Things to watch for:
1.) Withdrawals!!!(As long as these work, the site can continue to work).
2.) Apparently the domain expires on October 10th of 2025. (we're watching for domain activity/ renewal) If this happens, that's an amazing sign!
3.) Any direct communication of any kind can help us piece together the state of the site.

This is so dumb suggestion. Are you saying that you guys should wait until withdrawal is not available before finally stay away from this casino as if there’s no other alternative casino out there that offer much better services?

I’m not trying to be negative here but the lack of communication is the worst part that makes this casino red flag. You already mention that this casino was direct in communication before so that means there’s really someone wrong.

I’m not sure you guys keep holding on here while there’s better alternative that you don’t need to worry that your money will not be withdrawn in the future.

You missed the point of the post. If you read it....there is no suggestion to keep any BTC on there.

I merely was assessing the health of the site. The final recommendation applies to all Bitcoin investors.

"Only put in as much as you're willing to lose."

Full disclosure, i'm off the site but still making profit.

This is another reason I mentioned the English as a second language thing in there.
42  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 05, 2024, 03:51:55 AM
As a long time user of 7 years. I notice a few things about posts on this forum and would like to give some perspective.

Everyone has a voice here and this is a great place to voice concern. However, not all voices are created equally and you need to read between the lines a little.

Ex:
1.) Posters with 1-2 posts may have issues running the site because they simply don't know the site.
2.) Posters with 1-2 posts are sometimes the same posters who want the site to fail and give bad information.
3.) Some posters have English as a second language. I have no problem with this, things just get lost in translation.
3.) The site operates in subtly different ways depending on where you are. It tends to run the best in North America and Europe as it's in English.

Current news and updates:
(I'm curating based upon what the long time users are watching for.)

Good things!:
1.) The site in general as well as Withdrawals!!!, rewards, emails, FUN staking, and buying/ selling FUN are all working.
2.) We just received word that someone's ticket was "escalated" meaning someone's "home".
3.) If any major change happens, this site will light up like a christmas tree.

Worrying/ Bad things:
1.) Communication is terrible right now. Especially after years of direct communication.
2.) FUN withdrawal seems sluggish. (it may always have been)
3.) WoF Spins have been down for months. (May be price based)
4.) Australia has blocked the site. (Use a VPN)
5.) Movements in the hot and cold wallets. (very worrying from a fundamental crypto standpoint)
6.) Hashflare issues/ Server issues.

What I think:
Freebitco is a risky venture depending on which countries you service. Even speaking to users on this forum has the potential to catch out the owners and therefore the sites bitcoin. It may be the owners have retreated into their shell in order to continue keeping the site running while minimizing risk. If WoF and FUN is a casualty then so be it. Countries that are part of the 5 eyes have already broken international law in order to take down samurai wallet by shutting down the internet along a narrow longitude of the earth. There are many logical reasons why they may be quiet.

Do your due diligence and keep it simple. Just like any investor, only put on the site what you are willing to lose.

Feel free to poke me if you want to corroborate basic information about the site.

I wish you all the best as we head into Christmas in the middle of this bull run.
[This post was made to the best of my knowledge feel free to ask and correct for your situation]

I'm personally ok losing my FUN investment. What, i'll continue to make passive income on the site as long as possible. I won't keep a large balance in there sadly though.

Waiting since months for response, troubleshooting and compensation: No Spins, Premium Counter since months on day 57 at Premium Level 6... Now also the Lottery is out of order:

I just checked, it's the same for me. No one knows what's really going on with Freebitcoin, I believe a lot of people expect some compensation, but days/months go by and they owe the site's players more and more. I have a few FUN tokens locked up, I lost my balance a while ago, so all this doesn't bother me too much... It's a shame, Frebitcoin was really interesting to me, but it stopped being that a long time ago.
It's actually freebitco and not freebitcoin per say, if I understand correctly, freebitcoin is a different website unrelated with freebitco.

Anyways, that aside, you are right, like I did said in my previous post, we all should just withdraw our funds from this site and leave the site alone, freebitco have lived up it's life and fulfilled it's destiny, which was to on-board alot of people into bitcoin and crypto at large, they have done great on this assignment and I guess it's time for them a rest.

I am only disappointed because there are much more better and honorable ways to end something that started and have made a great impact in the crypto industry, it's a shame that this have to be the faith of freebitco if this is how it ends.

I wish they would have communicated.

I think things that could have affected them include everything from: changing laws, possible security breach(I initially spelled breath haha), maybe they were a part of the samurai wallet fiasco. The list goes on. It seems they needed to put distance betwen them and the site. the question is why.

New payment:

This email was sent to ****@*****.com because you have registered an account at FreeBitco.in. To unsubscribe from future payment notification emails, please opt-out here.

