Oi nice , signatum is now listed on whattomine actively.

Even with the correct own algo skunkhash Cheesy , quite a big honor - thanks at the team for adding signatum and skunkhash!

huh?

Thanks for nothing.  Now every Tom, Dick and Harriet is scouring for the latest mod of ccminer.

My plan to mine this for the next 10 days at a 400-500 coin payout per day just got its ass kicked.  Now, the 1250 reward epoch will likely last 6 days if we are lucky and by then we get 150 coins per day.

Might be time to just pony up some Ethers and buy it outright.

Im getting 13.71 Mh/s on asus geforce gtx gaming strix 1060 6 gb  Huh Huh Huh
is it okey?

You should be doing better than that.  What miner are you using?  The skunkhash algorithm is new and miners seem to be improving constantly at least for now.

ccminer-2.2-skunk

Search around for the palginmod version of ccminer.  You will see a big improvement.  I would stay away from the krnlx 'strains'.  Something is up with those IMHO.

The new tpruvot one is good too

i found this one
github.com/palginpav/ccminer/releases/

is it good one
ty 4 held guys

Give that one a shot.  I think you end up getting 17-18 out of your 1060.

Are there any indicators that Signatum will rise in price. I am sorry but I am not really good at looking at charts. Maybe there might be indicators but I cannot see them. Can someone help me decide if it is right to invest on this coin. Thanks.

If someone had the brains to scrap all of the arithmetically scaled charts and use log scale... then I could read the chart.  Right now the only chart I have found is arithmetically based and, as such, it is useless.

On the arithmetic scale chart, it appears that SIGT headed into a 'descending wedge' after the last rally to 4000 or so.  If that IS the case, then we are starting to work free of that patter and that should mean a return to retest the highs in place before the last sell off.

But, I am guessing because it is not possible to see things accurately in anything but a log scale.

Now that is very well put, we got a pro here  Grin how big you invested jimbo? xD

Just been mining since 8/7.  It's sort of a hobby.  But I have been charting the S&P 500 every single day for the last 8 years.

I will think I am OK in saying this... if SIGT makes a solid run over 1300 then the short term bottom should be behind us.  That does not mean we do not test it again at some point, but it means it likely heads back to test 4000 first.  Bottoms almost never end up being tested just once.  Twice is common, as is three times.  But I think the cryto market might be too intense and heated for a third.  This would be the second test for SIGT since it inception.

Regardless, I told myself I was putting ETH mining on hold while I mined SIGT at least through block 60K.

This is a good thing for NOW...

whattomine.com is not showing the real relationship between SIGT mining and Ethash.  I would leave that alone.  We do NOT need more miners.

Fact is, when mining ETH with my Nvidia rigs, I get 297 Mh/s and at 8:15 pm that equates to 22.06 in revenue.

SIGT with the same cards give me 247 Mh/s.  That is 21.34 in revenue.  ETH is ahead 3.5% BUT whattomine shows ETH ahead by 33% - NOT 3.5%.

But, KEEP YOUR MOUTHS SHUT.  We do NOT NEED more MINERS.

OK - I take it back...

Those figures are for AMD miners.  Nvidia miners DO see SIGT in the #2 spot - dammit.

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 16, 2017, 01:00:28 PM
IF SIGT finds a bottom in valuation, the drama of the past few days will, in retrospect, be the best thing that happened for those that chose to keep on mining and/or accumulating.

I have been reading stock charts for over 2 decades.  The SIGT/BTC chart looks like about a thousand charts I have seen in the past.  A rapid rally in value - then a slow dissipation as that rally is met with the inevitable human desire to profit.

And the human behavior seen here - the bellicose crowing of naysayers, the wild-eyed optimists shouting 'to da moon' and the few people who just sort of yawn and say 'seen this movie too many times to count' - all the typical crowd of actors associated with any similar endeavor.

Meanwhile, back at the farm, SIGT continues to mine at profits only about 10% lower than the head of the pack.  Miners are being driven away, to some degree, and that means more elbow room in the dark digital recesses for people who simply choose to stick to their plan and press on.

Thanks to all FUD'ers.  You are giving me about 150-200 more coins per day than what I was getting before.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 16, 2017, 02:48:19 AM
Hi guys, I am new here. So much drama. I concentrate on mining.

I got couple of 1060 6g mining card and get 20mh on 1 card, is that normal ? what is the best put in power ?

20 is about the best you will do with a 1060.  Probably run it around 75% power.  The thing that is going to fail on your card is almost certainly going to be the fan(s).  Try to keep them around 50% speed but still keeping your GPU around 70c.  If you think about the effect of mechanical wear, it probably works like any other form of kinetic energy - based upon the square of the energy.  Ie., my guess is that a fan running at 50% will last four times longer than one running at 100%.

