1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects. on: Today at 08:26:47 AM
It's difficult to predict, but there's still significant risk involved because it's a meme coin. Moreover, the NFT era is almost coming to an end, and I'm convinced that meme coins won't be able to pick up the hype from NFTs. People tend to invest only when they hear about their friends making substantial profits, but the win rate for meme coins is very low. Instead of throwing money into something with slim odds, it's wiser to invest in the current top 10 altcoins like BNB or ETH.

If you decide to invest in this meme coin, treat it like gambling. Although it's not exactly gambling, it heavily relies on luck to generate significant profits.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: Today at 08:16:08 AM
I will favor Fulham in this match and I will look at the best odds to bet on Fulham winning.
Drawing from the reference of the previous match, Chelsea's (1) vs. (0) Brighton, I observed a modest improvement in Chelsea's offensive play. Despite Brighton's superior field possession, Chelsea is beginning to create more opportunities. This could potentially serve as a turning point and certainly boost Chelsea's morale, enabling them to play more freely.

Meanwhile, Fulham remains consistent with their victory over Norwich in the previous game. Both Chelsea and Fulham display somewhat similar, yet inconsistent, performances. I consider that in tomorrow's match, Chelsea holds a slight edge, but the likelihood of a draw remains significant.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: Today at 07:47:34 AM
Games like the one you mentioned are primarily for entertainment purposes. They may rely on luck or be operated by algorithms in most online casinos. They are suitable for playing when you feel that luck is on your side and you might make some money for the day.

However, there is a more serious aspect to card games and sports. One can apply strategy and careful consideration to make wise decisions. While luck still plays a role, the adrenaline rush experienced is quite distinct from playing slots or roulette.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: Today at 07:41:53 AM
I'm planning to sell my Bitcoin based on the amount of money I invested in acquiring it. Let me illustrate it this way:

Suppose I bought Bitcoin at a price of $20,000, and the amount I spent on it was $1,000 (so I have 0.05 BTC), and the target for the next bull run is $60,000. In this scenario, I will sell 0.017 BTC to secure my initial investment. The remaining 0.033 BTC will be used for speculative purposes in the BTC market, as it represents pure profit.

If Bitcoin soars higher, I'll sell 50% of it, or if Bitcoin experiences a dip again, at a reasonably lower price level, I'll reinvest with the profits I've made.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you deal with financial stress? on: Today at 07:35:08 AM
After the supertyphoon I decided to sell my silver coin collection to buy a new phone. Unfortunately, signal and the power source was unstable and when the time things went okay, I lost the chance to earn with my NFT games, the forum and other source of income due to inactivity.
How about your primary source of livelihood? Doesn't every region have its own primary occupations to ensure survival? It seems you've been grappling with prolonged electricity issues in your area, and of course, you can't earn income from the internet without power.

I'm confident that everyone in remote areas has some form of income source, perhaps through farming. However, given the challenges you've described, it seems your location is severely underserved by decent public services. I would personally prefer relocating to a better place, even if it means renting a residence.

At the very least, we could have access to well-maintained public facilities and continue to generate a decent income from various sources we can pursue.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin October Month Performance on: Today at 07:28:17 AM
Alongside the recent surge in volume, it's becoming evident that a wave of activity is on the horizon for Bitcoin. I'm confident that come October, we may witness a slight shake-up in Bitcoin's price. It has encountered resistance at the $27,200 level, indicating that the latest support point now stands at $26,000.

There are some upcoming news developments regarding Bitcoin, and I'm aiming for a price target of $29,000.
7  Local / Ekonomi, Politik, dan Budaya / Re: Mengenal UMR, UMP dan UMK on: Today at 07:18:36 AM

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Crypto to buy for 2024 ? on: September 28, 2023, 07:28:28 AM
ETH and BNB, both nearly identical in their business models, but ETH is renowned for its decentralization, while BNB is more centralized. Both are popular in the world of altcoins and rank among the top 4 altcoins according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Many here harbor aversions toward BNB due to its centralized consensus mechanism. However, who isn't familiar with CZ and his giant exchange, Binance? They possess strong fundamentals for project sustainability, making them a reasonable investment choice.

But if you still can't embrace the consensus method they employ, ETH might be the right choice for you. Perhaps neither of these coins can deliver x1000 returns in the near future like meme coins, but at least both of them hold stronger potential than speculating on coins with no fundamentals.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 28, 2023, 07:20:23 AM
In other matches, I also favor Brighton. But it turned out that Chelsea could beat Brighton in that match. Maybe me was unlucky in predicting matches in the EFL Cup.
Chelsea's victory, their first since the end of August, has been a long time coming for The Blues. The Carabao Cup may not hold the same prestige as the Premier League, and unfortunately, Chelsea paid a price for this win with Ben Chilwell's injury. Ben Chilwell's hamstring injury has been confirmed, adding to Chelsea's list of injured players.

This victory could serve as a turning point for Chelsea to achieve more wins, with the most hopeful outcome being an improvement in their performance in the Premier League.
10  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: September 28, 2023, 07:11:55 AM
Women are more disciplined to play than men who play gambling, just from my observation of what I watch in movies and even in the reality that is happening in our lives today. But now, from what I see, it seems like more and more women are promoting casino apps on social media platforms.

Especially on Facebook, you can see a lot of female influencers promoting their followers to gamble. It's like pretending that you won't lose when gambling because it's all about money.

Women have a greater allure to men, and therefore, endorsing women is more advantageous than endorsing men. As we know, many men enjoy gambling, so women are still needed to attract men to come and play at the advertised casinos.