We have just sent a payment of 0.00100000 BTC to your bitcoin address ******.
Thank you to share that with us but what do you mean precisely? You have received a phishing mail or a weird e-mail while you didn't make any withdrawal request? If it's a regular withdrawal, it would be interesting to know how much time they took to verify your request and to send you your payment of 1mbtc.

I requested this payment as I regularly do every month. I roll every hour and have some referral earnings too

Thank you for the update. It's up to us OGs to verify as best we can the health of the site.

My opinion is that the site is either being ran in the shadows due to security, or it's on autopilot. If they were wanted for some reason. The authorities have been taking drastic measures to find hidden servers on or off VPNs lately. By cutting contact this would fall in line with high level security doctrine.

So far they are processing withdrawals if anyone was asking. If there is a time they don't, this forum will light up like a Christmas tree. The advice is still to sit and watch from the sidelines.

I was looking at the eth stake rewards. It can get reward from 1-4% depending on the amount. (4% is a custom contract that is made with a ton of ETH.) Freebitco has the amount needed. Essentially they would be able to support rewards indefinitely AND make profit on their casino. The trade off is that ETH is less secure. It's an interesting move though.
50  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 30, 2024, 02:31:20 AM
Wait. Are you saying that they sold BTC to buy ETH and/or FUN tokens? Or that it was withdrawn, since the difference between the $114M and $10M is very large. It could also be that they have a lot of bitcoin at addresses we don't know about, as bitcoin withdrawals, with all the delays and problems there are, are being processed, meaning that from somewhere they are being paid. The bad thing about this is how mysterious it all is, and that no one will show their face or give an official statement. I think they are holding the ship as long as they can until it can't hold on any longer and sinks.

We only know what we can see on the blockchain, because, despite their promises, FB hasn't provided a proof of funds in years.

-Way back they used to have a normal BTC cold wallet. TheQuin used to provide proof that they had control of that address (can't be fucked to search the exact post, if you dig in my posts you might find it). That address is now empty.
-Another user found a multichain portfolio that fit the amount of BTC FB claimed to have. That wallet used to have BTC (WBTC to be precise iirc). Some of those were then converted to interest bearing ETH, and then it was mostly emptied in July towards an address that I previously judged to be of of exchange. This address now holds 3.4M FUN of the supposedly 5.8M FUN tokens locked through the website.
-Right now we have no idea where the rest of the money is.
-They have a system of hot wallets that makes it hard to trivially check where the funds come from (I think I described the system in one of my previous posts, but again, I can't be bothered to look it up right now). But if someone has expertise into digging though the blockchain automatically it could be an easy enough thing to check. If anyone is interested I am happy to share what I know right now.

I previously had compiled a recap of recap, it seems like the situation hasn't changed much (except for the fact that WOF started to work again a ~month ago and then stopped again). You can look it up here:

There have been a few recaps of the situation so I present to you The Recap of Recaps:

I have no BTC on the site rn. I can't trust it as I used to.

Thank you for the update. I personally think that the base functionality is the only thing working. Which would be fine with better communication. It could be that the landscape of tracking owners and users of BTC sites has changed meaning they have to be silent. The site also said many times that they may suspend benefits if their model starts breaking/ leaking/ being unprofitable. This falls in line with the WOF being suspended. The thing that would break the site would be if the casino and withdrawals stopped working. Even interest can stop with the site still being up in good conscience, however, the owners said they would give a 30 day warning for any change in interest.

The beautiful part about Bitcoin is that it's much harder to co-opt as the supply side. Meaning, the hard ,money aspect side of BTC is pretty much on lock along with the cap of 21m. After distribution, the powers that be can deploy their derivatives to attempt to soften the cap, however it's much harder than say a precious metal where Mining, smelting, distribution, and sales can all be maipulated.

Once again an un enforceable ban that turns your brightest minds into criminals over night. Or maybe it's just a ploy to keep normal people out of the space as it becomes even more valuable.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Free Samurai Projects on: October 18, 2024, 03:31:27 AM
As you know, the founders of Samurai wallet are going to trial soon for writing code which is considered free speech. The gravity of this case and the consequences of the decision could be insane for Bitcoin holders. Basically depending on the mood of legislators. You having self custody of your bitcoin could be called a money transmitter and arrested in extreme cases, OR if your code is involved with the block chain and somehow moves enough BTC or crypto currency you could also be arrested.

There are sites raising money to attempt to defend Keonne Rodriguez and William Lonergan Hill by raising funds. I'm here to see what peoples thoughts on this are and I'm sharing links to some sites attempting to do something about this.

I didn't see anything wrong but don't forget to vet and protect yourself before possibly giving or diving further.

Cheers!

