1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Latest Cryptsy Additions, News and announcements on: October 18, 2013, 07:07:37 PM

Tomorrow we make the migration to our new data center with our own servers. This is a significant upgrade from our previous hosted servers. After this migration we will proceed with some much anticipated and promised features. Enjoy!

In the following weeks:
  • New site theme making Cryptsy more web 2.0
  • Cryptsy Codes and BTC-e Codes
  • Copy to Clipboard for Addresses
  • Check All/None button for Hide Markets in Settings
  • Autosell Updates - Add options for Min/Max & Top Sell vs Immediate Dump
  • Ripple Markets
  • Chat Upgrades
  • SMS and Email Triggers
  • Escrow Service

i would love to see a drop down menu on the main page that users can add quick links to, or at the very least a quick list of deposit addresses. wading through the sea of addresses to find one is mind numbing

Great Idea Ill put it on the requested features sheet for vern.

Is there a paging mechanism for the "mytrades" and "allmytrades" API calls?  I need a way to download all of my trades preferably without busy polling.  Most other API's use some form of a "since" parameter.  Is there something undocumented or something I am overlooking?

I would recommend a support ticket rather then the forum.

1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Official] Cryptsy Delisting Poll on: October 14, 2013, 01:17:32 PM
today I managed to get my first cryptsy chat bans after asking bitjohn a load of questions about bribes for adding coins and about whey they don't clear up the exchange

You got a chat ban for going on and on how IFC, ADT and PYC were better than other coins and then at the same time telling us we should remove more coins I asked you to stop you just keep yammering on so you get a time out. Again people dont care about chat bans you would have gotten one 40x faster on other exchanges but after a while it gets old so you get a timeout.
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc-e adds primecoin and breaks cryptsy on: October 13, 2013, 09:53:56 PM
Why are you so ignorant?  Roll Eyes

BCX must be tired...
After a long day cleaning up the internet.

Cryptsy is fucking RoadKill...
And BCT-e is shitting fat Russian bricks.

MCX is doing 10 times the volume of the legacy Cryptsy exchange...
And will blow past BCT-e this week with the 45% mcxFEE share release.

XPM did 3,000 BTC on MCX today vs 900 on BTC-e...
May Sunny thank RS for the 7 handle...
For the first time LTC is in real danger of falling into 3rd place within a few months.

http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/markets/info

Legacy Cryptsy? MCXnow is older than Cryptsy. Sure we have had some major lag lately but the new data center is almost complete and things will be back on track. As far as more volume? I don't think you have a stat to back that up. MCX, BTC-e and us compliment each other its not really competition as arbitrage is good for the exchanges and all three benefit from it.
1007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Official] Cryptsy Delisting Poll on: October 13, 2013, 03:54:27 PM

1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Official] Cryptsy Delisting Poll on: October 13, 2013, 02:51:08 AM
CL, cause noone likes Russian premines or Russians in general

Again pretty new and traded elsewhere also everyone likes arbitrage.
1010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Official] Cryptsy Delisting Poll on: October 13, 2013, 02:50:21 AM
Sure.

What are some other coins that are kind of dead right now? How about Elacoin?

elacoin should probably make the poll.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Official] Cryptsy Delisting Poll on: October 13, 2013, 02:43:07 AM

Paycoin is pretty new lets try to pick ones that haven't just hit the exchange Smiley
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [Official] Cryptsy Delisting Poll on: October 13, 2013, 02:28:19 AM
I liked the listing poll so much which coin is just plain broken....and needs to go? Here is your chance pick one that you don't like and list the reasons if a coin has valid arguments I will then create a poll listing the coins that had the best arguments for removing them. Again the poll will open after we have a list of coins with valid reasons to be considered.

Things not to put....
"Why did he pick my favorite coin?" I will delete these
"Die Shitcoin die!" I will delete these
"I hate all coins but CAPS!" I will delete these
"Whats the weather going to be Wednesday?" I don't know
"Why isn't the coin I hate mos in the list?"

The coin/s that win this poll, I suspect, will depend on which coin forum can round up the most supporters to vote

They should also provide a nice detailed breakdown if they want a good shot.

That is because it creates an order now doesn't sell into the sell orders. The fee you speak of is actually a deterrent intentionally made to lower the amount of auto sells and to cover the new hardware that the larger number of transactions required. So if you choose an option that isn't guaranteed to sell it will obviously not guarantee that someone will buy it. In your case what is likely happening is an order mostly filled or someone bought ahead of you leaving your auto sell order unfilled Ill talk to vern and see if we can tweak it a bit. The fee covers the cost of resources required to allow the service.

As far as a ticker goes absolutely a good candidate probably could have had this looked at a while ago.
