Dogecoin is a coin without team and core technology, but Musk made it appear in the general public. Many people who are not cryptocurrency traders are buying Dogecoin, just like buying BTC. Why does it succeed? Is it just because of Musk? Dogira, Shibi, HOGE, who will be the next Dogecoin？

Doge coin needs no real reason for the price to get pumped. A group of people decides to pump it, everyone will follow and do the same. The coin only needs to be "hyped" a little for it to get pumped. So if Elon doesn't tweet, someone else eventually will create a hype. This is how the coin has been forever. It gets pumped when anyone hypes it. The pump is short lived and gets dumped really quick. Don't forget, it's a "Meme" coin with no actual use case. People use it for the lulz. Not sure what you mean by succeed. Do you think the price is the only factor that shows if a coin "succeeded" or not? I think you misunderstood me. I also much agree with your point of view on the theory of hype. But an excellent project, especially cryptocurrency, which has a better token economy and product can achieve a good internal cycle, and it will promote the continuous increase of prices. Unsuccessful projects rely on speculation or bookmakers. Of course, there will be price fluctuations for a certain period of time, but they will eventually fall into silence. |

As I remember, the last post from Musk about Dogecoin was ,more or less, negative! He said he will not talk about it more before Dogecoin becomes more "decentralized"! He said that 6 (If I remember correctly) hold the majority of coins in circulations! So they control the Dogecoin market! Or at least they are able to do it! But since that tweet, Dogecoin made nice progress and in one moment went x3 from $0.05! Who knows what is happening here exactly, we should be aware that we talk about Dogecoin, it's a kind of paradox in crypto, at least in my opinion! I am not aware of other "Dogecoins", there is only one Doge! not like this. Musk’s latest day of tweets is about sending Dogecoin to Musk Rockets. Although I don't want such a thing to happen, it did happen. and it also played a major role in the price of Dogecoin. I think that the development of a coin should be due to its economic model and product development. The token economy drives the price of the coin to rise, not news. To be honest, this wouldn't be appropriate to be posted here since it was into Bitcoin but I think you're just promoting this project from the Polkadot ecosystem. What's the market cap of it? I think if it's below the $200M market cap mark then it probably more risky for much pump and dump scheme. I don't think it's over, it will be over if the price goes back to $20k again or even at $15k or even lower than that, speculation says 2021 is we will see 6 figures for Bitcoin. I am sorry for this, I have invested in almost all Polkadot projects, but BTC affects all altcoins. So I will discuss it with my friends here. I am seeing at least more than 2 people are already talking about this project but I am not sure about anything regarding this. I do see the teams are mostly from China and as per past performances when a project is based on Chinese people then the support from Chinese people is too high; for example XEM project; it is continuously getting support from those people. Still, you may go investing at your affordable levels and I am like usual going to watch without risking anything as I am always prefer to invest only into bitcoins. Investing in BTC is a stable income, and investing in altcoins is a combination of risk and reward. However, according to many information, such as investment institutions, ecological technology, BSC, etc., risks will be gradually reduced. You can consider buying and paying attention. |
