I see a lot of optimism about bitcoin, which is understandable seeing the price recently.
But I have to admit I'm a little worried about the long term future of btc.
The major problems if the currency still haven't been dealt with. I see 2 major ones:
-Block size. Which makes the delay and fees of transaction rise very fast. Smaller transactions are more and more difficult to make.
-The centralization of the market. China got low cost electricity, which make them by far the most bitcoin mining capable.
-And maybe others that I'm not aware of.
Another thing: The Hard forks that are oddly getting much more frequent than before. (BCH, BTG, Segwitx2 etc...) It almost looks like "attacks" in order to divide us. Now called "airdrops" by the community. Even though they're supposed to solve some of the problems.
All in all, this makes me really worried about btc future. I've been a strong holder since 2014, and I made quite a lot of money with bitcoins, but I begin to doubt now, even though the price is crushing ATM. Please help me keeping faith. Or should I switch to another currency ? Really thinking about ETH recently.

possibly because the bitcoin price is unstable and makes microsoft frightened when the price drops and the selling price gets dropped, it will probably work together again when bitcoin is completely stabilized or maybe use other altcoin whose total supply is still high. |

By day trade I mean literally trading atleast 5 days of the week and by holder I mean holding coins for 3 months or MORE.....
I consider myself a little bit of both.
I try daily trading and it turns out daily trading is very risky when the price is too high you should not do daily trading because it will make you stuck at a very high price. I prefer long-term trading and make altcoin an investment I can count on. |

I am sure everyone is aware about the rise of altcoins like ETH and Litecoin so I just want to know expert's opinion whether to invest in bitcoin or altcoins as the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it ? Do you think these altcoins will survive and pump just like bitcoin or its better to stick to bitcoin ?
I choose altcoin because playing altcoin is cheap and does not have a very high risk of losses, while bitcoin is too high and has a very high risk when bitcoin prices collapse instantly you will be stuck at a high price and make you depressed. |

Hello I don’t understand I bought for 4000 Eur one hour ago of Ethereum when it was going up, it stayed around the 10-20%, it started to decrease 5 minutes ago so I sold it and now cex.io just gave me 3500eur for it... wtf...  The %came from me watching livecoinwatch.. I started 2017 broke and with a very low wage. My girlfriend also broke up with me in the beginning of the year.

This week, bitcoin's price gets low. Based on the article that i read, it says thats they cant trace the reason why its getting low. They said it might be because some used to hack and mine bitcoins. They also said that maybe it was because there are new cryptos.

Actually today I watched a video on facebook which is about spending bitcoin and gold in USA,it says it is difficult to spend bitcoin but some places are accepting bitcoins accepting as payment like supermarket,restaurants and some institutions.But no one accepting gold as payment then why still people says gold is better?

From one week ago, i saw the marketcap is decrease..So i would like to know your opinion that you are still trading or investing crypto currency in this time (Christmas time, new year time)...or you will withdraw cryto currency to usd and come back in Jan 2018.
