It always depends on what altcoins are you going to invest because not all of them are promising and pumping.
There are too many Altcoins that are just laying on the ground for a long time and only few of them are really pumping.
So, if you choose the best altcoins then today is  really the best time to invest while it's early and they're too cheap than tomorrow

I fully agree with your statement, crypto currency as a whole is manipulated by big players out there making the who space risky. Even in ICOs today, VCs are getting a huge bonuses and dump it all on Exchanges whilst the ICO participants who got  no bonus will get wrecked and will be forced to hold their tokens

This is not a great idea in terms of investing in icos, it will affect the general public if this kind of thing will be imposed. It's gonna limit the opportunity of everyone if ever

Most of the coins right now plunged from its peak last 2017. It's an inevitable scenario that surely gonna happen again in future because of the restrictions imposed in cryptocurrency as well as acceptance  in the side of government/Sec. But crypto will always gonna come back and gonna stand strong and for sure the last year's price will be out price maybe in 2019 or 2020 once everything is lined up

I also have some eth. All of the above. I get the eth from my side job. Ethereum can use in different ways even trafing because it paired on multiple currency and also in investment you can purchase token through eth. I never sell my eth. Can buy an ICO token. And I will never sell my eth until I get a lot of profit from it. Can be convertrd to out countries currency. Just like btc, I will wait for eth to rise and I will collect eth as much as I can. Ethereum seems everything use. I think I just use it to invest. I think eth will follow the footstep of btc. So I believe that we should invest more into eth and not only btc. You can invest into some other altcoins too.

OP you have no idea just how many people before you have claimed similar things, and praised xyz of other sh*tcoins.
This is just another rinse and repeat process that benefits only to devs and pump-n'-dumpers of the said coins, with little or no value or impact on the bitcoin.

i m holding mnx, sc, xrm, bcn, dgb, tnb, wpr, stroj, stq, mtc, ltc till year end and i m hoping for it's prices to meet the highest rank in the past history. furthermore, i have beared an irrepairable loss in all the above mentioned coins so from now on i have no plans to buy these in future unless the reality goes the other way round.

Monero is way more than anonymous as compare to bitcoin. That is why it is more appealing and in demand of dark web demographic. Monero is solid privacy coin which have track records of giving 15x profit. Monero have very active community and team that is why it should be in your portfolios as investment

Maybe it's just another problem that happen so i can be a more patience person. And i don't really expect to get rich instantly here though, i still think rationally, and i don't really mind waiting since i have a strong faith in bitcoin.

well for me, I do really think that investing to etherium at this moment is a good idea because the market value is still low and given that the market price of eth is expected to increase, profit will be then earned. The growth on the market value of etherium is continuous at a higher rate compared to other alts which is proportioanl with bitcoin's. As its market price is increasing profit is being earned by thr investors. So just invest and hold. The market value of etherium is expected to be more expensive this year.

It is true that the market is now how we want it to be, that is why you should not sell. As an investor, I would never sell my coins when prices are down. I did not invest in cryptos to make losses. It is best to hold the coins for now and make sure they are safe. Once the market starts to recover, the price of the token will be better and at that point you can start thinking about selling.

All options above is the common and the easiest ways to earn alts but if you're asking which method where you can obtain altcoin everyday i think doing trading is the specific method to earn alt coin everydays which is day trading manner, because joining airdrop and bounty you need to wait after ICO. perhaps  1-2 months before you receive the payment but it depends 'cause sometimes zero due to some scam project nowadays,  so much better to do a day trading if want to earn alts everyday.

Like everyone else is saying, Many governments trying to find ways to regulate or ban BTC (Chine, Korea, and US partly). Not to mention the entire Bitconnect platform collapsing on it's investors. Many people are just wanting to cash out any and all possible gains they have made at this point by panic selling. The price of BTC is far too high for it's purpose at this point and those invested over 1m at the beginning of last year can literally dip the market into red, all it takes is a few more of those kinds of investors to follow and some FUD and we get a flash crash.

It is common that the prices go down and I think that is a good opportunity to buy some more.
When the coins are going to move up you are going to gain more.
As it was mentioned here before, trading needs strong nerves, and day trading is not for anyone (not for me).
The best is to hold and have patience.
Prices will eventually move up.

Base on my little understanding and experience in the crypto world, it’s absolutely not ideal for someone to sell while at lost even in the real market. It’s obvious that all the bad news around were causing commotion in market these days. Holding till everything would balance and sell while in profit is the best. I mostly see the new ICOs from the ads that usually are in the forum ad, website ad, articles, retweets, ico-alerts website which lists the new ICO and some of them review them, and if the review is good it motivates me to invest? no, it motivates me to start reading and researching about that project, checking their whitepaper, roadmap, what are the team members behind the project, what experience do they have and are they trusted if they are known for the public. Some people may hate the signatures in the forum but to be honest it helps spreading the word of a project and I do click in signatures if I see something interesting.
