1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IOTA: Snake oil insecurity with a centralized kill switch to shut off your money on: July 02, 2020, 09:13:53 AM
I am a victim of the hack of february 2020 I have lost 35Gi. Is there anything I can do ?

Sorry to hear that, hope you will get those back. I would recommend to go into their Discord, present your case there and talk to someone from IF. Afaik David will compensate affected users, but be prepared to be asked to deliver detailed proof and also various documents for KYC.
Thank you for your suggestion. I have gone to discord and the problem is investigated by the team. Now I need to have patience...

Le coronavirus en France:
- désinvolture en hiver et psychose au printemps
- désinvolture en été et psychose cet automne ?

I have seen that David Sonstebo will refund the victims. What is the process for that ?

I have not still received any iota.  My claim address just contains 20 iota resulting from a test transfer from bitfinex. I don't know the reason of this new delay: technical, legal, psychological or perhaps, as CFB wrote in a previous post, just the fact that David is very busy, which I can understand. However, probably as all other claimers, I feel a big frustration.
?? You have copied a text that I have written last year. Not fair

Wink

You(we) guys are left with 2 choices only:

"Pray for ever until Iota GOD decide your destiny or, if you efficiently raise voice, be taken responsible of an endless delay" - How EVIL is that ?

Saturday evening, I answered him I'll stay quite for a few days, so for today, I limit myself to this:

Send me your email in PM.

From tomorrow, I'll send you back a private Ryver invite to egenese.ryver.com (egenese is my company) where I set up a closed specific chanel: Iota Syndicate

They have private talks they do not share with us, so we must have some too. It may help us to better understand what/why they do not tell us, obtain better treatment or end up fighting for our rights, if we have to.

My login has been disabled. I don't know why...

I am in "list 1 - KYC" and I have received my iotas the last weekend.
But I don't know what is this finalization letter as I have not received it.
I have been able to speak with David (I have emailed him and obtained just one response, but it was enough to agree for a donation)
In such a case, perhaps the finalization letter is not useful (just an hypothesis, CFB will perhaps confirm it)

I have recieved my iotas today. Then I have tried sending some iotas to bitfinex. The first time it works. The second time, it does not work despite many re-attach. I have launched again the light wallet and now it seems that all my iotas have disappeared !! Is someone know why ? What can I do ? Please help.

Most likely just some display problems, change nodes and see if the balance shows up again. You might also check your address(es) in the explorer, to see what's going on: https://thetangle.org/
Thanks you. I have changed node and finally retrive my iotas !

I have finally received my iotas ! I hope it is also the case for every list 1 claimer. This is moving especially If I think of the number of times I wrote in this thread "still a week is ending and nothing received".  Smiley

I would like to know if a list 1 claimer has already obtained its iotas.
