21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP FIVE SECRETS OF MAKING IT BIG IN BETTING WORLD on: September 24, 2020, 10:24:47 AM
Now it is not a secret anymore, just kiddin' lol.

Well, great objectives, man. I'd say, they're all plausible. Number 1 is kinda odd thing to do, and am pretty sure that, not everyone can grasp such activity the same way you do  Undecided. You know... it is just that gettin' profit first became the priority here by the majority, or I'd better say it became a norm. Well number 2, seems a difficult job though, I mean this requires huge confidence, and understanding. But yeah, if those person who usually gamble or bet huge amount money manage to get a hold of this idea, they'll be able to avoid unnecessary spending. Well number 3 to 5 is already a given factor, better be reminded with these stuff before engaging in this venture.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: September 23, 2020, 09:43:56 AM
Lakers 2, Nuggets 1

With under five minutes in the 4th quarter, I though Lakers is going to mount a late comeback. They managed to bring the lead down to three but Nuggets pulled away again.

I fancy Nuggets chances of beating the Lakers in this series. I like how they always look the underdog but they don't really care who is in front of them hehe.
They mount a comeback, but damn, Murray is hot and closing the game with that long 3's. It's was a good comeback from the Lakers though, but it is not enough. I thought we might see a overtime in game 3. But Nuggets is too much and makes the series more interesting. And the good thing is that they're able to have a good lead, unlike in the first two games wherein they are the one mounting a late comeback. And this give them enough cushion they lead as much as 20 at one point.
What happen with these guys (Davis, Howard, McGee)? They only got 4 rebounds in total though, quite unreal considering their height, they should've at least secured 8 to 10 boards between them  Undecided.

Anyway, Lakers needs to step up a bit more, they got outplayed the first three quarters and it isn't something you can just ignore. And I still can't believe with Jokić hitting those idk what kind of shot was that  Cheesy.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: September 22, 2020, 04:08:02 PM
Nice games, right there. I like the Jade Puzzle one, actually I tried to play the fun mode however I couldn't get past the loading screen. This error "You've lost connection to the server. Please refresh to continue" always shows up, not sure if it is on my end or what but I have a good connection though, so I doubt that it was on my part. Anyway, I'll just try it the other time, it's just a shame haven't got the chance to try as I'm fond of puzzle games  Sad.

Anyway, upon looking at the poll, no wonder, why the majority voted on skill games over the traditional, since the probability of winning on the former is way more higher than the latter. And I admit, you would feel bad losing on chance based games, or I'd better say you'll feel unlucky, compared to skill base 'cause you'll just feel more challenged, hence you'll be urge to play even more better.

Let us know which ones do you prefer = traditional slots or skill games?
And so, I too, prefer skill games  Cheesy.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 22, 2020, 08:42:37 AM
I doubt you could consider luck in coding? That is unless you're just fiddling around the codes and somehow managed to make it work, then that is indeed luck but it shouldn't be normally applied since coding requires knowledge and that can't really betray you, or for any other knowledge-based work out there. Sports betting has knowledge used as well, yes, but the difference is you're basically judging others instead of yourself, which makes it a lot more difficult to actually achieve a result. It's like the difference between knowing how to create your own house vs asking someone who knows how to create a house, the former being you know what to do, the latter being you can only leave it up to someone you "THINK" can do it.
Definitely! And you ought to make whatever logic you applied on those codes works/function, in the first place. Besides, you must laid out everything you'll need before writing a program though -- understanding the problem itself, plan, and whatnot to achieve the target result as precise as possible, and pretty much the same goes with other jobs out there except gambling  Grin. Besides, being a gambler isn't a job, to begin with, it would be better off not to treat such activity be similar to one another. Gambling is for entertainment alone, winning consistently is another.

The defense is just too good from the Lakers and sometimes it looks dirty. i.e. Dwight Howard
But that is how playoffs is. You play tough and make every possession count.
I couldn't agree more  Cheesy. That guy, Dwight is definitely a bully  Cheesy.

-
Did anyone else notice how casual Rondo is after Davis made the shot? Everyone was ecstatic but he just walked like nothing important happened.
-
Anyway, Rondo saw many buzzer beating shots already so maybe that one isn't a huge one for him that is why he walked like without happened Cheesy. Didn't saw that but what I saw is after the buzzer sounds, AD yelled the name "Kobe". They are still undefeated when they use that purple and yellow jerseys. They are inspired right now by Kobe and they are now 2 wins away from going to the NBA Finals.
Did he? Mamba's spirit is definitely within him in that clutch moment  Tongue.

