3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Jump out of the ship when it is sinking. on: December 15, 2018, 10:52:58 PM
BTC prices are falling continously. Investors in the waking should alert themselves and try to minimise losses by booking profit . If this trend continue for another six months perhaps the present prices will look like a nighmare and  it will be late ,moreover the predictions of lower level becoming true .If it is negative view or advise to follow ?
When the ship is sinking dont jump out, think and relax. There are some ways that you can use to stip the ship from sinking, dont be like others that will live the boat immediately. Just like in bitcoin, you must think before go to the other side.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security on: December 15, 2018, 10:38:45 PM
i am sorry to say this but it is the person's fault for losing money and there is nothing others can do for him. the warnings are there and we have been telling you not to trust ICOs since they are scams but you chose not to listen and give in to your greed.
you gambled and you lost. now learn from that mistake and move on trying not to repeat it again.
Yeah, you are right. Learn from your mistake, lots of people today didnt think what they will do they just go with the flow at the end, they regret on what they do, just dont regret yourself, think in a good way.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Kevin, here's my side. on: December 15, 2018, 10:29:09 PM
+ Mt Gox has clearly made several times more revenue (through trading fees) than this incident would cost them to completely absorb.

I have no idea if you are who you so you are. I also agree that it is highly improbably that a single user was storing so many bitcoins on mt gox. However, this statement is not true. You are claiming that Mt Gox has already made millions of dollars and could absorb this loss without going under and taking the entire bitcoin economy with them. I fail to see how Mt Gox being made insolvent and lots of people ending up with no cash is a better outcome than rolling back trades (which again, happens all the time). I agree that Mt Gox and all exchanges need to be more explicit about this in the future but I don't think they have a legal or ethical obligation to honor the trades.
Yeah, the story of you, Kevin is very fascinating. I hope that many people or bitcoin users will be inspired about your story and I think they can also be like you.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need bitcoin in the modern world? on: December 15, 2018, 10:19:09 PM
As a rule, citizens of Eastern countries and Europeans are interested in purchasing e-currency. For example, in Germany, you can legally buy real estate, paying the seller bitcoins. In Japan, you can have a good dinner in a restaurant, paying the bill with cryptocurrency. This is very convenient, because you do not need to have a lot of time and lose huge interest for the transaction. However, not everyone is in a hurry to spend their savings in this way, which are stored in the form of a digital currency. Most owners of bitcoins who buy coins from miners, deep down hope that the rate will rise unexpectedly and there will be an opportunity to sell crypto currency profitably. This is one way how to earn with bitcoins. Thus, many of those who bought the digital currency as soon as it began to gain popularity, were able to make a fortune.
We need bitcoin is this modern world, it is because human wants an instant things today and it is being part of their needs and wants so that bitcoin is a tool for an instant things to happen like paying bills and buying goods etc.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2018, 10:15:58 PM
Prices have been on a constant decline ever since this year began. There's been FUD all over the place, and governments have been cracking down on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, there have been several hacks which have also contributed to the decline in the value of the whole cryptocurrency market. As such, many people have lost their faith in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, as they've lost a lot of money.

Despite this, it seems that most holders would not give up on Bitcoin no matter what. But, if Bitcoin keeps declining in value until it becomes worthless, then long-time holders (like me) would become disillusioned. For those who want to protect their investment, there's the option to sell Bitcoin into USD or exchange it towards a stablecoin like Tether. However, even Tether has lost its peg (although in some occasions it heads back to $1) sometime this year, which means that not even stablecoins can be trusted.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon? Huh
No, it is not the end of the game for bitcoin. Although we can see and experience a not a good market right now, it is part of the bitcoins life in the virtual world and it will never change.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you measure the success of Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2018, 09:57:24 PM
I see a lot of obsession with price on these forums. In my opinion, price is a distraction from BTC becoming a success. I measure BTC success on ease of use, levels of adoption, and scalability. Along with decentralization, these should be our obsession.

I also think we should keep the original goals in mind. We need to undermine and even destroy the relationships banks have wirh governments. Let's not forget they are the engine of elitism.

