141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better? on: June 03, 2018, 07:39:28 PM
If you have some altcoins that can become kinde revolutionary in their field of activity and you own them from the very beginning - it is good asset, you can hold for a long term, but choose carefully.
If you want to invest your btc in some coins from the first 100 of coinmarcetcap top then I recommend you to hold bitcoin.
If you want to evade risks, also hold bitcoin. And remain calm till 2023 Wink
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC for bounties and airdrops on: June 02, 2018, 05:22:52 PM
I have never participated in such bounty or airdrop but I think that KYC is the last thing that bounty hunter should do. I understand when airdrop participants wants to protect themselves from alts(even if there are tons of other ways, anyway).
But I totally don't understand why is it necessary to pass KYC for bounty participants.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: June 02, 2018, 05:12:25 PM
It is always risky to by currencies from top-100 also Wink
There were times when bitcoin was out of top. Just cuz there was no top, only bitcoin. And many people(I mean not many among all, many among those who knew about it in 2009-2011, imo) thought that this is risky to buy this electronic cash. Now they feel themselves much better Wink
So yeah, it is risky, but think about what you can get
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: June 01, 2018, 06:49:42 PM
All these graphs don't make sense when somebody with big amount of money decides to enter the market and buy free bitcoins from those who sell 8k to get back in with 3k thanks to such guru predictors Angry Which also don't specify their point of view only saying "just trust me", based on few trend lines. Come on. Who will allow bitcoin to go to 3k??
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is this the end of crypto? on: June 01, 2018, 06:40:14 PM
as we know all altcoin prices are all down, and bitcoin prices have also entered the price of $ 8000 is this a sign that crypto will end? and bitcoin prices will return like the starting price in 2016? because every thing has its time and I hope this is not the time for crypto to expire and in the future I expect altcoin and bitcoin prices to return normal again and increase the price.
By the 2006 level, prices will not fall, and cryptography will live on, as the number of new investors increases every day. And the current correction after the bear market is an obvious recovery, we need more time and patience for all of us.

I wonder if I could buy Bitcoin in 2006, or maybe mine it with my rig with single calculator on Grin Stop it pls
Speaking about topic - I hope you are not serious saying that crypto is dying. Just a year ago Bitcoin price was 3-4k now it is 8k and you are saying that crypto is dying. Come on
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luck in cryptoeconomics is a myth? on: May 31, 2018, 08:11:37 PM
How can you calculate the future? If you have the method, share please, I will share share my profit with you with no doubt Grin
Seriously, it is not the math thing in generally, but, as always, perfect combination of math and luck. And I think the proportion is 80/20, where calculation is the majority.
Those who can describe their investment decision in numbers only - they can loose when those who bought depending on currency's logo color can win. But it is much better to know your risks Wink
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I invest only in ICOs on: May 31, 2018, 07:57:53 PM
The project is not bad, and maybe payment methods are comfortable(but who needs paypal when he can buy tokens with ethereum, anyway) but your investment strategy is very aggressive.
Many ICOs can freeze your assets for a long time for no reason(for example get listed on exchanges only after six moth or even more) or even never reach exchanges. Turn out fraud and more.
Why don't you buy tokens on exchange?
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time. on: May 30, 2018, 07:16:18 PM
All these things that you just mentioned is not about hold but about trading. All depends on want you want to gain from holding. Many coins on the market are made for reason their creators want your bitcoin and your money. Also, you can easily say that bch will rise and you will gain more in btc. But what you will say if bch will go down and newer rise again? If you had 1 btc in bch equivalent and it became 0.1 btc?
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the benefits of decentralised exchanges on: May 30, 2018, 07:12:24 PM
First benefit of decentralized exchange - is full control of your assets. On centralized exchange you make a deposit and then you trade only numbers on the screen. When on dex you trade with real currency.
Second- is that you have no limits to trade. On centralized exchange you need to pass through verification to get higher limits when on dex you have none of them. Plus privacy, talking about verification.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: May 30, 2018, 07:08:13 PM
No they are not investors. You are quiet correct that our time is our best resource, but for some people it is not such expensive asset. Investors are people who invest money in project to gain profit in time.
In that case people who work at their job also are investors because they invest their time to get money. This is incorrect.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping on: May 29, 2018, 07:16:11 PM
Every single fast movement of bitcoin price is bad for altcoins. There are two reasons in two cases - when bitcoin falls the price of altcoin in usd equivalent also dips so many prefer to sell(bots doing it instantly). So the price of bitcoin dip, but altcoins dipper.
Then if bitcoin price rises instantly, many decide to close the orders in profit and it also causes the price dip, not in usd but in bitcoin equivalent. So this movements are very sensitive for alts
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crowdholding - The future of bounty campaigns? on: May 29, 2018, 07:11:42 PM
I can't say something positive or negative about project crowdholding directly, but the strategy of such bounty itself seems very perspective as for me.
I just look on DeepOnion which was kinda hype some time, and I really like the way they released their bounty tasks and rules. Maybe more project will act like this
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex !!! on: May 29, 2018, 07:06:26 PM
Oh, I had experience with trading on poloniex, I used to use it in early spring last year, from that moment many things changed and I left this exchange.
But not a long time ago I logged in and I feel myself like in house with ghosts Grin Only bots are trading here, no more people.
They just loose the remaining couple of people by acting like this imo
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still did not get bounty rewards? on: May 28, 2018, 06:28:27 PM
That is not instant money and you should understand it, better before joining every bounty campaign. Lets think in long term - you have an asset which wants to implement new technology and it will explode the market, just for example. But it need development. And it can be developed for 3-6-12 months, 2-3 years or more. And those who supported it in the beginning will wait this long to have a big gain.
And you are that person that enters the project even before the sale. So..
If you are talking about receiving tokens only - don't worry, you will get it soon, if not - the project is scam and you will be warned and other people too - it will lose it's authority. So nothing to worry about Wink
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: binance or folkdelta or bancor on: May 28, 2018, 06:10:42 PM
You compared such different exchanges in this topic. First of all specify your goals - what type of trading you prefer.
Binance is a big exchange with huge daily volume. Here you can go if your deposit is near $100k and it will be perfect, you will be able to trade here. And there are popular coins. Binance is like the finish of exchange rally - if coin enter Binance it means that it can't turn out scam or something like that.
But on Binance you will not find altcoins that can make you x100 in few months. Search for them on small exchanges. But it is risky, remember.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really worth it to invest in ICO? on: May 28, 2018, 06:04:50 PM
You need not a lot of money, so sometimes it worth to risk. There are also big investors who believe in project success, so it will be very profitable for them to participate in good ICO.

