2  Other / Meta / Re: Selling of merits and btctalk accounts on: October 18, 2018, 11:54:20 PM
I saw that many users are selling their merits and hacked btctalk accounts, shouldn't these people be banned? What are the moderators here for? Why are threads like those even possible? In order to stop the selling of accounts I think mods should ban the ones selling as soon as possible. Most of the account sellers are going to try to scam you anyways, so they can make easy money off naive people very easily if they are allowed to do it here literally on the btctalk forum.
Well it is hard to stop those kind of transactions because other owner of btctalk accounts are gone for business so for me it is not that bad but possibly it will became as what others I think planned to do. We can never tell what people want to do but we can use that transaction for us to be familiar so that we can also be in that kind of system
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto capable of making the world go digital? on: October 18, 2018, 04:05:19 PM
This is very possible. The Blockchain technology is a revolutionary one with a lot of significance. As the people become more familiar with it, the adoption and utilization of the Blockchain and cryptocurrency will increase which will gradually lead the world to cashless.
The world gone cashless Huh , well it is hard to do but it is possible with blockchain technology because you can put a certain amount digitally and you can use it on your own transactions like those papers and coins valued as money though papers are quite equal to its value
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is not private on: October 18, 2018, 11:21:42 AM
If you really want to understand blockchain technology and invest in new projects, you definitely need to read the data security laws. I've seen so many Dapps that offer opportunities to free people, free data or create open markets. Cool, but the white paper doesn't say how to store these extremely private, sensitive data controlled by a highly developed set of international data security laws, does it? Data privacy on the blockchain is integrated with the underlying chain, or built in the top layer, which will create a huge market that is critical to expanding consumer-grade applications.

It's true that blockchain is not private... it is not only for you . Well it is maid to store data that is need to be encrypted though it's open for anyone it gives them a hard time solving those algorithms and other analytical problems just to open blockchains system.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE!! on: October 16, 2018, 11:04:34 PM
We are into gadgets, most of the people are addict on it.
We spent more of our vacant time facing our Cellphones and Ipads.

Playing games and downloading some apps on the store require payments, Is this the best time for those stores to open their payment method with cryptocurrency specially Bitcoin?

As far as I know some of the transactions on playstore and appstore are use to be paid via electronic money transferring device or app such as visa and paypal. Many people uses paypal as a way of purchasing on the internet and can be use to transact also bitcoins and other cryptocurrency, it holds amount from crypto as profit.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 16, 2018, 12:45:06 AM
The success of digital wallets in the African continent was really great and based on what I've read on news articles about it, it really helped the economy and the businesses when it all started years ago.
With this in mind, will Africans be welcoming of bitcoin/altcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to earn cash or invest? Like using it as real money / cash?
Though some parts of Africa suffering from difficulties in their daily lives they may use to welcome bitcoin and altcoin as their money and for other transactions it might be useful to them to have a certain finances for their life. A country like Africa who's use to entertain ideas like crypto are those who will be more innovated if it goes through.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks will always be against cryptocurrencies? on: October 15, 2018, 09:14:00 PM
No, I do not believe that. We must admit that what has allowed banks to acquire so much economic power is their ability to understand where capital is, and make the necessary efforts to keep it.

Knowing that banks will never fight against capital, what I see today is a growing interest of banks to incorporate blockchain technologies into their processes, and because of their marked interest in taking over everyone's money, it would not be strange that in the near future we will see banks willing to accept cryptocurrencies to carry out financial transactions.
Well in the first place banks and crypto currency has the same in some purpose like stroring and investing money. In the market or as a competition in business you must take down your opponent by your advantage but the scenario of banks and crypto, crypto slightly introducing itself to the market but as what it takes to be banks suddenly opposing to it to stay in the society.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Taxes on: October 15, 2018, 03:21:16 PM
I've heared that in some countries people have to pay the income tax after buying fiat for their bitcoins. Anyone faced such problem? If yes then how you deal with it in your country?
At one point of view  bitcoin is an instrument for investment so ppl buy it willing to get income in their currency.
At the other point it is a currency and it might be used with a purpose of saving. In this case the tax would be stupid.
Its ok to have a tax applied on every bitcoin that is transacted but it must be on the right measures. It must be accurate to the amount of money inside the bitcoin to be equal and fair and be sure that those taxes that are accumulated or gained is use for a god cause and a good reasons.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stay safe on: October 15, 2018, 11:50:04 AM
I have just read a good article on security and I feel like it's worth sharing as the hacks keep happening over and over again. Read the basic principles and stay safe guys!