I checked tos aswell and I too think they have curacao licence. But wouldnt that make them have to put KYC, maybe they have problems with the law and thats causing the loss of WOF
TheQuin has said that Freebitco acquired a license to look more professional because old, three-line TOS was making them look amateur. They have also said that license adoption wouldn't affect the website in any way, which means that they would never ask for KYC documents. I know it sounds strange but that's what TheQuin said.

That is the risk when entrusting our assets to an online platform, yesterday they might be trusted but slowly there will be unexpected things that will ultimately be detrimental to investors.
Freebitco.in was the website that got many people introduced to Bitcoin. It's the website where probably most of us got their first Bitcoins. Years ago, they were giving away 1 Bitcoin every hour and also since they are one of the earliest adopters of Bitcoin, I assume their cold wallet is full of thousands of Bitcoins. Someone even posted an address of their wallet where some funds are stored but I can't find that post. If I remember correctly, they had one million USDT but I am not sure. If I find that post, I'll include that here.

You used to be able to look up their wallet on OXT.me. The problem is that the database was ran by samurai wallet and taken down. It was one of the best tools ever. I remember them having a healthy amount of BTC.

I just rolled and it was fine. Usually when the roller doesn't work. Refresh the page. Double check your VPN if you're on one. Usually it's not a Freebitco issue.

P.S. I gave you some merit. This was an interesting post. Enjoy!

hello dear bitcointalk members, please help, 10 months ago I was promised to help restore access to my account freebitcoin, but never solved, the letter with password reset did not come, then on the site it was written that wrong login, but I did not change the login, wallet (cryptonator) which I used closed and I can not provide the history of deposits, Quinn promised to help me, and then began to ignore, I have mail (login) papol and 2fa, the funds remained on the site, what to do I do not know, my hands are already down from such an attitude, my friend has the same problem 4 months ago, he says wrong login, how to restore my account, can someone pay attention to me please help to get justice.

I don't want to be a downer, but you really need to work on your password management especially in the Bitcoin space. That said, the site is in some kind of transition so you won't be hearing from customer service quickly. I recommend you keep trying old passwords.

I understand that people are worried about the WoF but remember. he burning question in my mind here is what is the health of the site overall. if if anything happens to the BTC then the alarms will really go off. So far that isn't happening.

If Wetsuit and thequin can't or don't feel ike posting that is on them, however a small update from time to time would help a ton. Also, some speculate this coud be them migrating due to changes in legislation etc. I'm still participating but with caution.
If for whatever reason, freebitco.in goes down now, there is really no alarms that are going off, freebitco doesnt have the user base like Binance where we could assume that their shutting down could lead to a mass selloff of bitcoin, thereby dragging the price of bitcoin down and as a result, making longer the time we expect the coming bull run to be 😁.

Freebitco doesnt even have an active user base that is close to what user base of Stake currently, so, trust me, if this site goes down, it's won't even remove a cent from the price of bitcoin at the time, maybe and maybe not, the price of fun token will be greatly affected, but not bitcoin.

Understand that my posts are completely about users approaching this forum expecting customer service. I don't think this will affect BTC that badly were anything to happen. However, the community would lose a realy nice way to stack sats and introduce people to the ecosystem. That's who and what i'm worried about. This has been one of the best and most trustworthy sites in the background allowing people to learn and enjoy the space. Again i'm hoping that they have someone simply check in with us every once in a while, or even better provide a new customer service portal.

As I pointed out a month ago, it is not broken, it is deliberately taken offline every time the price of FUN drops too low.
The reason that the WOF spins have worked this week for a couple of days is because the price of the FUN rose suddenly to 7 Sats for a few hours at a time, which (not) coincidentally caused people like me to get offered their daily WOF spins.

I do believe the WOF are being withheld intentionally and it is not a bug. Your theory about there being a price which triggers a pause in spins being credited is interesting but I think there is more to it. The FUN/BTC price was higher in early September, rounded to 7 sats on the site, and there was no spins credited on those days. In the final days of September they did begin crediting spins again, coinciding with a small increase, but when the price went back down to 6 sats they still continued crediting spins for a few more days.

This is the only theory that seems logical to me, I have no other explanation for turning WOF on / off.

I understand that people are worried about the WoF but remember. he burning question in my mind here is what is the health of the site overall. if if anything happens to the BTC then the alarms will really go off. So far that isn't happening.

I believe that Thequin is no longer pr for freebitco.in, that was said in this thread if I remember correctly.

Now the pr is CSFBC and this is link to his last post in August:
~

Again, most people will roll with the punches with some explanation. Unfortunately we are on the outside of that knowlege group.

Just to confirm, I made a personal fast withdrawal with no issues for beer money. So far so good. I recieved the BTC within 2 blocks which is typical.

Gensler is such a bitter man. He's tried so hard to get into the industry and never makes it. His bitterness has affected millions. He needs to be replaced to end his madness.
