There was many factors to sell the coins and the top of the reason is because lack of liquidity for the coins and this will make that coins to drop at the market and need to be sell earlier before it has no value at all. If the coins has liquidity and has being listed at a good exchange like binance i mostly will be hodl my coin as we all know it was a good exchange and being likely to pump up more.

I'm still hoping on that case, but there are advantages and disadvantage of this matter. We will follow the best required for the better process.the main idea was discussed and study in a certain time to implement what is better use for us.
Only time will tell us if cryptocurrency are really the future of currency.. For now on we will hold on what we trust with. If we think cryptoccurency are athe future of currency then support it to become reality. Supporting what we believe on will make the dream come true. |

It's clearly stated by tether if it's not all of the tokens have backed 1:1 with the fiat money. I think that you should read the announcement that has already created by tether in the past and from that news and we can expect tether didn't have the enough fiat money to back up all of the funds. I think tether will doing fine because they already being long at the market for now and im sure they can backed up the fiat money with what token they created and by what they announce the audit are already has being done and there will be no issues for the print anymore. |

They are not copying satoshi. What they do is trying to avoid future implications if they have bad thoughts and results about their project.
No one will be followed, no one will get sued if the team is anonymous. This is why it's good to follow those projects that has a known team and is composed of people that has experience in cryptocurrencies, not just the typical expert that the media says.
Anonymous team are not good to follow because they have bad thoughts . You are right.. Its better to follow projects with good team and composed people. Most of defi projects are lead by anonymous team and that was a bad signal for investors but from what i see peoples are born to be greed and most of the investors are not care as long the defi projects could bring them profit. |

You can't be 100 % sure if the project is fake. I always recommend to my friends to invest only in the top 100. It is too difficult in the crypto market.
Otherwise you should search about the team members if they are real and authentic persons and check the registered address of the company.
That why we need to make sure by doing our own research about the projects first before investing. We cannot rely on what other said about the project as most of the info provide at the internet was not a 100% correct and can be trust. Use our own sense and gut to believed the projects are fit with our own criteria or not. |

What will happen after the transition of eth from Pow to Pos? According to my scenario this would mean the demise of ethereum. Because? well, let's start with the fact that pow is based on millions of mining rigs around the world validating blocks. These resell the earned and when they have paid off the machines and the electricity, they set aside a little ethereum to buy more performing machines or optimize consumption. With the pos these will become useless with the consequence that ethereum will also become useless for them. It will be a much more centralized cryptocurrency for the rich few. Just my opinion.
Edit1 The effect of the miners (and therefore of the economic empires of Nvidia and Amd which have an interest in increasing the values of some crypto to sell more cards) will be felt just as it was felt on the various litecoin then dash etc?
It will be a great thing for hodlers but will be a bad thing for miners as they cannot mine anymore.. Most defi project hide their team identity which i think not appropriate way to make a projects that has term a really high risk investment. i would not invest at anonymous team as the team could disappear easily after getting the money from investors.

They supply this link https://futures-binance.org/ which if you follow takes you to a medium page requesting you to participate in the giveaway. It is a big scam. Don't fall for it over again. Always visit https://whois.domaintools.com to check when the giveaway domain was created and its owner/owners. To be more sure about thing that has binance name on it you need to joined binance telegram and see if the event are a real deal and not just a scam that make by a scammer. If you didnt sure just ask at the telegram about the event. Im sure you will get the answer fast in there. |

Its gonna be interesting to see BTC drop to $5K again and the defi projects fly up like how the YFI did.
There were several reasons I've read about what really is happening like the miner's exit to which they are selling it for a low price so new miners will not get ROI and eventually close down. The only reason some find it sensible is that what goes up must come down, I guess this is just investors taking profit and then reinvesting again after.
I don't expect Bitcoin price to drop because if this happens then the whole crypto market will surely be affected a lot and investor sentiment will change. Given the current situation I hope the uptrend will persist as this is for the best of the market. One more thing, when the market rises, the DeFi projects will attract more investors and this is a good opportunity for you to make more profits. I would say Defi projects was make a lot of new investors loss their money and make the market bleeding again so soon as the hype of Defi will attract a lot of scammer to make a scam project that lead to new investors losing their money and what most surprises even Binance do list scam project in their exchange. |

it will be a bad investment for you if you pick an old project that has not improve at all these year. Better to search a project that still in hype or a stable one at the top coin at coinmarketcap much more better then picking an old project that not gonna go anywhere so soon.

you are correct but their site host must be using a centralized server that can be trace by government. Not a total 100% decentralized so i guess Defi still can be regulated if the government wanted to. From what i see Defi hype might be not last longer. |

Go to coinmarketcap and make a proper your own research before investing on the coins. There was a lot of scams and no liquidity tokens out there. For newbies it will be wise to make the research you need before jump at any projects because the risk getting lose are very high. |

Have you seen that none of these are long existing? ICO created hype back in 2017, then IEO come into the ground and now it's time of DeFi. But with all of them, a lot of people were attracted and get scammed. It's not that easy to make money, dude. Don't run after anything which creates significant hype. Take time, observe and make decision. You have enough time to make profit.

Gold is another store of value, but not that unstable. It reached 2000$ recently and was above 1000$ for many years. Those who invested in gold back in 1900 would have made a great choice since it costed only 20$ back then if I'm not wrong. (Although dollar was way more strong than now)
Bitcoin can lose 500$ within one night. Gold can't. Why that?
For me, it's because Bitcoin has a finite supply of just 21 million compare to our local currency that has unlimited supply. Plus, no central authority are taking control of this cryptocurrency because it is operating under a decentralized technology in the form of blockchain. These are some of the factors regarding Bitcoin's unstable price. Anyone, even a kid, can own Bitcoin rather than the traditional stocks which are centralized and limits only to the accredited investors. As we fully control our own decisions, that's where volatility is high depend if it goes high or low. We all aware that bitcoin are completed controlled by our own decision and sometime we also can make a lot of mistake that might losing our own money because of a lot factor like getting scam or losing or private key. Its was a high risk rather then gold that has it own physical values and can be stored in the bank in case we want it to be saved and can be insurance if it get rob. |