https://www.ccn.com/the-common-tactics-used-to-hack-a-cryptocurrency-exchange/
Security is a must and it will always be, like to our community theres a lot of phenomena where others can take advantage in such manner security can avail or perform. In relatively to bitcoin and other crypto there are so many features and encrypted data that make it more secured than those banks and other types of invesments
10  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: October 15, 2018, 04:54:28 AM
In every business it's the same. When new technology comes up the existing businesses will evolve or die. And obviously new businesses will also rise strong.
Same happened with mp3 and music industry...
Banks will not be more efficient as of the past decades until a new era of currency system comes up. Crypto currency can hold and store money up to a such amount also it is more secured than what bank does, in synonymous manner banks and the new upcoming crypto's can be encrypted so we need to be much understanding.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Whales; Myth or not on: October 15, 2018, 12:00:04 AM
Of recent we have had a couple of conversations discussing whales and their level of influence on the bitcoin market.

Most are familiar with the concept of, who a whale is. Someone who owns a percentage of a certain currency large enough to cause a disruption in the market through various actions can be referred to as a whale.

It is believed that a few hands hold a larger share of the total bitcoin in circulation.
While it is possible that this investors might know each other personally, that doesn't at all mean they all work together to manipulate the market.

Someone willing to invest a couple of millions in currency should have  a higher target than trying to make a quick buck by risking his assets. And with the maturity of bitcoin as a currency, (over 109billion in market value) manipulating the market is not as easy at it once was, but still as risky.

Whales are most times believers in that asset or commodity, more so than the average investor. And I don't see why they would risk their assets in an attempt to hurt and degrade the value of what they believe in.

Am not suggesting you be ignorant of market manipulations, but filter any information you get for bullshit.
As an investor, sharp, short market changes shouldn't bother you as much, and as a trader, rely on other forms of analysis, technical and foundamental.
And develop the right mindset to control your emotions.
I think whales are those who founded on the construction of crypto, anonymous people who are the pioneer of this system we belong not that large enough but the whole of it that they have may cause a large impact to the market but theres no factual evidence is presented thus it it only an opinion
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis is Coming on: October 14, 2018, 10:21:14 PM
There was a kind of 'Black Monday' in the US Stock Exchange. The Dow Jones Index fell 4.60 percent. A daily loss was the strongest drop in Wall Street history with 1,175 points. Panic sales jumped into the world, the Japanese Nike index dropped by 5.5 percent ...

I do not particularly like to give disastrous news, but the crisis is in the doorway ...! The American Stock Exchange has not experienced such a decline for a long time.

Is this situation the signals of the crisis or is this crisis going to be skipped in a short time?

We are all waiting with curiosity ....
Crisis maybe real or not it depends when the stock market will continuously decrease but as we can see the activities are all going to run smoothly though stocks decreases it can only mean that the market is updated and so the economy.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: October 14, 2018, 05:31:52 PM
The society is divided into haves and haves not, poor people are getting more poorer and rich people are getting more richer, Value of money is decreasing and inflation is increasing, Many people around the globe suffer death mostly Africa and asia because hunger and unable to fulfill basic human needs.
What actions should governments need to take and how individuals can contribute?
It is just about the balance, balance that gives every people an enough resources to live no high no low but all are equal just an idea that we must set limitation on how much a person earn money and handle money so that other money may be given to those other person who need the most.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new phenomenal innovation on: October 14, 2018, 02:52:47 PM
Today as we modernize some of the aspects in the economy like in the production wherein pneumatic machinery are being introduce. Thus, innovation has already prove its efficiency in the production which lowered the production cost. In the areas of transportation, there are cars also being introduced that run by a battery and efficient also and economy in terms of expenses maintenance compared to gasoline powered cars. Other than that there are already other inventions that promote the comfort of living in life. Thus, digital currency is another innovations. Could you consider bitcoin as the new innovations for fiat money? The answer will be used in my research term paper for the adaptation of unified digital currency that could be used by the people around the world.
We assumed bitcoin and other crypto currency to be an innovation in the market system of the world but we can't disregard those people who still don't understand what bitcoin is, so that we can say that it is truly made for a successful innovation but rather others has a close minds that are not accepting too good ideas
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting With Nothing in Bitcoin on: October 14, 2018, 11:43:22 AM
To some,100-unit of bitcoin sounds like a big investment. To some, its a small investment.4 years ago, buying 100-unit of bitcoin was a small thing, but today is a huge investment and it's going to be higher in years to come. Below are some arguments on how one can start with nothing especially in cryto or digital currency system.