I'd rather see $100 btc that is accepted by millions of retailers and is used regularly than a million doller BTC that is a false store of value.

How do you measure the success of BTC?
Yeah, lots of people are being obsessed because of the price of the bitcoin but at the end is it the way that bitcoin want to. You are right that ease of use, levels of adoption and scalability are the things that we can use to measure the success of bitcoin.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to use Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2018, 09:43:30 PM
all of us are here all of us want to use bitcoin especially now that its price is very low and now is the right time to buy bitcoin because of its low price if you want to make a big profit in the future.
I think using bitcoin is not easy and that is a lot of factors that you can be responsible for and using bitcoin is hard it's not easy to use my advice to be an ordinary person
The cartoon shows what really is the happening in our society today, because of the popularity of bitcoin, lots of people wants to have a bitcoin but not all are aware how to use it.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Christmas gifts this year, all my money in Bitcoin on: December 15, 2018, 09:41:12 PM
Your decision to choose to invest all your money in Bitcoin can be useful in the future, or you will spend Christmas with a little money, I salute your courage to take risks but maybe you have considered it, but I dare not risk all money by buying bitcoin, now maybe a good time to buy some bitcoin.
Although the market of bitcoin today is not as good as the market last year, I think you can still have a merry christmas not now but maybe a months from now.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Destroyed me at all. on: December 01, 2018, 11:25:26 PM
Bitcoin doesn't destroy you. If you can see the huge potential of Bitcoin in the future, then you can quietly hold your bitcoin, and don't pay attention to the recent price, you can temporarily forget it for a while.
Looking at the price every day is not good for you. Investment requires a process.
Yeah, you are right that bitcoin does not destroy anyone of us. We just experience some sudden down but it will be back to normal again, I can not wait the time that it will be back again to normal, and also you are right that investments requires a process that it takes a lot of process to enjoy and feel the increased of the proce of bitcoin.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Survey Shows 80% Of Americans Have Heard Of Bitcoin on: December 01, 2018, 11:05:59 PM
The survey gives us very positive results. This proves that Bitcoin in particular and virtual currency are generally popular with a country like the United States. This ratio is quite true for other normal countries, except those that are too backward. This survey shows that people are skeptical about Bitcoin's ability to be successful and stable, as they still believe that Bitcoin will be unlucky, and they still believe in using the flat.
But the thing is not all that 80% are using bitcoin. And maybe thry heard the bitcoin in different manner like if they heard the bad thinfs about bitcoin so that they will not use it. There are lots of possible to happen, but I think it is still a good news that there are lots of people today that are hearing some facts about bitcoin.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin in India on: December 01, 2018, 10:50:33 PM
No people in this world can stop bitcoin, it is here to stay and the digital currency is the future. The sooner the governments all over the world realize it the better for them. Cryptocurrency can be very beneficial for the economy for a country, so the governments don't want to miss this opportunity.

We all know that India is a poor country, sorry for the word, but all of us have a right to use cryptocurrency. So definitely, cryptos can help the India to have a better life and it can help the indian people to have a better way of living.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does it even matter if governments and banks accept cryptocurrency? on: December 01, 2018, 10:46:44 PM
There is buzz about the prospective of governments and banks accepting crypto or creating their own for its mass acceptance.

I don't think this is even worth acknowledging, as all of the present and future innovations are going to come from the private sector. Governments are just responsible for damage control, do a God-awful job for the most part and have never achieved true democracy.

In the past, people relied on governments and banks not because they're "governments" or "banks," but because they provided security.

Once AI, blockchain, and improved means to use crypto provide even better security than governments and banks ever could, whatever they do will be irrelevant.

