Exactly as the title states. I'm trying to make a channel that gets to the bare essentials of crypto currency, what it is, why it has value and why there are so many clones of it. I will get  into investment after getting into the basics. wallets, faucets and more. While there are things I promote the whole point is to do it in such a way that all boats rise. No Bit connect situations without prior warning. etc.

Most of what is happening is very easily explained. I really don't understand why people are panicking. You have wallstreet trying as hard as they can to make BTC seem like a self fulfilling prophecy. They have provided massive liquidity for the early investors, created futures contracts and have bought and now are exiting to possibly buy lower they want to kill this thing that allows people to go around them. Don't forget the whole BCC thing (I'm holding a few bags of that). Don't forget this random exchange news and the fact that the news in general have never been positive about it.

In order to properly mine bitcoin you need a massive custom built rig or a super expensive pre made miner. Either way it will draw massive amounts of electricity. One business I know of needs a direct line so that they don't have brown and black outs from one of their custom built rigs. You also need to ensure that you can A.) Support your rigs regardless of the price of the coin with some other kind of income or B.) Calculate that the price of Bitcoin will rise in order for you to pay your mining expenses. When you reach this stage it can get very intense. On the flip side, you can do very low scale non intensive mining for a small trickle of Bitcoin and that is a happy medium for the average home user on various sites. Either way good luck!

I find that there are a decent amount of women in bitcoin, but often I feel many are raised to be attracted to things that provide familiarity and comfort. Bitcoin unless they accidentally early invested usually does not provide those things. It is a newer technology. until recently it wasn't the easiest thing to spend. It does not translate into a nice lifestyle in the same way regular fiat money does without technical knowledge. Many authority figures in their lives call Bitcoin a bubble and scam anyway. The list of reasons could go on to even involve the dating sphere and things like that.

I was surprised by the fact that I realized within a year of jumping in I had a debit cart so i can literally spend my bitcoin anywhere. It's quite amazing to think that what was once a fringe currency can now be used to do anything from buy a cup of coffee to paying for rent at an apartment. By far i think my most favorite thing are all of the low risk actual start ups that allow you to earn interest in the coin that is slowly becoming more rare over time. I hope i see far more surprises form down the bend. I'm sure they will be positive ones.

We need to find a way to deal with this. I'm surprised honestly that it is such a large issue. I just wonder if there is a way without causing drama between mining factions. What if someone made a deal with a poorer country and placed a large mining farm in their country and helped pull them out of a downturn with it.

I was wondering what people think te effect of futures will be on BTC.

I honestly think that if it was used positively that it would helpt BTC as people would have a place to visit and buy, but in all honesty I just feel like those with tons of cash to throw around can actively manipulate the market now as they have massive liquidity. How can we overcome this? Should we be worrying?

I use the multiply sparringly and stay under $100 as it is a quick way to lose your BTC and I think it has a built in anti martingaling sensor to keep you from simply doubling and getting it back haha.

The BTC.BCH war is getting stupid. We have few voices of reason and with the coins fighting each other, it's a great way for people to lose their precious capital. How am I going to explain this to people i'm trying to convert to the coin? what happens if both ships sink because of this because honestly it's looking that way at the moment.

This is bonehead security 101 stuff, did you post this just to create FUD?

People are spreading fear and doubt so they can then turn around and put their own claws into the system either for more control or to try and break the system.
