1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the floor of this drop? on: September 15, 2017, 01:02:56 AM
News out of China is not bad and cannot be bad. China is completely irrelevant because Chinese investors will continue to buy Bitcoin, but they will buy more Bitcoin if it gets banned. I was born in the Soviet Union. I remember when it was illegal to own or hold US dollars (and you could not have more than $500 per family member if you had to leave the country). And you know what everyone desperately wanted? Dollars.

Relax. There have been no bad news. Just irrational panic selling.

Jamie Dimon's comments are not bad news either. Only a person really afraid and emotional would make such violent comments about an investment (trust me, he is not speaking out against Bitcoin because he is worried about his fellow man losing money on a bad investment). He is scared shitless that banks will become extinct because of it. He is scare for a reason. It means BTC is a very important technology for the world. Just load up. Don't worry about how much you pay. $500,000k or more per coin in a few years...

You guys need to relax. If China bans BTC, the price will rise, not decline. If your government blocks your access to BTC you will then buy more BTC as protection from this government. Also, don't forget that Facebook and Google are completely illegal in China (I was just there. You type in Google.com and just get a blank page), and the value of both is sky high.

Other governments have actually legalized Bitcoin. It is legal tender in Japan. Russia is rolling out crypto trading on the Moscow Stock Exchange. And so on...

No one can guess the exact bottom. But when BTC is $500,000 in 3 years or so, you won't care if you paid $3,000 or $5,000. Don't think pennies. Think big picture here.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Fraud Says Jamie Dimon - JPMorgan CEO - WTF!? on: September 12, 2017, 07:56:01 PM
We are going to be seeing more and more hostile comments from top bankers regarding Bitcoin. They are extremely threatened by it because I personally believe that with cryptocurrency there won't be a need for banks in the future. In about 5 years, you will have a super user friendly, super reliable Bitcoin wallet that any grandma can use that will securely store all your money and allow you to pay bills and not rely on 3rd parties or pay any bank fees. Why in the world would anyone need a bank 5 years from now?

I am sure that the top bankers will be flying to Washington on their jets to meet with lawmakers to push them to make Bitcoin illegal which will never work because banning it in one country won't take it down.

Dimon has made these comments in the past. His comments will just become more and more violent as time goes by. My suggestion to all of you is to just realize that the more violent he gets the higher the price of Bitcoin will go. When you see news like this, just go out and buy more Bitcoin so he gets egg on his face each time.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / NEM (XEM) stuck on Poloniex and no reply from customer support on: August 08, 2017, 10:13:11 PM
Hey Guys,

I withdrew NEM from my Poloniex account into my NEM wallet but it never arrived. It shows as "Complete: Error" in the Poloniex withdrawal history. So the NEM is neither in my Poloniex account or in my NEM wallet and appears to have been sent but with error. I checked and the wallet address I specified is absolutely correct.

To make matters worse, about 5 days ago I opened a ticket on Poloniex to ask assistance with this issue but they never responded.

Anything I can do? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
