It is going to sign for Doge if the Amazon accept doge as the payment method. I think the price of doge will start increasing the market and many people will start buying doge coins in the market.
Doge is becoming a fighter for freedom. And it would rise a lot. But I think a international company like Amazon won't accept just a single coin but will accept many different coins at once! And Doge will be one of them because it has a prospering community. |

I don't believe in a successful outcome of this petition. I heard that Amazon will be from October this year to sell goods for bitcoins. This is a more profitable option but this is not happening. The state does not support such trade. I'm sure that Amazon will not go into conflict with the government. They have something to lose. The petition will be without consideration.
Haven't heard the new president bashing against cryptocurrency yet. Not even on Twttr. Maybe Bezos is not brave enough. |

Dude, I love cryptos and all too. But this just isn’t right man. They are not forcing you to choose between these currencies just because it gives them a laugh. They are doing this because they love you. Lol.
Seriously though, they are making you choose between these currencies because these are the currencies that are being used widely by most of the people. And businesses will always choose the bigger number of customers than the lesser number. So I don’t think it is fair to hate them just because of this reason. Try to put yourself in their shoes.
What we see is that they strictly avoid to implement the currency of the people: cryptocurrency! They try to hold us down, they choke us and they force us to use their own currency: fiat! |

This will be nice if petition for dogecoin as payment method will be successful. An alt coin will be recognize in the world and they will also accept some cryptos like ethereum, litecoin and monero. If the amazon will accept it for sure other online seller and platform will also accept alt coin cryptos as a payment method for purchase.

You'd have to to create your own trading platform as you don't control payment methods on Ebay or Alibaba.
You can always sell things on this forum instead.
Seems to be a gap in the market of e-commerce platforms. |

To be fair, they're not forcing you because they want to. Those are the most widely used currencies. Making every single one available would incur additional fees for them, which the customer has to shoulder in the end.
It wouldn't be much better in crypto, because like USD or EUR, you're likely going to have to convert it into your local currency in the end.

There are no official word from Amazon that they are accepting crypto as mode of payment. This is just a petition. And we even don't know if Jeff really read those. But I have to agree that if ever they have decided to accept crypto, it will be a big boost for them as well as the ecosystem. Amazon is the #1 and the world's largest online retailer and accepting crypto will be a like close to widespread bitcoin adoption that we are all been waiting for. At the end of the day Amazon will accept or refuse. If Amazon refuses too long to accept cryptocurrency - then a competitor will jump in and take Amazons stake of the cake! |

I want to sell my things on eBay or Alibaba but want to choose which currency I will receive!
For example: I don't want to get USD but BTC or any other cryptocurrency. I don't want to be forced to take USD.
I want to be free to choose whatever I want.

Horrible eBay always forces you to receive USD, EUR or paypal.
If I sell my used stuff I want to choose which currency I get.
There is a lack of new trading platforms (similar to old eBay, old Amazon, old Alibaba) which offer their customers to choose receiving their desired cryptocurrencies.
These are free countries.
They have to stop forcing us!

Ok, so Vertcoin got high score from the CoinGecko community... but does this have some influence on anything? I don't think that for example price will go up just because of this.
