Ok so I am home from my trip to the USA and I finally can upgrade to this firmware.

except for the problem that my D3 is not showing up on my network so I can't upgrade over the network. D3 never worked  

so I am going to try to use a microSD to try and atleast get it running but I have no single god damn clue how the hell I am going to get this working.

got the beaglebone out but what do I use to flash a microSD and hopefully get it up and running.

nah there are green LEDs on the hashboards too.

so I let it running. the Ethernet port is working fine. seems to be connected and responding.

each hashboard has two red LEDs and one blue on(occasionally a green on pops up)



several restarts did nothing. not showing up on my ip scanner.

So I am finally home.

looking at my D3 which wasn't showing up on the network. did a reset on the miner several times but no luck. the normal LED blinks on and off like my L3+ but the ETH port lights (green and yellow) blink on and off slowly at the same time(instead of yellow being on and green flashing rapidly)

anybody have any idea wtf is going on?

quick question. I turned on my D3 but it isn't showing in my IP list on my IP scanner. my L3+ shows up just fine but my D3 doesn't.

I presume the IP thing button on the miner could help? really stupid but I have to have a friend do this since im 7000 miles away from it. do I just press the button or hold it for several seconds?

its been turned on and off three times now.

reseated all the connectors(friend back home is doing this). changed the UTP cable to a different switch.

now its telling me that my connection timed out. I can see it if I run a network scanner. but I just can't get into the GUI.
