1  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nakakabahalang balita mga kabayan. on: December 06, 2023, 01:44:25 PM
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) Price Alert Notification. on: November 15, 2023, 06:14:24 AM
This helped me these days when bitcoin was going up because I set it to get information. Once the price reached the alerting point I would just got alert and check trading view to see if it is correct and when I would checked all would be accurate. And that is why I also recommended to you after the first time I used it to get the alert.

So how does it actually help you, then? You're informed that the price has reached a certain point, you proceed to TradingView to confirm it, and yes it's correct, and then? You get back to whatever you're doing?

I don't know with others here but I've long stopped alerting myself of the prices. I used to when I tried trading. I stopped years ago with a little disappointment, and so now I already find price alerts of little use. I've now been hodling and I don't care much if I'm not informed of the price for weeks.

I guess the title says it all, It's just a notification, just to notify us and keep us informed and that's it. It's purpose is to keep us updated all the time.
We're quite like the same, I am also a hodler so I'm aiming for long term so price notification is just not too useful for me, it will just annoy me but for some traders maybe it is very useful and convenient for them.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC lawsuit caused massive market crash on: June 11, 2023, 07:36:50 AM
As I have observed for several years and learned about crypto these fuds, attacks, etc. are always there and we can't avoid them. Of course, some exchanges can't survive and are forced to shut down but they can't shut down cryptocurrency as a whole. These are just small trials on our long journey ahead. I am new to this industry I've been here in 2 bullrun 2017 and 2021 if I'm not mistaken and these fuds keeps coming from either china, US, or other countries releasing bans on crypto, etc. But when the bullrun and bitcoin halving is nearing they are releasing a train of good news for crypto.
Specifically on Binance case, I trust CZ will resolve it. check No. 4 on CZ tweet. https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1610018096122851328
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: March 07, 2023, 07:10:19 AM
Altcoins will never be dead, what do you think if only Bitcoin exists? It will be boring, Altcoins give colors to the blockchain. No new blockchain technology will exist like this NFT. etc. but in some cases, I have read some articles that they launched NFTs on the Bitcoin network but I don't know if it's real. These days NFTs really help the market in fact some NFT projects have their own route, sometimes they are going in an uptrend when BTC is going in the opposite direction.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful with this so called Integration Wallet website on: January 12, 2021, 07:38:26 AM
It is a pretty aggressive move trying to lure us and enter our seed phrase, etc. Even if it is legit no one will surely like this, what if their wallet will be compromised? all your wallets will be affected which is not really good. It is better to use different wallets on their own app for safety purposes.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / BSC Platform - CAKE, Etc. What do you think? on: October 20, 2020, 01:32:32 AM
Previously Farming is introduce in the Ethereum network which attracts some attention and it became popular. Due to Ethereum high gas fees. Some individual like CZ and Justin made their own chain for this kind of technology. Binance have launched their Binance Smart Chain (BSC) which attract a lot of projects and users because it is fast and low fees I guess that is natural because there are only a few users. Now Pancakeswap (CAKE) has been leading the  DEX and Farming on this platform, by the look of it,  it is looking good for me and their contract is already audited but still, this high yield farming is always risky and I don't think it will survive in the long term unless they reduce the yield slowly. What are your thoughts about it?

you can find some of BSC tokens here: https://bscscan.com/tokens-volume

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 SAFEST Cryptocurrencies to BUY right now! 💰 on: October 01, 2020, 03:46:19 PM
I don't really trust influencers/youtuber right now, they are just being paid to promote some project. It doesn't mean that an influencer is well-known that all of his promotions is legit. I have encountered so many influencers promoted  a scam project. Always DYOR and look for a project that are having a development for years or have a legit partnership, in that way we can minimize possible losses or rug pull.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next trend for 2021? on: September 26, 2020, 05:21:01 AM
Just like this year no one thought and expected that this DEFI/Farming/staking going to be a trend. So in year 2021 it will be a surprise and we will see what it is, when that year comes. It depends on the blockchain technology growth generally. For now, lets enjoy this DEFI and always try in your own risk because more scam are popping out.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap increased 75% on: September 20, 2020, 04:39:11 PM
So far, I can tell that Uniswap is the most successful DEX ever created, Before I have said a lot of times that DEX is usually stagnant, low volume and liquidity but uniswap made it work even with high fees on ethereum network their volume is still increasing. I guess that is why their token UNI is getting more attention apart from that they are giving a lot of money to Uniswap traders for free and UNI has staking features too.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deposit UNI = $50 Bucks on: September 20, 2020, 04:09:34 PM
Looks like they want to compete with Uniswap, Binance and OKEX and steal  some UNI volume  Cheesy by offering this $50 credits, It's not bad, it's a great offer but I guess most of the people already sold their UNI. These big exchanges can make a lot of money by trading fees that is why they create an alluring promotions/marketing.

18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Outrageous trading fees, should I switch to stocks? on: September 12, 2020, 03:23:04 PM
I suggest to find a p2p platform that is available in your area, you can get a fair rate about close to market price. If you want to make some profit why not register to centralized exchange and do buy and sell without any huges fees. I don't know if some exchanges has retriction in your country but that is your task to find out. Check binance first if it is available in your country and also they have p2p too but on limited countries.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Downloading into not safe website. on: September 11, 2020, 09:30:19 AM
When in terms of wallet, exchanges I never download from this APK site perhaps in games I have downloaded before, always go to the official website when it comes to sensitive data. What if you don't know the official website sometimes google is showing phishing? I have one trick most of these crypto related apps have coins and it listed on coinmarketcap from there you can confirm and click their official websites.
