I see someone beat me to it, but welcome to Cryptsy. Don't forget you can sponsor Shift in the top banner of the page https://www.cryptsy.com/coinsponsors.

Happy Trading!

Thanks so much John!!!

EUR and Canadian withdrawals are not working. When clicking the links, for example https://www.cryptsy.com/users/withdrawfiat/277 all people see is a blank page. Were they ever?

What is going on? If there is a problem, at least inform the costumers and display a clear warning message instead of a blank page. This is not a very good way to hold clients or propagate positive PR.

When can we expect the withdrawals to be working?

We are having issues with maintaining a bank that will allow us to transmit EURO back. Money Transmitter rules. We are working on finding a solution daily.

145  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Official] Mintsy.co Thread **SHA contracts 150% more hash same price!!! RETRO** on: September 15, 2015, 08:54:57 PM
So this whole ordeal is out of my hands since I have limited involvement with the business side of Mintsy, but I thought I would update folks with what I know especially since I promoted it in its early stages. Mintsy is a standalone joint venture between Cryptsy, and DigitalBTC.

Cryptsy was to provide the development DigitalBTC the mining, and hashrate. Without discussing the legal side of this they pulled out the the deal rather abruptly. Leaving everyone in a lurch. I know Paul who is still on the board of directors for Mintsy is trying to find another partner/provider, and then find a way to refund or recover lost work for those that had contracts.

I did find this article and I can only assume it may be related.
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/digitalbtc-reports-6-77-million-first-year-net-loss-management-nonetheless-bullish/

About all I know at this time. If I can find out more I will post it.

Be nice if there was a bit more transparency then. Mintsy.co is still signing up new people, there is zero indication of any issues on the front page and I've been told refunds are not an option. To me looks an awful lot like a scam that took several hundred dollars from me and many others I'm sure.

I asked about the new signups you cant actually buy a contract at this time. Still no word on a new provider since DigitalBTC pulled out of Mintsy. Has anyone written to DigitalBTC?

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptsy BTC/CAD, BTC/EUR, USD/CAD, USD/EUR markets! on: September 09, 2015, 05:34:24 AM
Is it possible to directly withdraw my usd/euro balance to my Non-Us bank account .If it's possible what's the fees? .

Be aware of that scammers. I am trying to withdraw since the begin of July and they only reply me to wait till they solve he issue. I am afraid of the worst = bankruptcy.
You can withdraw USD only through sucking USDtether (which might be another scum) you cannot send your usd anywhere directly to the bank.
I dont know how it was in the beginning but now its bad.

In the beginning I wanted to try their USD market and sold several bitcoins. Then I sold everytime when the rate was higher, but this week Cryptsy has BTC price in USD +20 USd higher. Its strange. They show 30or even 60 BTC volume in 24 hours however I am watching it night and day and orders are very small like 0.5 USd. Its funny. Then suddenly someone make one big trade probably within their own account and notning happens another 24 hours.
But now I am stuck with thousands of USD which cannot be withdrawn and which cannot be spend because with a thousand of USD you would wipe out all orders and you would have to buy BTC for $1000. You cannot buy abything their LTC or DASh market is even thinner.
I was stupid that I didnot notice sooner that something is wrong. I was foolish I hoped that their volume must go up, I was used to from bitstamp that you can sold 100 BTC instantly without problems. But look at discussions around, nobody is able to get USD out of cryptsy. I wish it didnot become another MTgox. But we all know that all btc exchanges were hacked and finished finally. From the old days only bitstamp, BTCe and cryptsy are still alive. All other are gone. now it seems unfortunately cryptsy is sinking.

Why don you withdraw USDT?... i have tried to do this but my withdraws are stuck too... opened a support ticket yesterday, still no answer, I will report back if I manage to take my money out somehow!

Pm me a ticket # you shouldn't be having these issues.
148  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: September 09, 2015, 05:24:27 AM
Interesting. Ever since Cryptsy's involvement with Joshua Garza and the Paycoin scam I have 100% not used their service and recommend everybody else not to even consider doing business with them. The fact that an issue like this is even on a forum is absolutely unacceptable in a business standpoint and they're the only ones to blame. OP has multiple layered security that would keep any account safe even if they were hacked and sniffed for credentials. The fact that he has a password encrypting and saving service makes it impossible to forget his password. So somehow in a day his password became unusable with no records of any password change on the system? This is either a direct hack on cryptsy servers or more fraud (which they have proven themselves capable of by dealing with Mr. Garza). Which one do you think is worse?

Really Paycoin? We listed Paycoin like all the other exchanges, and accepter a prime controller post Garza. Which we never profited from nor used...

Again no clue how the user lost his password. Again his funds are nice, and safe in his account. Again all he has to do is RESET his password, and withdraw his funds. For some odd reason he refuses to do so.....
149  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: September 08, 2015, 11:20:24 PM
Hi all. To respond to the most important of your replies and say a few things.

1) See for yourself. Try to withdraw your coins(not just a small withdraw), but full. See what happens.

