entering the right characters and not mistaking some characters in the link for some others.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need help for new publication, how to add new coins on exchange? on: August 18, 2017, 11:36:34 AM

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hshare(HSR) and Hcash on: August 18, 2017, 11:29:56 AM
I would be skeptical about this until the trend stabilizes. There could be massive manipulation going on with the early investors or the exchange itself and the listing on Binance could be a pump/dump move by them. Wait for a cpl of days and you should be able to catch the upward wave if it is legit.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How? on: August 17, 2017, 06:30:23 PM
No one knows.  If there was such a thing, everyone would be rich.  Just do your own research on the projects and if it looks good to you, invest in it and be patient.

^^ What he said! There is no secret formula for success, be it cryptos or any other investment space!
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt Companies from ICOs should publish their income periodically? on: August 17, 2017, 06:24:53 PM
Altcoin Companies should regularly prove to investors i they're profitable or not like regulated companies do. This will help reduce the numbers of Fraudulent ICOs in the market and also help make Start-ups with real ideas to thrive. People need to know if this Altcoins are profitable or not. There should be no mercy.

*Many seem to go to sleep after ICOs

*They should publish their profits on annual basis?

* They should be Transparent. That is what Crypto is meant to be?

* Investors need to know if the companies are profitable or not

*People need to know if the companies are sustainable or not.

*  They should be run Professionally

Any company that fails to meet this ceteria should be seen as Fraud & publicly disgraced allover the Internet with big Negative rating

I think Cryptocurrency can work without government. The little problem now is the lack of effort by big stakeholders to make this possible.

My 2c-

It would be hard for them publish the numbers, especially when they are in the bootstrap phase. Even if they do publish numbers, they might not convey the development efforts that are going on backdoors. I think you should judge these companies based on their activity on github, community sites, slack etc. which fairly proves that they are really working hard to meet their goals (could be an alpha, beta or a 1.0 release or something similar and quantifiable). Although this argument only applies to the pure/innovative technology ICOs. There are a bunch of others that are just some sort of funds/management/finances-related etc. which could warrant the argument you put forth. But also remember that having a regulatory body over these companies is just going to centralize everything and move away from the core concept of de-centralization.

I would rather enforce the accountability of the teams using funds lock-up/escrow. All the ICO funds would be put in a escrow and would be released as and when you hit certain goals (could be a smart-contract based system/vote where the community/stake-holders/investors all have some sort of a say and vote). Obviously, there would be cases where the team runs out of money/shit hits the fan and they miss their deadlines etc. at which point it is up to all the stakeholders to vote on how to keep the team going (and that is where the true de-centralization lies). The counter argument to this is that there would always be short-term investors who would just unjustly push the team for various reasons - artificial pump/politics etc. That is where the community comes in again to restore the balance.

I am sure that people will more or less start fearing (or be more careful) of the ICOs in the future and the funding would dry up. Only the really good ones would get heavy investments and the rest of the ICOs would have to device ways to garner more trust from people. We will then have ICOs with more investor-friendly terms. You can kinda make the analogy of tech startup scene in Silicon valley to the ICO scene right now. The funding for startups has dried up to an extent after an unbelievable 2016. VCs have become more careful now and it is not so easy to fool them with hyped products anymore. The same would apply to the ICOs too, but my guess is it would probably take a couple of years to get there.
