Questo sistema è un'idiozia in tutti i sensi. L'aspetto più ridicolo è che gli attuali Legendary/Hero/Sr per arrivare al loro attuale livello non hanno durante la loro attività sempre e solo post di alta qualità, ma anzi scommetto che andando a rovistare nelle history si troverebbero post di tutti i tipi, dai "good project nice team" a post con un'immagine per un meme o strullate varie. Ed ora son gli stessi che difendono il sistema a spada tratta seguendo la linea dell'amministrazione di evidenziare solo i (pochi) aspetti positivi senza commentare o ammetterne le lacune. Per fare le cose per bene, nel rispetto della purezza e della qualità, introducendo il Sistema, i rank sarebbero dovuti essere resettati e ripartire tutti alla pari dal livello base.

It is a problem indeed.
In the same way (1) you found those three useless posts from that guy which rightly didn't receive any merits, (2) you can find, if you're willing, three or more excellent posts made by some other guy which didn't receive any merits either even if he deserved.
Find them, point me to them, I'll merit them (or you can merit them yourself, you know?). There already are several threads by people that are looking to be pointed towards good posts so they can give merit as rewards. Are you even serious? Why all good valid points against this system get funny replies like this? I am. If you want to recommend quality posts that deserve merit, collect them, write me a PM and I will review them. Should I agree with your recommendations, I have enough sMerit to reward those posts. (This is only valid for you, StelioKontos, I will ignore recommendation lists sent to me from any other account.) I'm not interesed in that kind of activity, thank you, but if you're willing to pay you can easily find someone to do the work. And you're missing the point of my original post that you quoted. The fact that there are quality posts not merited is already a flow to the system. The fact that they need to be constantly spotted and recommended, is a flaw. What if they won't get ever recommended? That person will try hard every day and maybe 90% of his efforts will go to waste. There are some very bad people like me, very evil people out there, who maybe prefers not to make rank up possibile competitors in future bounties or because they prefer to give precious merit points to his friends rather than to some excellent post of some unknow guy? |

this rule seems to strangle us who are still full member down, it only benefits the legendary members, please for the dt admin, give us waivers so we can also develop like you guys
It shouldn't be a problem to get enough merit to rank up if you make good posts, however, your last 3 pages aren't very promising. Quite a few posts in bounty threads and a lot of posts like this: I have a future plan with a deep union coin, I'm sure the price will jump up more than now, therefore I buy it for long-term investment, because I see dev so active, it makes me sure about this project
I'm sure this is something different from most crypto projects, it's really very promising for future benefits, hopefully the development of this project is good for the future. good luck and success for this project

If they could only print sMerit like Tether can print USDT... I´m just kidding  I thought the same thing this morning while I was on the toilet. If a "sMerit printer" does exist in the hands of few individuals and if there are no explicit rules to forbid the sale of sMerits, everyone can do 1+1 and see where this is gonna go sooner or later. sMerits, the new Tethers. |

To make this system fair as it should be its primary pourpose, we all should start from scratch, with no rank whatsoever.
At present time, it mixes old ranks farmed with old rules with new shiny merit rules.
It's a system that promotes fairness, born in the most unfair way, putting low ranks in an HUGE disadvantage.

This might not be fair for new people, I don't know if others will ever consider to give merit to newbies. Guess I had to been registered here like 1year back to get some kind of "good" positions. Juniors and newbies are often treated poorly and seen as funny guys around, not taken seriously.

The way I understand is that if you give merits to someone you lose that merit yourself am I right in thinking this? If this is true you could potentially derank by going below the rank requirements by giving people merits.

Note that it's not stated anywhere yet by the mods that you can't sell/buy (s)merit points, so they aren't actually infringing any rule yet. I'm taking the first post of this thread as reference of course, not some n-th reply. |

it really does feel like starting over which sucks... hope this system works for the best and does weed out the bots/crap posters

Because yeah, merit is subjective, and this is another flaw of this system. Also, it's not clear what happens when I'm caught selling merits points for BTCBTCBTC. Am I free to do that? Will I be publicly shamed in public plaza? Will I be permabanned from all our galaxy solar systems? |

Diciamo che i poteri forti che ridicolizzavano i bitcoin si sono resi conto che stavano perdendo un treno, e allora si sono messi d'accordo nel fare dichiarazioni allarmistiche, far scendere il prezzo e fare un po' di shopping.
Da analisi tecnica, potrebbe anche toccare gli 8k e poi rimbalzare a schizzo.

son d'accordo sul discorso del fud generlizzato per far scendere il prezzo. sull'analisi tecnica un po' meno, in crypto world imho non serve a nulla, basta una news scritta in un modo o nell'altro per far deviare l'andamento in barba a fibonacci o altro. |

Yes, however this is sort of like saying "If everyone stops using the trust system the nobody will gain trust ratings." While this is the case, it is a moot point, because it is not going to happen. There are sources, and these people will continue to use the merit system even if they are the only ones doing so; this will of course monopolize merit in an unfortunate way, so it is in everyone's best interest to use the system as intended, rather than ignore it as if it were never mentioned. This will makes ranks more valuable, disincentive spam and I highly doubt the 3-seconds it takes to merit someone will deter almost anyone. Are you that constrained for time? Time is critical and when you're not a whale and have to partecipate and follow many stuff in order to gather coin dust, you tend to optimize the little time you have at disposal in order to not doing stuff that take you away time without giving some profit in return. I don't see how and why someone who wouldn't even know me would give me some merit in order to make me rank up, so that maybe I'll take his spot in a signature bounty in the future and prevent him to join the very same signature bounty. Also I foresee how users who know each others from long time will distribute merits among themselves even without proper well written posts. (I didn't read the rules accurately so maybe this is not possibile) I hope this system will work out, but when you give power to users, it's a risk, there is always someone who will try to take advantage by cheat the system. |

If you have difficulties while solving the captcha, use Google chrome, and just sign in to your Gmail account in Gmail.com .
If you do so, your problem will be solved.
In most cases the captcha will show nothing.
For me, was quite the opposite. Using Mozilla Firefox in incognito I guess the key here is to renew the session somehow. The more you use it in an environment and under a configuration, the more it gets nasty. |