As for Rondo, actually, I didn't notice it as well. I have to watch the replay once more. That dude, is way too relaxed at such a moment as if the game is not yet done for him  Cheesy. He's probably still thinking a lot of things on how they're gonna win, or maybe he's mad that they almost blew their lead.

Could it be that the man's defiant and very vocal attitude, often cursing and using words as rough and unstatesmanlike as stupid, son of a bitch, and so on against prominent western leaders, is the reason for being economically punished by international communities? Could it be that his strong independent policies often laced with anti-western pronouncements are really the reason why he is being so disliked among western leaders?
It seems to be the reason, by the looks of it. Besides, I see no sense of urgency from the administration to withdraw with their bloody fight, or let's say patching up the issue at hand. What's worse is that, they even fanned those flames with this seemingly unyielding-attitude. Might be because, common Filipinos (exporters, and the likes) is the one who would suffer in this event, and perhaps not them.

Take a look at this:

My brothers, when money is involved, you will forget whether you are a fan of a particular club or not.
Exactly, man. Of course, you won't bet on your favorite team knowing that, it has more less chance winning on the opposing team LOL. You should know when to set aside being a fan to being a gambler, as your interest/admiration into a particular team won't give you the odds on winning  Cheesy. Which is also, a common practice I usually notice specially whenever I bet 'bout sports among with my friends.

-
Well by the Grace of God, I have seriously grown in the business, I haven't won 260k at a stretch but I have won more than that from bettings
Well, good to know. This is much better opportunity, I'd say. Keep this up, man.

I wonder if they had blamed him in the lockers.  Grin
I don't think so.
They are not that type of team. They will just go back stronger and try to win it next time.
It could have been a win if Murray had thrown the ball on the other side of the court after blocking Green with 2 seconds remaining.
But I am not blaming him neither. He may not be in a good position to do it or may have not thought of that.
I do think right now he is having flashbacks of "what ifs".  Grin
Yeah, I agree! And one more thing I noticed 'bout them is that, they seemed very composed, I mean, they look more calm (at least for me) compared to those other teams out there. And, exactly my thoughts for Murray, however he doesn't seem to have a grip on the ball to throw it on the other side of the court, but still great effort for that man. Anyway, also huge props to Jokic, it was him who almost make Lakers take that L  Cheesy. These two big guys are makin' WCF even more exciting.

I'm still up for Lakers, 'di ko ma-explain thoroughly pero sa tingin (sa tingin ko lang) Lakers is a bit too much for Denver Huh Medyo na-overestimate ko na ata LOL, pero if they could still maintain their tenacity then I don't have anything to doubt haha.

How 'bout sa East? Tingin mo don?

Talk about "comfortable" thingy... Have you guys seen this news?

Source: https://www.facebook.com/134752476678442/posts/1945805478906457/

Afaik, even sa GCQ ay bawal pa (not really sure though).

Mind asking? May mga nagku-kumpulan ba? I hope na sana wala.

I don't know if the page is mocking the phishing perpetrators by stating that an almost realistic phishing campaign is out and about Cheesy
+100

It still happen kasi nagwo-work pa rin sa side nung mga gumagawa nito Sad.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: September 18, 2020, 03:07:19 PM
One more thing that addicts can do is decrease the bet amount. Let's say from $100 to $10 so that it doesn't matter if they play every week. I don't have serious problems with gambling exactly because I wager pennies. Once you get too serious with gambling, all sorts of issues arise exactly like what OP said. Yeah, sometimes people think they can become rich from gambling. Yes, if you own a casino!
So far, this is the most convincing piece of advice I have ever seen among the other replies, or I'd say, feasible given the guy's condition. Well anyway, just to add, it is also possible to lessen his bets while in the process, I mean maybe, a 5% reduction gradually whenever he bet, until he gets used to it. He still could gamble though, obviously, however atleast, he won't be able to waste huge amount of money like before  Cheesy.
34  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [NEW] Netflix phishing e-mail on: September 18, 2020, 10:29:50 AM
Funny lang, while they're trying to fool somebody, eh 'di naman nila chineck kung 'yong structure nung sentence nila is tama  Cheesy.