#1:Being born poor and financially uneducated does not mean you cannot become rich.very few people are born rich enough to buy 100-unit of bitcoin today. And no one is born smart enough to acquire, finance and manage 100-unit bitcoin by themselves.  In other words, not having any money or financial education isn't an excuse not to get started. Yet billions of people let the problem of not having money or enough education stop them from becoming rich. They fail to make the first step. And if they do take the first step and then fail, make a mistake, lose money, or run into problems,  many quit. That is why for billions of people, a 100-unit of bitcoin will always seem like a big investment or project bigger than their dreams.

#2: Start small and take baby steps : last year, my first investment in bitcoin was a $100.i was extremely nervous when took the first step.the investment grew up to $300-400 in a month, which I eventually lost all. But I didn't quit. After the lost, my eye opened to the entire blockchain system.i then realized that Bitcoin was not the only cryptocurrency in existence.i started with nothing as a bounty hunter and developed my I.Q on digital currency. Today I am a proud owner of some reasonable crypto. I strongly believe in the power of mind. Our  Minds are our most important form of leverage.

#3: Dream Big: Most of us know that a child must be allowed to dream. Thesame is true for adults. Our dreams keeps us rich, young, and fun. Investment and projects keeps us learning and growing instead of living below our means, we dream big, learn, and invest carefully in order to go beyond our means.
In conclusion, Today even in the richest country in the world, millions of educated, hardworking people are earning less even if they are paid more.
To make matters worse, because of a market crash, millions of educated, hardworking people think that investing is risky and to attain higher returns means you have to take on greater risks. There are only a few people who know that the key to leverage is Control, and the key to control is financial intelligence.
The good news is that the higher your financial intelligence, the more money you make without needing money. In this new capitalism, it is truly possible to make money for nothing.
Nothing?? Well in terms of physical and financial its ok to have nothing but with you as a person who wants to enter to crypto patience and hardwork is a must to gain profit and proof of work for you. We need to consider some internal aspects to have a successful interaction in the system
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is needed on: October 14, 2018, 09:51:46 AM
When you are still a newbie to this cryptocurrency world, it is better to take action and study the flow of its ecosystem and be prepared when you make an investment to avoid a profit loss. Don't make drastic move that you didn't prepare to it. Always make your own research first.
In anything and anywhere you'll go you must have knowledge on how to circulate undergo through the system. It is important to know the the transactions and other activities thats happening to be able for you to indicate transactions and works carefully and exactly.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: October 14, 2018, 02:54:19 AM
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
I think investing money, time and patience in crypto like bitcoin is not such a waste, earning a profit by bitcoin is a proof that bitcoin can be a valuable currency that has its own unique features. Patience is a must earning it because bitcoin can be mined through a huge number of time, and earning it by a proof of work needs a courageous eagerness to have a piece.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: October 13, 2018, 11:39:18 PM
Remember, this whole thing about crypto is largely decentralized, thus, there is no single authoritative body in control of the crypto market. Although there are few centralized platforms among crypto, the market is largely influenced by the efforts and influence of the users of crypto. How well sellers and buyers treat the coins on the market affect the performance of the market.

As what is stated crypto currency is decentralized thus theres no particular group or individual who runs the system but the users are the navigators who implemented several rules and regulations in order to have their cryptos unique and secured.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: October 13, 2018, 10:26:42 PM
Because to my knowledge there are several countries in southeast asia that have not legalized bitcoin. And what is our endeavor for bitcoin in southeast asia to be legal like any other country (which has legalized bitcoin).
Will the impact be positive or negative?
Well if bitcoin truly be legalized to the countries around the world there's no way for the southeast Asians to regret the new technology or the new existence of great currency. Innovation is a must so that if the number of countries that uses it becomes larger the asians will be forced to use it also to gain or follow trend
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Years From Now in Crypto? on: October 13, 2018, 09:31:32 PM
What would be your thoughts and prediction to what will happen in 5 years from now in Crypto?

Do you see higher values?

Do you see less projects?

Do you see a merger of many projects?

Tighter Regulation?

More acceptance?

Society in general?

As I see, crypto currency nowadays has been controversial it is regulated by some boards to analyze and study how it grow as big as it is  now. It think in the future  there's a chance of legalizing it but it will need quite some time for the others to accept and understand how it goes and what it is for
