Wow, can't believe that's still causing us problems. Very painful watching the selloff today. It really looks like we'll be in a sustained bear market for quite some time. Good news hardly makes an impact, while even the smallest bit of bad news results in massive selloffs.

Hello everyone, it seems that a large majority of people are FUDing over this current bearish market. I think that late 2017 spoiled a lot of new investors into thinking that the crypto market only rises all the time, which is not the case for any healthy market. I think the bull run has begun. This time the price of bitcoin will grow along with altcoins in a mutual manner, which haven't happened in the past days. When the price increase gets ignited automatically we'll experience $2000 mark within few weeks time.
Just like you, I choose to remain positive about Bitcoin because I have been exposed to its history and behavior. In fact, we should be happy that the dip is not that enormous if we have to count it percentage-wise. I am so sure that Bitcoin would be coming back soon and we can experience another bull run maybe within the first quarter. Bitcoin is just gathering some needed energy before making another surge. This has been the way it is and we just have to wait and remain optimistic...as always! In no way am I trying to be negative about Bitcoin, in fact I tried to show the opposite in my video about how the altcoin/bitcoin run use to be on a rotation almost. I just know that we need the information/release of the lightning network in bitcoin is going to continue in todays day and age. |

Maybe I'm old but I like short and snappy videos... all the same, I took the time to reach the part where the title makes sense. Don't worry there. You're still a student and you've already gained something else. Invaluable lessons at such a young age. Makes me envious really! 50 BTC for a game item eh? I've had similar stories only at the end of 2016, when people offered me "shitcoins" because they couldn't or didn't want to pay in Bitcoin. I did small jobs as a freelancer then. I accepted some. Some turned out to be quite valuable later on. My very slight regret is only that I didn't get into it earlier, even though I read up and was capable. We all had our regrets. I might one day regret having to sell 2.5 BTC for 2500 dollars (I should be regretting it now but heh). Good luck with your live streaming! You said it yourself in the video. Your 14y/o self would have sold the Bitcoins before now. I have my own stories of where I lost big, as well. I'm talking about potential billions tens or hundreds of millions. Most recently, looking at the prices of XRB (RaiBlocks), I kick myself in the ass. I had over 50,000 XRB sitting in my wallet, and I ended up selling them for Bitcoin (when it was around $2,000 per) because I didn't want to spend fiat cash to get Bitcoin. If I would have been less lazy and just went with my usual method of buying Bitcoin, I would have easily held on to the XRB, which would have been worth over $1,500,000 USD today. ETH. same story. DASH. same story. SIA. same story. I should teach myself how to hodl better lol. But thanks for sharing your story, and I know it's hard to deal with instances like this, but hey, that's life. And keep remembering that you more-than-likely would have sold it long before this current point. Keep on keepin on, and great video! I like how you ended it on a positive note  Hey you, I dumped out over 100 XRB during spring cleaning last year. Deliberately. I felt it was a reminder of my faucet hunting early days and wanted to spend less time doing low quality stuff. Sure, it's only $3k today, but that's a lot of money where I come from. Be good, Joe! Thanks for the review, I think there are too many interesting coins on the market right now, but the question is which one will bring more profit in 2018? I'd invest only a little in this coin, they have a good team but their road map looks not clear enough...

I always like to keep a diverse portfolio in case one or two coins flop or a problem arises with the project. It is always good to hold a few coins rather than just go all in on one. Although I suppose if you really believe in the project, going all in wouldn't be too bad. It really just comes down to personal preference. |