Pero mukhang convincing 'yong source if 'di mo mapapansin 'yong cedilla dun sa letter "N" LOL  Grin, or if 'di mo iche-check 'yong email nung sender.

Here's their email account:

(I took a screenshot from one of their updates nila sa akin)
Code:

Ung nearby cities na katabi ng city na tinitirahan ko and ung probinsya na tinitirahan ko has been racking up on new COVID cases ulit in the past few days after having almost near-zero cases for weeks.

(Please don't mention your specific city for personal privacy purposes)
Fortunately, dito naman sa lugar namin 'yong case isn't alarming naman, been several weeks rin since 'yong last report nila (3 weeks ago, I suppose?) then kanina lang nag-update, and to my suprise napakalayo nung agwat nung recoveries kumpara sa new positive cases, and 'di rin umabot ng 3 digits 'yong mga bagong kaso. It feels different though kasi if ever na lalabas or pupunta ako ng mall, eh always maraming tao, I don't doubt the numbers, I'm just amazed how my city's mayor handle the situation kumpara sa neighboring cities namin (from what I know, eh they still having trouble pa)  Undecided.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My experience is gambling on: September 17, 2020, 09:03:15 AM
That is actually happening. Stealing from someone just to make sure he has something to spend with his gambling habit. Or many gamblers are usually resorting to loans, up until they can't pay their debts gaining more interest.
In my case, I just play with my extra funds. I lost big before, so I already learned my lesson. I don't want to regret my decisions especially in gambling.
They are literally blinded by their desire to win or recoup their spending, quite scary though, and I don't even know what would I do if I ever became such individual  Undecided.

Same goes here, man. It might be disappointing to go back home without gettin' anything in return, even a little amount, however, it is far more better than doing several stuff beyond a sane man would do  Grin. And so, am still somewhat glad just thinking I never did consider doing those stuff you guys mentioned  Grin.

They could even win this series if the Clippers offence will be the same like they did in game 6. It's not that hard for that thing to happen since they've found some way to beat them on 3 straight games and the Clipper's coach is losing his hair to think some strategies to counter both offensive and defensive strategies of the Denver Nuggets. Jokic has been playing like a team captain along with Murray who make this game like how it used to be when it was more than 20 years ago.

Also I want to see a match between Anthony Davis and Nikola Jokic in a playoff games to see whos the current best center in the league.
I'm even more afraid about Nuggets more than Clippers now, thinking if Lakers would've to face that team in WCF  Undecided. It seems to me that they could even go over with LA with these looks. I'm not tryin' to underestimate Clippers though, maybe I just expect too much from them, 'cause I never thought it would reach up to Game 7 considering their previous standing.

As far as making your password stronger goes, you should take a look with @bob123's reply, here, and have it into consideration whenever you'll create one or if you would make some changes with your pw. This maybe kind of odd to do for typical users, since it is quite straightforward  Grin.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Police Raids and kids involving spider betting. on: September 13, 2020, 10:40:28 AM
Kind of hilarious to think that this is still a thing up into these days. I mean, I just thought that this sort of game was already long gone  Cheesy.
Small or big money involve once there are/is some law about gambling that they violate they should be able to arrest or capture.
But this is difficult now, they are still minor and for sure in some country, this is different issue once minor are involved in gambling.
In terms of the current pandemic and there are some events like this, this is totally not allow in some country (just like ours).
It's difficult to control the people in gambling, even we say the money involve here are small only.
I have to agree. Minor or not, violation is still a violation, and somebody must be held accountable for such action (might be their guardian, which on some cases, would've to pay for a certain fine).

And yeah, this is kind of burdensome for the authorities to stop completely over, I'd say, constant monitoring wouldn't be enough as it can also happen elsewhere, in some places less noticeable.

Not that we're hard-headed though, it is just that events like this isn't a typical thing someone could put an end to  Undecided.

Kung kakayanin pa nung Denver ma-push 'to for Game 7  Grin.

Anyway, bale highest possible score is 15 points yata, and 'yon 'yong makukuha natin per match up? Kaso, parang ang dami magta-tie nito, if mananalo 'yong Clippers next game, kasi karamihan rin is 4-2 'yong prediction haha.