I think you are not correct, just because there are zero big investors that only believe in project. Maybe I, maybe you, community enthusiasts like us can send their money to ICO depending on their believe, but not big ones - is this a difference to lost $1000 in scam ICO or $300 000? So big investors join ICOs only if they know that they will get money, get profit, or at least they will get their money back. I think there is special special conditions for such participants.

And I think it is good to invest in ICO. If you have patience to choose the right projects of course. In that case your money goes to development of something new and helpful, and then you get money for your decision to be the first adept of this technology and this idea. So DYOR and invest.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the reasons behind banning cryptos? on: May 28, 2018, 05:54:31 PM
I think the main reason is disadvantages of cryptocurrency Smiley. You should know that cryptocurrency is being used so much in dark market and by crimes. Beside there are a lot of people wanna take advantage of cryptocurrency to commit guilty like money laundering, tax evade, selling drug,....I think these countries wanna prevent this problem so they banned cryptocurrency Smiley

If they want to prevent drug selling and tax evade they should activate structures that fight against drugs spreading and different tax services that should control all such money movement. Cryptocurrency is not the magic tablet and with lack of crypto there will not be lack of criminal.
Criminal uses dollar to money laundering, lets ban dollar, ok?
Terrorist uses toilets, lets ban them, ok?
There are other reasons for governments to ban crypto. And the main is possibility of crypto to equalize the difference between rich and poor people. They afraid of it. People become smart(imo), and this is a problem for them. So they "ban" the community this way. But what they are expecting from this action, or they would like to ban the whole internet lol
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is going on actually?? on: May 25, 2018, 08:05:03 PM
So much answers about this situation on this forum - maybe every who ask them think that all whales are sitting here, reading our topics and decide do dump if we buy and pump if we sell Grin
Nobody knows what is going on. They all will be happy to explain it to you after the event, after something went clear. But now nobody can tell you the truth. Answering your question - there is no need to invest right now. You can miss the perfect point of enter, and you know why? Because it doesn't exist. Just wait till things turn great, and then buy. Or you will get higher risks to go dipper if you but now.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Role of bitcointalk profile rank on: May 25, 2018, 07:58:13 PM
Does bitcointalk Forum rank really matter 's for signature bounty campaigns and what are the links between "Merits" and "bitcointalk forum rank" ?

Yes it is. There is direct dependency between your forum rank and you reward from the signature bounty campaigns. Hero members gain in one week stakes equal to 3.5 weeks for junior member. So the reward will be x3.5.
Before this year the only thing that could up your rank was activity - if you write more than 14 posts every two weeks you will gain higher rank in some time.
But now we have merits - kinda likes. You can send and receive merits. But you cant send as much as you receive - 2 merits to you generate 1 merit that you can send to others.
Complex system. In two words - forget about getting higher rank on this forum. We all will have this ranks forever Smiley
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you choose between wallet or exchange ? on: May 24, 2018, 07:04:52 PM
There are some coins that need to be all amount on wallet, and there are some coins that need to be all amount on exchange. And all other coins you can divide partially, 40/60 for example.
Coins that should be in wallet should be long term investment. Because cold storage is much more safer. And there are coins that should always be on exchange. For example, BCN. When they pump it you can't send it to exchange.
But I recommend you cold storage if you don't trade