I think it will be a win-win effects both to the cryptocurrency and the government, if government approved thr bitcoin, the economy of that country can be increased in a sense that we all know there are lots of people all over the world that using a bitcoin and other cryptos, on the other hand, bitcoin will also increased continuously because of the additional users of bitcoin.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all honesty, who still wants bitcoin to die? on: December 01, 2018, 10:44:01 PM
Before this plunge, a lot of people spreading FUD about bitcoin and how they want bitcoin to die and how obsolete bitcoin is. People saying  that this alt or that alt will replace bitcoin and that bitcoin is no longer King of crypto. Now, looking at CMC, as bitcoin values going down so are ALL altcoins. No shitcoins...I mean altcoins able to get through what's happening in the market not even BCH, XRP, XLM or any other alts able to get pass through the bear market. This is just a proof that all alts value depends on bitcoin value and  the influence of bitcoin to the whole crypto market. I'm very sure before bitcoin value turn to zero all alts turns to dust just like when Thanus snap his fingers and dusting happened.

So tell me, with all honesty, do you still wants bitcoin to die?

No, I think if you wish bitcoin to die then stop investing to bitcoin and live it, altough we all experiencing a not a good time in cryptocurrency there are a lots a downfall and downside on staying to it, but I am sure a months or a year from now cryptos will back again to normal.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This why you shouldn't be worried on: December 01, 2018, 10:41:16 PM
Thanks for this I was wondering why my image would not show. Great reminder to those who are not aware of the history of bitcoin to get used that this is not new and probably not the end but the beginning of a new cycle which by judging by the history of bitcoin itself, will bring a new all time high in the future.
Thanks for this, now I know that it also happen before that bitcoin also experience a totally downfall. It is a good reminder to all of us that bitcoin is not just about increasing price every year but also it experience a downside, and also this picture will help the new bitcoin users about some history of bitcoin, Thanks again.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto capable of making the world go digital? on: December 01, 2018, 10:25:34 PM
the world is already mostly digital and is moving towards becoming completely digital but none of it has anything to do with blockchain technology or cryptocurrencies. in fact the blockchain technology has a lot of potential but these are limited to certain areas, mainly a decentralized currency is the focus of the usage of this technology and not much else. in other areas this technology is not as good.
Yeah, you are right. Our world is now a digital world. To the way we live today compare a decades ago. We can see it in a way we do some things in our daily lives, in addition, I think tomorrow or in a next day, our world become fully a digital world and use only a digital gadgets and technologies.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token? on: December 01, 2018, 10:21:49 PM
i do not really care about them calling it Token,Precious Metal,Food or whatever.
sometimes they might be misspelled it because of lack of knowledge or differentiation in their view with us.
some of them think it was not a coin but instead it was a token or something like that.
for example look at that media and the publisher Jon Swartz,
based on his past article, seems like it was the first time he created this topic.
and i am really sure he told us that Bitcoin in form of 'Token' because of drama happened in the Chinese.
banning the ICOs based on Ethereum aka Token.

I agree with you, because of the lack of knowledge of one person sometimes they just naming it the way they know one object, so it is not a good idea on having lack of knowledge on something. Today, searching it on google is an easiest way to know bitcoin and other things, sometimes we need to use it to clarify something.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is worth more use of gold? on: December 01, 2018, 10:13:30 PM
I think in terms of the number of users/owners of Gold and bitcoin, that of bitcoin should be more. I take my analysis from the levels of people who use both.

For Gold, it is usually the wealthy's pride. Gold is mostly used by the rich who see it as a store of value and class. But, bitcoin is not a class commodity, every strata of human community, society and persons can have access to it.

The popularity of bitcoin is more because it also plays a dual role of store house for affluence and also for payment purposes.
I think we do not need to compare them to one another, because in the fact that gold and bitcoin have different use and value of each other. Gold can be use in part of aesthetics while bitcoin is being used online so that we can not just compare on that manner.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we still believe in Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2018, 10:10:17 PM
Yes I truly believe in cryptocurrency. We all know that the basic aim of everyone for participating in any investment market is to earn profits and there is nothing wrong in that. But a person should have some realistic goals. You can invest in something blindly and then expect your money to be doubled in a week. You should research and study properly and take every decision wisely.
We are still staying in bitcoin because we are still believing to it. We all know that today there are some problems that all cryptocurrency is facing off but I think it will end very soon and we are now feel the upcoming good effect of it soon.