In the realm of gambling, it is true that some women have an advantage in playing games. However, in terms of sheer percentage, there are more men than women.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price increase after halving? on: September 28, 2023, 07:02:27 AM
I think the price will increase after the halving. It sort of has to. If it doesn’t then billions of dollars in Bitcoin mining investments will become worthless and it could even cause a selling feedback loop that destroys Bitcoin. On the plus side, there is still plenty of money to prop up Bitcoin and keep investments profitable, as I believe wie will see.
Does this mean that the ATH (All-Time High) that occurs after each halving is intended to allow miners to sell their coins at a reasonable price? Does this imply it's a market manipulation specifically for miners to keep running nodes, rather than purely due to high demand and supply?

Looking at previous cycles, when ATH is reached, volatility becomes exceptionally high, making the price unstable.
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Google is 25 Today - What has been Your Experience ! on: September 28, 2023, 06:59:03 AM
*How long have you been using Google?
Since 2014, when I got my first computer at home, it's been 9 years of relying on Google as my primary search engine. I know Yahoo was around back then, but I've always been fond of Google's user interface for search.

*Do you prefer other search engines than Google lately and can you tell why? (If any)
I haven't really considered other search engines because I've been so accustomed to using Google all this time.

*Is there any improvement would you like to see in Google that you think are not included assuming it is possible?
I wish Google had AI that could handle more complex and rapid commands, like changing the background of a photo or generating images based on the words I type, as well as AI to enhance audio quality.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Inspired Me To Invest In Bitcoin. on: September 28, 2023, 06:52:34 AM
2. Investors like bitcoin because it's different from the traditional financial system that's controlled and regulated by the government of such a country. With bitcoin and crypto in general, transactions are outside the control of anyone, entity, organization, or person.
Its presence remains regulated in certain countries, but governments still struggle to control its circulation. Government regulations are also crucial to provide protection for new investors against fraud, as scammers continue to devise their own methods, using cryptocurrencies as a deceptive technique they employ.

As compensation, governments may consider imposing minor taxes on crypto users within their jurisdiction. Security measures and fraud prevention must continue to evolve to prevent further victims.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: September 28, 2023, 03:53:33 AM
When it comes to safety, I agree completely. However, when it comes to responsible gambling, it all truly depends on the extent of one's determination to exercise self-control. Even individuals who step into a casino sometimes have to maintain their composure to stay afloat. All the boundaries set can be shattered in an instant, and it often results in a gambler walking away with a substantial loss.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only good coins are listed on top exchange? on: September 28, 2023, 03:03:56 AM
In the end, it is coins with solid fundamentals and a strong community that will endure and gain acceptance on top exchanges without having to pay listing fees. Rushing to list on exchanges these days is often used as a marketing strategy to attract investors, but the reality is that the trading volume for most newly-launched coins is not substantial. Progress is still needed for these coins to grow and capture the attention of traders.

Listing fees on exchanges are another way for exchanges to generate revenue. This process should ideally be further scrutinized, as even scam coins can pay for listings.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Life lesson]Nothing is really free on: September 28, 2023, 02:47:31 AM
There are things of lesser value than engaging in faucet activities. Moreover, there are valuable lessons for those who manage to earn money through faucets. It is true that we cannot amass wealth through faucets, but recognizing your patience in pursuing something can be a valuable skill to apply to different concepts.

I used to seek earnings from faucets and consistently shared our progress and good faucet opportunities within the community. It marked my initial introduction to Bitcoin, and I have never forgotten it.

I played faucets simply to determine whether it was worthwhile or not. In the end, I had to seek something better than faucets but still related to Bitcoin.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Potential events that can initiate next bitcoin rally on: September 28, 2023, 02:40:32 AM
Reliable institutions and individuals announcing their Bitcoin purchases will also positively affect the Bitcoin price. The substances you mentioned will have effects, but we cannot predict the magnitude of these effects.

I think the first thing that will affect the market is institutions starting to buy Bitcoin. If something like this happens and institutions start announcing these purchases one after another, there will be a lot of impact and the price will rise.

In order for the substances we mentioned to be effective, the market must expand. A situation is needed that will make many people invest in Bitcoin again.
However, this is contingent on the extent of influence exerted by the individual or institution purchasing it. The repercussions are not a prolonged bull run; it's more akin to a pump. It's important to remember that anyone who buys Bitcoin will eventually sell it. If purchases by individuals or institutions are the catalyst for price increases, there will be a bearish market at some point.

The type of bull run that occurred aligns better with some of the points mentioned by the OP.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: September 28, 2023, 02:13:31 AM
In terms of work as an employee, women are always superior, but men always win in terms of logic and thinking. Entrepreneurs must have a good brain to think when they go there. while women are favored usually by their charming appearance. I believe their odds remain 50:50 and neither one dominates more than the other.
The reality is that men tend to assume greater responsibility for their work and families due to their role as breadwinners. Meanwhile, women are generally designed with physical attributes distinct from men. The productivity disparity between men and women is most pronounced at the employee level, where men typically exhibit better stamina than women.

However, in certain cases, women demonstrate more meticulous thinking than men. This implies that many women are better suited to work using their intellect rather than physical strength.

When it comes to high-level positions, it should ideally require men with mature logic and thinking processes. Yes, the world of employment and entrepreneurship has distinct roles for both men and women.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashing Out Thousands of Bitcoin on: September 28, 2023, 02:06:48 AM
I believe every country has a reasonable threshold for a balanced account to avoid arousing suspicion from local financial regulatory bodies. Banks may inquire about your occupation and estimate your income, but if the assets disclosed exceed $10 million, I believe it would draw the attention of the IRS.

Gradual withdrawals are a simpler way to steer clear of scrutiny. If you're earning your money legitimately, I think you should be able to explain it well, and there shouldn't be any grounds for legal repercussions during an audit.
