Hi Op, can you ban trade chat from being between buyer / seller on your platform involving *agarodesk.com* I'm pretty sure people here at bitcointalk is no stranger to cyber squatting and login credential harvesting. below link is an example why this ban should take precedence before member's bitcoin wallet gets drained. https://agarodesk[.]com/ad/47758a06-4144-4fb4-b58a-064144afb434/ Keep in mind draining non custodial wallet can be done without login onto your website and type in password (which should be same as above), if they know how to use the offset from password phishing link above to compute the xprv key to allow it determine related utxo and priv key pairs. Hi! Thanks for the report. We've already reported the phishing domain to the registrar, as we do all such cases. Simple chat scanning is easily bypassed by the phishers with alternate spellings, unfortunately. Only enforcing site-wide 2FA would fully close down this vector, though that would take away from the ease of use of the website. Generally, we believe that it's the user's own responsibility whether they believe they need 2FA or not.

Thanks for your translation! I am still waiting for an Indonesian translation to be finished and I have hopes for a few more to be started. Hey LocalMonero! I addition to the Indonesian translation provided above by dansus021, I am also adding the Polish translation of your topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5468148. All in all, it has been translated in 8 new languages ()Russian, French, Bengali, Pidgin, Filipino, German, Polish and Indonesian. I hope this helps. Amazing work, we really appreciate it! Thank you ♥

Ah, that news block is generally reserved for new features, not anniversary celebrations. It just so happened that we released the apps into beta on the same day as our anniversary. We've posted about our 6th anniversary on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/160z09a/celebrating_localmoneroagoradesks_6th_anniversary/The first service to launch was LocalMonero, but it's the same platform. AgoraDesk is essentially an alternative frontend that's more Bitcoin focused. You use the same credentials and all your account data is the same between the two sites.

It's not a bad idea, we'll have to see if it's workable with our system.

I edited the post twice, but I can't figure out why the misquoting is happening. ((( You've removed the first line from the quote, add this again: [quote author=LocalMonero link=topic=5188930.msg62627888#msg62627888 date=1690814584] We can't push for reviews as we think it should be voluntary, although we still hope LoyceV will join Time is always against me I still want to test AgoraDesk (and that would be my very first P2P transaction). Thanks it helped! Hopefully when you have more time you can try out the platform and enjoy the process.

In addition, we now have another campaigner (Loyce), I hope he will soon join the discussion and give an objective assessment of our platform! Thank you for the heads-up, OP! Looking forward for more details about this announcement! Other than that, do you have any news regarding when you will add the translations of the topic to OP? There are already at least 2 translations already finished ( [1], [2]) and waiting to appear in OP We can't push for reviews as we think it should be voluntary, although we still hope LoyceV will join (although we can invite you to review our platform and give us your thoughts). We also told our manager to send us the updated bbcode of the thread, so the links you provided will be added to the OP soon.

RickDeckard, We have also already been sent a translation made by you and we will add a link to the OP in the very near future! In addition, we were notified about some other things, so we will edit the OP and make some changes to the FAQ.
I'm glad that icopress has sent you my translation and I hope it meets your expectations. While I was providing some answers to the community, I was left wondering how does this arbitration bond works[1] - does all the sellers place their bitcoin/xmr in a 2-of-3 multisig address?
[1] https://agoradesk.com/faq#protectionNope, it's not a multisig address. Just a normal address. The bond is submitted to the platform.

We would like to add that we welcome the translation of the thread into local languages! Sometimes I'm just a slowpoke on these sort of things. I'll take care of translating your thread into the Portuguese board. Once its done I'll post here for awareness. Perhaps you could link the current available translations in your OP? RickDeckard, We have also already been sent a translation made by you and we will add a link to the OP in the very near future! In addition, we were notified about some other things, so we will edit the OP and make some changes to the FAQ.

Translation also involves maintaining the thread (because you will be the local owner of the AgoraDesk thread).

We are interested in representing our main thread in all major local sections of the forum.
Please let me know if anyone is interested (please don't expect to be paid for this work as it should be all voluntary). However, we can take care of some bonuses (PM for details).
