1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The media is really bored - June 21st world is ending (FALSE) on: June 20, 2020, 03:54:38 PM
The media will report on anything that will get them attention and will report anything that they are told to report. If its a popular subject or will receive alot of Attention they want to report on it and of course be the first one to report on it! It makes them money!
But still, all this fake news negatively affects the psyche. Better not to read the news. It’s much calmer, there’s no general nervousness about which all news sites write. I finally breathe calmly when I stopped scrolling the news feed.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politics & The English Language -By George Orwell on: June 20, 2020, 03:51:49 PM
This is a quite relevant short essay by George Orwell, the author of 1984. We are now at the point in our political degeneration where words are literally being redefined in an attempt to manipulate the perception of reality itself. Our thoughts are composed of words, therefore our world views are dependent on their definitions. 1984 was not supposed to be a manual, but unfortunately he was even more prophetic than most people ever imagined. Just don't forget, 2 + 2 = 5. Your life may soon depend on it.

https://www.orwell.ru/library/essays/politics/english/e_polit

The laziness and the lack of precision of our current political 'influencers' lead to doublespeak.

hence

preference -> privilege (as in white privilege)

enforcement -> brutality (as in law enforcement)

resentment -> racism

The original meaning of the words on the right is lost as a result.  I believe we truly live in society as described in the 1984 novel, hate=love, war=peace, lie=truth, etc.

I do not know how this happens.
The most interesting thing is that you try not to live by these rules. But the leaders of the countries ... The most interesting thing is that we chose them, we endowed them with this power. So are they really we?
3  Economy / Economics / Re: The End of "USD" as the World's Reserve Currency on: June 19, 2020, 05:08:31 PM
If the yuan becomes the world currency, then we can safely talk about the complete power of China in the world.
I agree with the author that confidence in the dollar, as the world currency can be shaken.
The authorities should take measures to support not only the population, but also the economy.
I want to believe that they can overcome these difficulties.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Collapse of crude oil prices on: June 19, 2020, 05:05:17 PM
Economic collapse is always bad. Even if this does not happen in your country, a chain reaction occurs. Humanity can overcome the crisis only if it joins forces. But the oil situation has shown that this will not happen.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving economy at the cost of what? on: June 19, 2020, 05:02:06 PM
I do think we do realize that the most important thing one should be concerned right now about is actually : Well being, Good health of his family and himself too.

When I go through the news I do realize that the government is prematurely removing the Quarantine , which might cost life of a lot of people .

• Bans on many Casinos was lifted
• The Flights have started operating
• Schools are going to start again

And much more !

I do think we should realize that even though we are moving forward to save the economy of the world , we are actually less concerned about COVID-19 now.

Is it worth it ?

Because even though we have strict regulations, even though people have been given strict rules to follow , they will still mess up !

I am aware of the counter argument : If this is not done people will still die ..Hungry , without being able to pay for the basic necessities

But I do think there should be some way , such as Quarantine is extended but still the Sectors Instead of asking people to come to the office continues to work from Home.

There should be Penalty on people for not wearing masks, might sound ridiculous for some but please understand that :

The second or Third wave of the virus can be prevented by 100% usage of masks .

With Risks increasing and possible economic collapse where are we headed to ?
That's true but i think government decide to reopen some business stablishment and transportation because of many people are arguing with the goverment and many hardheaded people that always disobey the rules of the government. They always said that they would not die of virus but starve. This current situation cause by the pandemic is really difficult both on the side of the people and government. The only one thing for me to prevent virus spreading if people collaborate with the government despite of difficulty .  We need to suffer now for a short time rather than many can die.
Exactly. If every people in a country knows how to collaborate with their government, even they make an awful mistakes. No one would be suffering in this situation of the pandemic because there are some people who are only good on putting all the blame to their government, but in reality they also make big mistakes in this current situation.
I do not know what kind of population mistakes you are talking about. There are very poor countries where people have worked for a day and received money. There are no savings in these countries. The state did not support them. And what should they do? Do not starve to death? And I think it’s not worth blaming them for the ease of actions. They can also be quarantined and watch TV shows.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Very strange most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few on: June 19, 2020, 04:59:19 PM
First of all, not all sellers accept altcoins. Many are calculated only with bitcoin. Although this is stupid.
For the second reason, I would attribute the habit of conducting operations and making financial calculations in bitcoin.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: June 19, 2020, 04:57:06 PM
I am definitely against taxation especially in the crypto world. What has the state done to take my taxes? Gave energy? maybe provided a laptop to work with crypto, or at least a chair? Nothing. So I will say more. There is no state at all in the cryptocurrency purchase and sale chain.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: What brings economy of a country down. on: June 18, 2020, 04:03:31 PM
I believe that the main reasons that caused recession in the country is the simultaneous failures of businesses and investment plans. Financial, psychological and health problems and real economic factors are at play in the causes and effects of recessions. The very reason that brought the economy more vulnerable to economic shocks this year is the impact of Covid19 and the preceding decade of extreme monetary stimulus..but, somehow, with the right management of the government and country's business leaders, I believe that the economy will rise.
Failures in the business are government responsibility. Small business is bad because of their erroneous actions. New firms cannot open, old ones close.
My opinion is that failures in the economy are the responsibility of the government.
But I do not know what remains to do to citizens in such a situation.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the cause of economy rise and fall. on: June 18, 2020, 03:59:50 PM
I think it all depends on the government of the country, on the general ideology. Let's look at Norway. Stable stable growth. Or Nepal - stably bad. Well, Norway has oil. But Russia also has oil. In which country is the economic situation better?
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Food Shortage and Economic Decline Caused by Pandemic on: June 18, 2020, 03:55:53 PM
the way we help the government is to break the chain of this virus by following the protocol given by the government which is lockdown, bitcoin can't help anything because bitcoin is an investment, maybe those who still have a number of bitcoins can now be helped as long as they don't work
First of all, I want to help my family. We had plans, but because of the coronavirus, everything is postponed indefinitely. It was planned to increase revenue, but unfortunately we only heard a decline in income. I would like to accelerate the return to normal, and not just lie down and wait for it to end.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Using old method in a small scale business (developing countries) on: June 18, 2020, 03:51:04 PM
My country does not support small business - it stifles it with taxes. Poor entrepreneurs do not have time to open up, as bills come to them here. No programs, no soft loans - nothing. People survive as they can.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: June 18, 2020, 03:48:15 PM
I participated in one project three years ago. So when they went public, there was incredible growth, but I decided to wait, as they predicted a higher price. And now for the third year this is such a small amount ... less than I bought ...
13  Economy / Economics / Re: The stock market prices are fake ..hyperinflation is coming soon on: June 17, 2020, 10:20:27 AM
If we look at the dow jones index
https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/stock-market