We have withdraws going out all the time. This isn't a held withdraw its a user account access problem, and I have told you the solution reset your password. There is only one possible reason I can imagine why you would do that, and that would be if you are not the owner of the email associated with the account.

2) BitJohn is LYING THROUGH HIS TEETH. Don't believe him for a second.

Quote
1. Cryptsy cant change your password they have no way to do so only users can.

ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL LIE. STRAIGHT UP LIE, WILL BE PROVEN BEFORE THE COURT. Smiley

Our admin interface is intentionally setup so only you can reset your password. If any agent could do that then it would be a horrible security issue
To the community: use Lastpass and take Screenshots of everything  Smiley  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

The idea that I "forgot" my password between Sept 1 and my Sept login attempt is laughable. I use Lastpass, and also have it written offline. My lastpass data(which will be presented in court) will prove that the exact same password was used on Sept 1 to login successfully, and Sept 2 to log in unsuccessfully. Also, you locked me out of all my other accounts with a "Bad password" message......facepalm.

And when I asked about the changed password/account activity/login in formation for Sept 2, I repeatedly get stonewalled.
I was then told there was NO RECORD of the Sept 2 login attempt, which again, I have absolute proof of in the form of the auto-emails from Cryptsy which I saved.

Ill have the developers run another query

BitJohn won't admit that the password was changed sometime after Sept 1 but before my Sept 2 login attempt.

There is nothing showing that your password has changed at anytime actually

And, DRUMROLL:
BitJohn won't say up front what info is required to change a password(because they change it for each person, they keep asking for info until they find a single piece you can't give).

Its like two steps..... You click reset password and it emails you....

BitJohn: Address my accusation that records on my account were deleted from your system on Sept 2? Because I was told by you that you only Have login attempts for Sept 1, then Sept 4. Destruction of evidence.

I had the developers run a scan and it showed a successful login on the first and failed logins after.

BitJohn now claims they can't send me $ without me logging in. THATS B/C MY CRYPTO HAS (With 90% certainty- the other possibility is that the allow me to login but everything is locked, but that's not likely since their string of lies is going to have to get more and more absurd as they explain why my withdraws and trading are still blocked-Hence I'm asking for them to send me my coins to the addresses posted. BitJohn saying they can't? Again, a LIE)ALREADY BEEN STOLEN OUT OF THE ACCOUNT AND THEY REFUSE TO CONFIRM OR DENY THIS. CRYPTSY STAFF IS THE ONLY ENTITY ABLE/AUTHORIZED TO REMOVE 3, 2FA OPTIONS FROM AN ACCOUNT WHILE THEY WERE FIELDING MY SUPPORT TICKET, TELLING ME THE REASON i COULDN'T LOG IN IS BECAUSE I WASNT USING THE WHITELISTED IP(I WAS).

No we wont process a withdraw if you wont login to your account to process it.

Again all of your funds are in your account reset your password they are still happily waiting for you to withdraw at any time you please.

First, the reason they told me for not being able to login was that I wasn't entering a captcha correctly!(The  Sept 2 login had no captcha, just UN an PW. The second reason they told me for not being able to login: they said I wasn't using the whitelisted IP!!!!!!!!! (I was, now since I've caught them, they are saying I "forgot" the password...)BITJOHN: ADDRESS THE FACT YOU LIED TO ME ABOUT WHY i WAS HAVING LOGIN PROBLEMS AS DESCRIBED IN THIS PARAGRAPH.!!!!

Discussions you had with prior tiers of support was all agents trying to resolve your issue which led to us suggesting you reset your password....

And again, BitJohn is lying about his point #1, of course Cryptsy can change passwords. Are you kidding me? REFUND MY MONEY

Again why would we want an admin panel where anyone can change any users passwords? Don't you think that having 15 agents have access to such a feature in the BTC world would be a bad idea?

The only thing I am addressing is the OP's accusation not his account information.
151  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: September 08, 2015, 01:59:55 PM
This user refuses to reset his password in order to regain control of his account. If he just does a simple password reset he would have had his coins forever ago.

1. Cryptsy cant change your password they have no way to do so only users can.
2. User not wanting to do a password change generally means to me they don't control the account and cannot reset it.

So as soon as he resets his password he will have his coins its really pretty simple. He just refuses to do so, and refuses to acknowledge the fact that he forgot his password.

If this is true, then the OP seems fishy if he can't simply reset his password. I'd love to see his response to this.

The thing is I honestly believe he is who he says he is. I just think he forgot his password its never been changed, but like I said our system doesnt allow us to force a password change.

As far as his accusations about changing security on his account. He had a whitelist IP that we removed as a potential issue. The whitelist IP doesn't prevent other ips from using an account it just ensures that certain IP's don't get blocked due to high API activity.

We wont send him his DASH to an address manually because our system also doesn't allow this. Only users can withdraw users funds.

So like I told the OP in numerous tickets do a password reset. Wait the mandatory password change 24 hours and withdraw your funds.

