@neekir your 1060 are not working good on 250-277 Sol

a. mining on 250 mls latency = BAD not know on what pool you are but better try to get a better one with 30-60 mls at list
b. i am tenting to believe your I/s (intensity), low one, it cause by High temperature aka miner it lower to keep temp lower ... with it can cause low hrate aka that 250-280 Sol/s
c. 77 C temp is to high try to fix cooling somehow ... it will improve point b

- equihash algoritm it not care much about memory speed it need more brute force from GPU combine by cuda core & pipeline soo hynix i think is not a realy a issue
- try to post technical data use in tuning like Power Limit, Temp Limit, GPU clock, Mem Clock

@akuci yup for sure he have some bad thing in his rig ... @promomei equihash algoritm it not care much about memory speed

for 1060 with PL 73%, TL 80, GPU Clock +168 (1830 - 1880 Mhz), Mem Clock +600 (4404 mhz) it suppose to be something like this (mining btg):

- i can confirm in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 with "--color 1" = noo color,
- speed speaking my 1060 it get slice better with tune what i use PL 74% Core Clock +168 Mem Clock +600 aka from Avg ~301 it goo to ~306 but this it require more time to be sure
- 1 crash with 0.6 till now after using 0.5.8 with 0 crash

sadly Excavator after nvidia come with cuda 9.1 driver it become unstable like hell, at list on my 1060 is like play rusion rulet it crash random because he exceeds gpu clock what is set in MSI crashing him self & gpu to, i report that to dev but they say they can't reproduce issue with i doubth ... who know my be they will fix in future, i use that miner app a lot & i was like it till he become unrelable coz it was require to monitor him every minute to see when he crash to stop & restart with is unproductive, same other reason i stop use Excavator because dstm & rbminer was release & speed factor Sol/W it was become less efficient ... but i know dev they say they will cach up, atm from what i see they was focus on Neoscript algo ... who know after they will done with Neo they will focus on equihas

p.s. about most fast Neoscrypt my last test done with Excavator vs Hsrminer aka Excavator_v1.4.2a they still was behind Hsrminer (even ccminer done by KlausT was better) on 1060 = ~645 vs ~720, i know atm is 1.4.4.a with i was not tested & hope they made it

@cryptoyes one thing Claymore it will make more $$$ if his Equihash miner app it will support Nvidia to ... coz it support only AMD personally i will switch gladly to Claymore but i can't coz i use Nvidia & way because it have most transparent dev fee take implement no shady address, no extra pool permanent connection (it connect only when dev fee is need to be take), evrything is seen

Before start mine any coin shitcoin, main or future pro one it require to doo some research.

1. what wallet option it have implement own, web, coinomi, jaxx, exodus ?
2. in what exchange are available to be trade
3. what road map they have like future ...
4. what background they have ...

just mine with out keep in mind few thing & hope to get profit, it can be turn on in a bad result aka shit situation (shitcoin)

if changelly, shapeshift can't be use & pool like MiningPoolHub, Zpool, HashRefinery (how @MagicSmoker suggested) they don't have them ... then is best to not waste time to mine all what is appear from sky & believe it will bring a hit yes miracle it can happen but they are rare that is call "miracle"

in end that's a exchange it do > give option to trade A for B, yes i know exchange have strict politics & ruls to can be use & probabil that you ask for an alternative

Well my be he want to see this miner app to be top & my be he care about see Bminer on correct road ... is nothing wrong on that more good miner apps to choice is benefit for all community if it will end in a fair constructive competition We live in free world & all we can chouse what we like to use or to be stubborn believe in something, is not need to be high IQ person to get what is best for our needs or for what any of us want

personally i wish to see dstm, bminer, excavator & claymore in a real competition because then miner community & dev it will have a win win situation but till then we take what we like & fell is best for our needs coz each have pro & bad thing

@Mr.Spider703 dear one even Excavator dev admit speed is not top one & they need to tune better & main problem of excavator is stability ... but what ever use what ever you like & believe is best for you ... there are discussion there github dev place already about this with feedback & all what a well informed person need

well @MagicSmoker you was asking about other poll sadly for equilash algo there are not soo many good one each have they'r flow & issue but best is to find what it best for you & your mining power

Personal i wish nanopool to implement more coin coz from all my mining experience i think is one of most stable, reliable & with good info about statistic but well this is my personal preference, flypool is same good one but they came in my second preference

What is important is to have a good steady Hpower (preferable to not encourage pool hopper or horde algoritm jumper), steady amount miner & good ping for your mining rig (this is most important)

few other pool what i use:
- suprnova is fine but ocminer it have a very nasty api / web interface what bring info / statistic what can't be use at all
- miningpoolhub it have bad & good thing in same time a extremly customize amount of cash out, in what type you want to cash out (auto exchange), api is a little better but with some big delay sometime ... what i not like is fact it encourage horde jumping algoritm & if you want to be a focus miner to a specific coin when big pack of jumper came it can ruin your work if you are a small miner

away find what is best for your needs, what me or other say it can be subjective perspective

@cryptoyes with one thing i agree, make a test on a pool like Luckpool is bad idea 1. very small Hpower (~2 MS/s) 2. Jumpy & unstable (personal when i try first thing what i sen was high ping = bad, even website it take some time to load) 3. very few miner / worker

A good test it can be done on a pool with better speed like at list 8-10 MS/s with +1000-2000 miner what can provide constant block found / hour / day & with less jump hoper around

@cryptoyes but at part with a test it can't be done with 1 single GPU i not agree only think what @MagicSmoker need to change is pool that it

@DumaxFr api it have 2 option power_limit = max power in W or tdp in % booth are yes relative value no GPU it will stay on exact value what it will be set & yes it will be +/- variation, but problem is when an application can't fallow his own setting & exceed to much like in my case, for that i will give you few scenario below:

- GPU TDP = 72% = ~86W = ~1860 Mhz = good ration = normal working
- GPU TPD = 72% = ~86W = ~2216 Mhz = miner it will crash & GPU it will to
- GPU TDP = 72% = ~88W = ~1888 MHz fine in range of max with +/-
- GPU TDP = 72% = ~90W = ~1847 Mhz = Bad aka application exceed limit result escape out of control

anyway no matter what Excavator it do something what make GPU to hit max with bad power ratio & ending booth screw up, so back to my point Excavator it need to be tech to be "good boy" because 1. it can fry equipment 2. it end not doing his job 3. it consume power for nothing

try https://www.altminer.net/ is good pool too for neoscript but it not have autoexchange with what can be much better for who know what & make a planing for long term

good miner are:
- Hsrminer - top speed in my test
- Ccminer KlausT - close to hsrminer
- Nsgminer - speed is jumpy
- Excavator - dev team working for better tuning & they will get there ...
