I think you must test-drive your 1-2 rigs that will arrive, and decide bit later do you really need all other rigs, also you need to see can you maintain rigs, there are many underwater stones in overclocking/undervolting, power delivery, thermals, cleaning etc. if this rigs will be produce zero problems to you, then go on for more

Hi. I have RX5700xt GPUs.Is "-eres 0" better for avoiding crashes in phoenix miner? Or higher numbers like 2(default) is better for reducing crashes?
If you expect crashes when switching epochs, give the -lidag <n> option a try and choose slowest, use together with -gser 2 my 5700 didnt crash so far thanks. I've already tried -lidag 1 and had better stability I will also try -gser 2 with it. but won't it decrease the mining speed? Nope, it only affects DAG creation speed, hashrate will be the same

This is malware, please ban this stupid monkeys PHOENIXMINER HAS RELEASED V5.1C-- Look on page 242 of this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.msg54852141#msg54852141 . PhoenixMiner has released a beta version, and the link is in his post. It is not on the major release page yet. --scryptr P.S. -- It is always good to be skeptical of non-official links, but the official link is on page 242 of this thread. --scryptr Please do a better research, it's not same links, yes trey're on MEGA too, but original beta on page 242 contains original miner without any archive password, but stupiod russian links contains modified miner with archive password, please do a better research, thanks!

Options to control overclocking and overvoltage in PM is the same as in CM. F.e. -cclock -1200 -mclock 2000. Just read the readme file on the PM miner folder. Don't be lazy, read it. Mining does not tolerate laziness. If you didn't place any options to control clocks and voltages, PM wouldn't touch these parameters at all.
Thanks for answer mate, but looks like you didnt read my question? I dont use overclocking and voltage controle via MINERS (ex. Claymore or Phoenix), i use it with OverDrivenTool and it works perfect for 3+ years. My question was: If i have only basic config in Phoenix miner, why does he control my fan speed and other overclocking settings? When i enter OverDrivenTools, the interface shows me current settings used by miner, and not the once i have choose. I need help to turn this off, i want my miner cfg to be basic, only pool, wallet and worker name, other settings (Overclocking and etc) i will settup with OverDrivenTool, thats all Also, I did read the readme file ofc, fast enough yeah, and one more time again, but probably will do it many times more If u know the short story-answer, pls help. Short story answer is use Claymore

You must do the math and decide, will you wait your ROI, is money that you throw in hardware are quite "free" for you, i mean no other targets for this money, no hungry family, kids etc. And then push the trigger, i'm absolutely sure that big projects like Ethereum and other major crypto will rise in price by time, and will injected like payment method in future Look on mining like investment in future, not additional everyday "salary"

I'm having a bit trouble with phoenixminer and my miningexpert B250 motherboard... it finds all my 6 gpus and starts filling up the DAG, however sometimes it fails to do so with a few of the gpus, which resulting in the computer crash with bluescreen then reboots.
this repeats often many times after consecutive retries after reboots, and sometimes it works after a poweroff...
any clue to what causes this ?
Beside the PSU, check also your x1 headers from risers in MB, cause i have had almost same probs, i have absolutely overkill PSU power and even show all green pcie slots on POST, but on load two of 15 x1 headers in MB was completely shutdown (it has LED on it so i can see, two leds turn red instead blue), replaced in my case and good to go, and check cables, risers and connection between of course

no, people are dumping used graphics cards now to cut their losses. they bought in high to ride the crypto wave, and they dont want to deal with the slump.
i've purchased tons of used graphics cards over the years, and not a single one has ever been bad. i've actually had more bad cards that were bought brand new than used cards.
Nobody cares about used cards or new cards, same as guy few posts above that running p104 @150W, my p104's handle 40Mhs @108W and i purchased it from crypto money, not putting own fiat money at all, so that's reasonable to "buy" it at almost free instead your "100$ cost" Btw MSI has one year warranty on mining P104-100, other have 3 months
