Sorry for hijacking the discussion with a newbie question but could anybody tell me how many blocks are there right now for the devcoin wallet?

I already have bitcoin, litecoin and dogecoin clients on my laptop, these all look the same but the devcoin client looks different (doesn't show me "x of y blocks" but instead just "x blocks") and resulted in lots of antivirus popups (compared to other wallets that didn't...I downloaded the devcoin wallet from here).

With my question I pretty much just want to figure out if I finished downloading the whole blockchain or not. I'm at 130093 blocks right now.

If the writers are dumping coins short term, maybe you could come up with a system where you withhold part of the payment and if the writers hang around for a set period of time (maybe 3 months or something) then those coins get released? Or do you think that you are just moving the same problem down the road for a few months?

Im noob and I have question! DevCoin wallet looks like old format. Has there been an updated release recently? I got mine back in Dec. 2013. It takes a while but its synced. I was just wondering if there was a newer version because the format looks old.

That said I understand the importance and I think it should be merged in but the right place for it would be we merge in 0.9 unless you can provide a more compelling why it cant wait fir 0.8.5 to be even finalized.