Not really totally sure on that, but what little I remember from physics seems to somewhat jive with that idea.

So much FUD surrounding this coin, if i thought a coin was a scam, or not legitimate, I wouldn't have time to comment, I would of just moved on to the next project, and never given it a second thought.  I wouldn't hang around the ANN thread of the coin I thought was a scam spreading FUD, as I would be busy on the coin I chose....unless.....wait......no...... it can not be....all this time it has been staring us in the face.............THE FUDDERS ARE INVESTED Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked  Grin Grin Grin
I hate scammers, that is why I take my time to post. If I were invested I would cheer it instead, don't you think?

You hate scammers...

I hate azzholes...

Can someone explain to me why this error occurs in my NVIDIA miner, I have 6 gpu 1060 6 gb.
It occurs when it is running several hours ... and then crashes with that error ... how can I fix it? ..

The skunkhash algo does not profit much from overclocking.  What very little you might gain is easily offset by downtime due to instability.

I think you need to pull your clocks back.  Some even claim slowing DOWN the memory clock is what they prefer.  Whatever you are running right now, cut the overclock in half and increase your power to slightly improve hashrate.  I got your exact same error when I was experimenting with clock speeds and pushed it too far.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 15, 2017, 03:14:51 PM
Nice improvement. What to expect out of 280x? Smiley

Not much, it's too old. Maybe the default miner can get 15-17 out of it.

If you can get 17 out of it on 75 watts then that makes it roughly a 1060.  My 1060's get between 22 and 23 on ETH, but in a 6 GPU rig, the hashrate is always around 16-17 on one or two cards when hashing skunk.

I would say it depends upon the power draw.

This is a collapse. this is the end. You need to go to Fiat urgently.

Sorry.  I actually don't have to do shit.  And that goes double for YOUR brand of shit.

brand of shit. The trend is rolling into shit. Bitcoin in heaven has a chance only now. Then it's too late.

All I have invested is some fairly cheap electricity.  That's it.  Never gonna get those electrons back anyway...

Also, Signatum twitter remains fully operational. It was a lie that it was taken down.

https://twitter.com/SigtOfficial

only fools fall for FUD bud, leave them to it imho.

Funny too... the hit hardly made a dent in the mining difficulty.  Doesn't look like too many people actually ran for the hills.  I am mining clear through to block 60K - minimum.  I am not counting BTC or dollars right now.  Only counting coins...

What are you using to mine?

Signed up for the beta program with cwigm.  Happy with that so far.  If not that, I recommend the palingmod version of ccminer.  There are other versions that SAY they get better hashrate and, when run, it LOOKS like they get more hashrate... but the palingmod version of ccminer seems to deliver more coins... even with a lower reported hash.  I sort of have a funny feeling about some of the ccminer mods.  Not sure they are necessarily what they are made out to be.

Typo... oops.  Palginmod  - https://github.com/palginpav/ccminer/releases/

Sorry about that.

Price is slowly recovering

And, as of 11:09 EDT, SIGT is again more profitable for Nvidia rigs than ETH...

So will someone explain what the fuck will happen right now?
I can't believe there are still so much people mining, at this price it's not profitable.

For the same hashing power... SIGT is right now about 87% as profitable as the ETH.

I am hashing it regardless.  Costing me 1.50 per day for 300-320 coins.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine - Cryptopia on: August 14, 2017, 04:20:01 AM
Can one of the developers please explain how Signatum's full Proof of Stake system will work after the 100,000th block?  So if we currently have our coins stored on Signatum wallet, after the 100,000th block, will we have the choice to move them into the "stake" category and earn 5% of staked coins?  Thanks.

I'm also curious to know (and excuse this if there's an obvious answer), but where does the 5% 'interest' on staked coins come from at this point, if no new coins are being mined?

Thanks.

Usually your wallet creates the block when it gets the stake reward and creates new coins.

Shall the wallet be kept open at all time and NOT encrypted to participate at the POS after bock 100 000?

Why is the website indicating
78,335,162
CURRENT SUPPLY
I see max value in faq being 137,500,000.
but the block number being 37165?

When is the estimated day for the block 100 000 ?

30,000 x 2500 = 75,000,000
30,000 x 1250 = 37,500,000
40,000 x 625 =  25,000,000

total                137,500,000

The first 30K blocks produced 2500 coins per block
30K - 60K will produce 1250 coins per block
The last 40K blocks make 625 per block

It all adds up just right.