You will see that from june 5 to june 11 it went down from around 27000 to 25000 ,now it went up to around 26500...somebody is injecting a lot of money in the stock markets around the world ...
The printing machines are working non stop ... i think we will go in to hyperinflation very soon ...

Stock market bubble and hyperinflation are both result of printing to much money. We will not have hyper inflation before negative interest rates. But it will happen really soon.
Printing money is always a necessary measure, and will lead to negative consequences in the economy. I hope that the authorities can mitigate the consequences. There are too many dissatisfied people among the population.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy wouldn't be shut down again despite the rising case count on: June 17, 2020, 09:57:24 AM
Without doubt, they shouldn't shut down economy. Did it had any benefit? Why no one is looking for adverse effect that this economic shut down gave to us? Nowadays it's very hard to get blood for transfusion for those who really need it. A lot of people had lost their jobs and in overall life of quality is decreasing because of fall in economics and I want to mention again that your health and wellbeing depends on economic situation too, they are linked on each other so saying that why do I need good economy if I die because of corona virus, then I want to remind you what I said above + you can build immunity to COVID-19, not to hunger.

So it doesn't worth to shut down US economy again, in any way it's not a deal and majority of people won't be able to handle it and on long term this pause will bring us a bad future.
Do not close the economy. This will only lead to more decline in the economy. And people will be sick. I think that the authorities understand the complexity of the situation, and what decision they did not make (leave quarantine or leave it), everyone will condemn their action.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving economy at the cost of what? on: June 17, 2020, 09:51:09 AM
Saving the economy of a nation at the cost of our life. Yes, in many developing to underdeveloped countries people started starving due to lockdown hence there could be no other solutions for those governments except lifting the lockdown restrictions along with the instructions of mandatory social distancing and masks wearing. Fortunately the rate of death due to covid19 is not significant compared to most other new diseases of last few decades which could be the another reason governments started risking our lives for saving economy Shocked.

It seems we might need to lead our usual life among this virus and patients of covid by wearing masks and by using sanitizers on hands and our touchable everyday things. Tier1 countries may support people by feeding them to keep them staying within home but that is not possible for most other countries hence we cannot expect to continue lockdown.
I agree with you, many poor countries cannot support their population. And people work to provide for themselves and their loved ones. But maybe the virus is not so dangerous, because it is more real to die from hunger than from a virus that you might not get infected.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: June 17, 2020, 09:44:41 AM
The authorities of my country told everyone to stay at home, but they did not support them financially. People either die of hunger or go to work, so everyone in the country works, find loopholes to justify going to work. This is sad because many continue to get sick.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: have you noticed what happens to the air? on: June 16, 2020, 07:59:27 AM
From the simplest thing, choose a bicycle instead of a car, and limit travel by transport, if possible, or choose electric cars. There are not many ways to reduce emissions. More questions to factories and power plants of course.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How will people earn a living after COVID-19? on: June 16, 2020, 07:57:25 AM
During the Great Depression, there was no work, not even the lowest paid. It’s still mono to get a courier-loader-taxi driver. But if there is no need for these professions, then really everything will be in the economy and in the life of ordinary citizens.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: June 16, 2020, 07:38:49 AM
Our world has encountered many pandemics already. But we always get back up. Personally, I believe that we will still go back to normal. However, it would be a "new normal" and there would be changes. Face masks, and alcohol would be the new accessories, and work from home would probably be implemented.

But no matter what happens, every country will surely find a way to revive their economy. Life must always go on.
Face masks outrage me the most. They do not help, they do not protect. This is recognized by the world health organization. But now in my country they force me to wear masks on the beach! on the beach ... I still can’t believe in the actions of the authorities.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: June 16, 2020, 07:36:20 AM
This crisis made the world economy collapse, maybe after the vaccine was found it took about less than 1 year to make everything stable. after it recovers we don't know what will happen next to the world, it will be better or another virus will come Roll Eyes
I’m not sure that there will be enough years for everything to return.
It would be nice if the world returned in 5 years to the pre-coronavirus economy, but not the fact that this will happen. I want to believe in the best.