154  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which Bitcoin Exchange do you use and why ? on: May 16, 2015, 03:07:08 PM
Use Cryptsy we just celebrated our 3rd Birthday, and still going strong! You can buy numerous altcoins as well as Bitcoin.

sometimes deposits are too slow there(and withdrawals too), it's that fixed already? because despite this there is a huge volume which make cryptsy an interesting exchange for moving big amount

If your verified you have way less delay in moving your coin in and out. Most deposit and withdraw delays are security and compliance flags kicking in.
155  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Official] Mintsy.co Thread **SHA contracts 150% more hash same price!!! RETRO** on: May 16, 2015, 03:03:00 PM
I bought a scrypt cloud miner from mintsy and sadly a Lot of External sites I point at do not function at all.  suprnova, nicehash/westhash etc.  So I went and just pointed at their own servers and so far so good there.  Just wish I could point the miner at different altcoins than mintsy has listed.  Pretty much when I figured out that issue I have just had the miner pointed at Litecoin in hopes that I will come out ahead of what I spent.

Have you tried the iSpace pools? Just curious. There seems to be a pretty large list of external pools that don't work. It might make sense to restrict or disable this functionality until the proxy is functioning as it should.

I have put a group of testers on some of the pools mentioned. If you have a list of pools beyond what is posted already that you want me to figure out why its not mining list them here and we will see what the issue is. I am currently using multipool.us which is working with my contracts.
156  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Official] Mintsy.co Thread **SHA contracts 150% more hash same price!!! RETRO** on: May 15, 2015, 11:32:46 AM
2. The current system is unfair to rig owners. There's no way to communicate with the renter, and in multiple instances, we've had a renter pick a bad pool. Then we get dinged with the fee, and the lost mining time. Per Mintsy policy, the decision to refund is based 100% on hash rate. In a system where owner and renter can communicate, we can provide support to ensure the renter is mining.
I like the way MRR handles this scenario.  If the renter's pool goes offline, or fails, and the renter doesn't have a backup, MRR effectively looks dead to your gear.  Your gear then fails over to whatever pools you've setup as backups so you as the rig owner don't lose any time.

For example, I've got my rigs setup like this:

pool 1 - stratum+tcp://us-east01.miningrigrentals.com:3333#xnsub
pool 2 - stratum+tcp://us-central01.miningrigrentals.com:3333#xnsub
pool 3 - stratum+tcp://104.131.12.128:9332

So, if a renter screws up, my gear fails over to my p2pool node.

@BitJohn, setting up something similar on Mintsy would be extremely useful, and alleviate the problem reported by ThePhwner.

I will get with the developers and see what we can do.
157  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdraw/verification on cryptsy on: May 15, 2015, 11:30:11 AM
Polo and Bittrex currently have no AML policies that I know of yet both operate in the US. I would say this opens them up to situations like ripple labs was just in. Most of our systems that can cause delays are due to AML and suspicious activity which our system flags.

Is my withrawal of 600 BTCD suspicious too? Or I am suspect?
My withdrawal I've made half year ago (didn't get the money) is suspicious?
My deposits I've made more than half year ago are suspicious?

Who is suspect in all mentioned cases?

Give me a support ticket # for reference.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Official] Mintsy.co Thread **150% more SHA hashing for the same price RETRO!** on: May 15, 2015, 11:27:36 AM
I am very disappointed I rented 4 rigs, only 1 worked. I had 0khs for the 3 others. I changed pool and try everything even recreated a worker to see if it's not coming from this but nothing to do I can't rent anything from now....

Tickets are slow to respond (last ticket took 4 day to have a reponse that was : every rent is manually checked and refund if not correct....) that's not really what I call a working service. If even rig rental does not work I really don't want to pay 59$ for a contract....

Let me look into this for you. Contracts are services provided by us rentals are obviously others renting you their equipment so there is a difference in service level. Let me find out exactly what happened in your case. PM me your ticket #
159  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining on: May 13, 2015, 10:56:27 AM
You can try out our site Mintsy. You can choose between SHA/Scrypt contracts, mine with your contracts on external pools, Rent people rigs so you have different options.

Mintsy is a digitalBTC & Cryptsy product both companies being very public and around for a while.

If you choose Mintsy you can use the coupon code MINEMINTSY, and save 10% on contract purchases. Coupons only good for a few more days.

160  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdraw/verification on cryptsy on: May 12, 2015, 05:57:48 PM
Not a fan of cryptsy, especially now that the whole Paycoin scam has been unravelled.

Very slow to deposit and withdrawal.

Slow usually means your a newer account. Get verified for fastest withdraw deposit speeds.

Why would I give them my identification when I can get fast withdrawal/deposits without it on Poloniex and Bittrex.

RIP Coin-Swap, yet another casualty of the GAW/Paycoin fiasco.

Polo and Bittrex currently have no AML policies that I know of yet both operate in the US. I would say this opens them up to situations like ripple labs was just in. Most of our systems that can cause delays are due to AML and suspicious activity which our system flags.
