Hi you can install openvpn and try vpngate. You can pick the server you like, just download the .ovpn config on the website, there is a lot to choose from. It's a free VPN though.

6  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we push the actual use of Bitcoin ? on: September 07, 2017, 09:53:35 PM
Before bitcoin can be used as a currency like the USD prices must be stable . Bitcoin needs to be rid of its volatile nature but it might not happen in the near future 'cause people primarily see it as an asset to trade , especially those that are new to bitcoin see this as potential investment tool because of its price going higher every time. What needs to happen is lessen its volatility in to manageable level so merchants and consumers need not to be worried that the bitcoin they send will not change significantly before arriving in their wallet. I think any attempt to lower the volatility right now will just be artificial at best, and I'm not even sure if there's possible way to do that. Lets just nature takes its course gradually.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 07, 2017, 02:27:48 PM
It isn't SO popular atm I supose. Older people have no clue what bitcoin is. I do think it would stay as "popular" as you think it is now though. I really can't give any reasons for this but it's just a feeling :-)
For me, Yes. Bitcoin will still be popular even if it has stable price. Well, even if the price is stable it will still be high. Bitcoin wil always be popular no matter what.
Bitcoin already built a solid reputation in the world and there is already a lot of people who are using bitcoin and they are now interested and they are all trying hard to collect bitcoin as much as they can and that will become the foundation for bitcoin to not lose its popularity even there is a lot of problems. So i think i agree to no matter what happen bitcoin will still be popular.
Even tho bitcoin is very popular now, it will still get more and more popular as time goes by. We have to realize that at this time a lot of people are still not aware of the existence of bitcoin. Just imagine the demand that will be created as more people found out about it.
8  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bumababa ang value ng bitcoin. on: September 07, 2017, 12:39:02 PM
Nangyayari din yan  sa market every time na may trend ng price pataas once in a while nagkakaroon ng dip pababa sa presyo bago mag resume uli pataas.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: September 06, 2017, 12:37:17 PM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?
I do think it is very much possible to make profit even without insider information with the instrument you are trading with, whether forex, equity or cryptocurrency. I think most stock markets in the world, insider information is illegal but individual traders and fund managing firms still makes money, otherwise they would all close shop already. But in trading it also does not hurt to stack the odds in your favor, or what some people calls educated guessing. In my opinion that's what a decent trader does, analyzing through technical datas like price history, charts or fundamental analysis with news, updates, market capitalization, etc. and then making an informed decision or as some may call it an educated guess.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: September 05, 2017, 02:41:14 PM
I think this is how big players make profit, wait for the price to go  down and when everybody is selling, they buy everything. Buy low sell high, or not sell just accumulate. They buy the panic and fear of weak hands.  Happy trading!  Grin
11  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: September 05, 2017, 02:20:51 PM
Gold will always be valuable, unless people found a way to solve its scarcity, For the longest time its used as a tool for investment, and whenever there is uncertainty in the market the price of gold goes up. While Bitcoin, because of its volatility but still bullish nature since its early years, speculators are attracted to trading it. Holding bitcoin can create wealth for investors.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: stable currency on: September 05, 2017, 01:04:04 PM
There might be a time in the future that we will see price stability, meaning no more large fluctuation or sudden change unless there is significant news happening. It will be the same as any other currency and some bitcoiners will be disappointed who's in on it because of volatility but other effect of that is more people will use it as money to facilitate commerce instead of investment.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 03, 2017, 08:35:47 AM
The extreme volatility of bitcoin made it attractive to speculators wanting a big return in their investment. It allowed wealth creation for traders that knew how to exploit it. If it ever to become stable and maybe one day it will then it is going to be just one of the many available asset to be traded with and traders looking for more volatility will shift to other coins.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippine Central Bank approves licenses for 2 cryptocurrency exchanges? on: August 25, 2017, 12:38:21 AM
if this news is true, then good if there are to be new players in bitcoin and other cryptocurrency in the Philippines to be an alternative to coinph and rebit, I hope we'll be able to trade other coins too like what you can do with poloniex and bittrex.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: August 25, 2017, 12:17:32 AM
probably some billionaires are already invested In bitcoins, they are the big players that drove the prices up these recent times,  just an opinion..plus there must be hedge funds that invest heavily in bitcoin because of the high reward, high gains but risky nature of bitcoin investing..
