Hey guys, Even CBS's Showtime channel is mining cryptos through customers browsers right now without you knowing or splitting the coins with the customer. https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/09/25/showtime_hit_with_coinmining_script/The need for a more secure and private system is real as ever, i wonder who is gonna be the next big E-corp to mine cryptos through customers while also spying on them that gets caught red handed. Wish a great week to all. Go Kore, Go BTC. I wonder if code hive works in a tor browser

Happy Sunday Kore community. Hope everyone had a great week. There's a rumor floating around that Amazon will start accepting BTC. Possible announcement in October. The value of all cryptocurrencies will soon be realized by the world and as soon as that happens, people will naturally awant private and secure alternatives to BTC. I see great things in our future with Kore. Sentacks, Here's an article about that https://cointelegraph.com/news/unverified-rumor-circulating-that-amazon-may-accept-bitcoin-by-october

Wow that's interesting. I know that people object to fingerprint or face recognition security for privacy reasons. Where to folks find the sweet spot for security and privacy?

This is really exciting news. Kore CTO will be speaking at a conference, https://www.bitcoinsuperconference.com/, that features Charlie Shrem and Erik Voorhees. Also a Kore ATM!! All in the great state of Texas

Thanks XQN community. I got my first stake today. My weight is going up slowly but surely. Hopefully I will be up to full speed soon!
Great to hear! How did you find the wallet setup process? Was there anything that you feel could have been documented better?

Great. I did that So am I correct in understanding that the coins take 30 days to mature before staking begins?
Hi AceOfPentacles, I don't have an official answer but I recall mine starting to stake after a couple days.

Morning all!
A no hat policy? That's ridiculous.
Honestly, I haven't been inside of a branch in a while. I guess a lot has changed.

I wonder how much less energy consumption the PI has vs standard laptop for Kore coin staking. Anyone know where I can find some info on this?
I think there are forum channels for pi. Do a search I'm sure others have noted how many wallets use what hardware. You need to consider the amount of coins, in how many addresses, and how individual wallets stake. KORE uses near the least resources of all my staking wallets. I wonder if there is some kind of task manager/system monitor for a pi... MikeMike Good question Out of the box you can rpc or ssh into them with a little configduration. I will have to look and see what kind of tools have been built on that
