Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich

Definitely true because bank is just an entity where you secure your money. But in the name of earning a profit from what you have deposited is not guaranteed. Investing is the only for your money to give you profit that can even make you a millionaire.
I agree , just keep an emergency fund on the bank so you can always pay your stuff and you don't have to worry. But once you have decent amounts of money investing pays of really well , just pick some secure funds stocks and maybe some more risky things like bitcoin. This way you will earn some passive income , invest what you gain again and you are starting to make money,

I think it could happen but we need to be very careful with such a thing , this will mean that probably all your financial info will be tracked. Privacy coins will be banned by governments and there will be back doors on your phone for the government to check your data. Cash is such an important thing and i think most people fail to see that , they just want bitcoin to succeed without thinking about the consequences.

You can't outright ban something because some people use it to scam , this way you could ban a lot of things. In the first place people need to be way more careful where they invest their money , and even if you did that you can get burned. That is also part of the risk of investing in crypto.

Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and AI will improve the world economy
|
on: April 27, 2018, 07:06:03 PM

Ai will only improve the world economy if it is used in the right way , else it will only benefit the rich. If it is used to give ''poor'' people a higher income and less work it will benefit the world. If it will be used to just fire everyone doing these jobs and replace them with AI and none of that money is invested in the people then it will become a bad thing.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits?
|
on: April 26, 2018, 06:08:05 PM

I think we will only see more manipulation if this happens , if the banks will profit of bitcoin going up are down then they are gonna make sure that is what happens. Like someone said above , this defeats one of the reasons why bitcoin was invented in the first place. So maybe they will offer it in the future but my hope is as a community we stay away from it.

Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in BTC vs Invest in Real Estate?

It are both totally different markets , one is secure and proven and the other is highly volatile and just a couple of years old. So there is now way to compare it , people will always need houses to live in. But you don't know if they will always have to use cryptocurrency. So your best bet would be to invest in both.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The largest ICO on the planet ever. Still ongoing.

on: April 21, 2018, 06:59:44 PM

Yeah Eos is one of the best ICO ever. The huge amount they collect is awesome.the price is also going high. The project have a great point of view but still, they don't have any working Popular product.Still testing things. And I think eos will be a very big company that can compete with big tech giants like Microsoft google or anything.REcently the airdrop announced so price go a little bit high.Waiting for EOS to go to Moon.Lets see.
There is no way that they need such an amount of money , google and Microsoft certainly didn't start with that much capital. There are some shady people involved with EOS,just google Pierce Brock and you know enough to not get involved in this shitshow.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people have no faith in ICO's?
|
on: April 21, 2018, 06:56:23 PM
|
Maybe they do not have full knowledge about ICO, they think it is very risky. In fact, ICO is a new form of investment, with potential for investors, it is technology projects to develop different products to make a profit. However, many ICO projects have recently scammed investors, they take advantage of everyone's trust to do bad things. Besides there are many ICOs that have not been able to develop successfully as they have promised people. I think it is these things that make people have no faith in ICO's
I agree , ICO's got a really bad name because a lot of people scammed with it. So when people see ICO now they will instantly refuse it, but they forget that there came a lot of solid projects out of ICO's. I think if you just do your reserach and know what you are doing it can be profitable to invest in ICO's.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub has started accepting crypto
|
on: April 20, 2018, 07:00:03 PM

It's no big deal. Actually I do not agree with Verge's cooperation in the porn business world, although there is still little competition for this. I think this is not the right step to boost consumers in the market, because of course need to re-research, how many people still pay to see porn? is there no alternative business in other things that can be as cooperation option?
You are right , this is more of a marketing gimmick then that it is a real partnership. I believe the biggest winner in this is pornhub and not crypto/verge.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your trading plan?
|
on: April 20, 2018, 06:54:06 PM

I only trade long-term , i like to find projects that i think are undervalued and invest in them. I set a price in my mind for what i would like to sell and sell at that point taking my profits. And repeat this on a new project, sometimes i works out and sometimes i doesn't.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin private , Next bitcoin cash???
|
on: April 19, 2018, 02:36:39 PM

I totally don't believe in Bitcoin Private. If community needs privacy functions, they will be implemented in the original Bitcoin. I think that the time of forks have passed - in December 2017 we had so many of them, and nobody survived (except Bitcoin Diamond). More technology, more platforms, more infrustructure is what we need now, more scalability solutions and not another forks.
It is also important to take into account that governments seem to dislike the privacy coins. That in theory should enable users to buy/sell things anonymously trough the internet, so i don't know if the privacy way is the way to go.
