I don't feel attracted to any of coins you mentioned tbh. Shiba Inu, already increased a lot, I don't buy coins which are already popular. Elon coin sounds shitcoin. XLM fair choice I guess, this has been in market since long time but I see no hype around it.
So you also don't buy ETH or BTC because they are popular? It is not because a coin has increased a lot, that it can't increase any further (look at Solana). Agreed on Elon coin, that is just another shitcoin that is useless and has no use; XLM is not a bad choice, but it seems there is no real development around that coin anymore and you never really a big pump (or dump) for it also. Popularity comes in 2 ways , being popular because they are legit projects and have been in the market for long time that people are used to trust this . and the other one is about those being pumped and popularized by manipulator so yes they are mostly scam project or going to fool people .. Correct. but sometimes projects that are manipulated are sometimes more interesting. because based on data and marketing systems, they will exaggerate what they have with the aim of attracting and deceiving as many users as possible. |

I don't understand how coins have an APY system. don't they lose? It is true. Investing in established altcoins will be always better, the risk is lower than investing in new altcoins. Established altcoins have bigger chance to always survive in the market. We don't need to feel worried about the possibility of the altcoins to disappear due to massive delisting in the exchanges. They already prove that they have the ability to survive a long time for years. They also have strong fundamentals, so they probably have bright future. It is very different with new altcoins that are very possible to be delisted in exchanges if they have no progress in the future. Some new altcoins also become scam projects, the developers/teams take away the investors' money. At the end of the day, the new altcoins become dead coins. So, although the chance to get bigger profits from new altcoins is higher but the chance to lose all the money are higher as well. If I had $500 for investment, my decision has always been straight forward, all the $500 would be going to Bitcoin, most especially now that we are experiencing a little bit of bull run, and one of the most interesting thing is that this is the current highest price for this year. Just today Bitcoin has experienced 4%+ increase, how much more before the end of the year? To me Bitcoin is just the best coin to make your investment now, after all there are several coin which their price is tired to that of Bitcoin, so what's the point of investment in another coin when their influencer is doing just fine.
