1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EthereumBlue White Paper Released... on: October 28, 2017, 11:12:10 PM
EthereumBlue, EthereumDark, EthereumDiamond... List keeps increasing, wonder when this will end because it's getting kind off ridiculous now.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In it just for the money? on: October 24, 2017, 11:22:55 PM
I would say 95% of the people do it for the money and don't care about the projects. I have a 4 projects that I really care about but others I get in and out for the money.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where will the money go after the BTC fork??? on: October 23, 2017, 11:14:52 PM
I'm with the majority here, after the hardfork I think there is going to be a massive sell off of BTCG and BTC and money will float back to alts.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin are you going to invest in now? on: October 23, 2017, 01:54:41 PM
Deeponion and Postoken. Got some from airdrop but as I realized they are doing more work than many ICOs I have invested I had to get more of them because they will moon in next months.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is air drop?? on: October 22, 2017, 11:34:10 PM
im a little confuse of what is airdrop i cant understand how to take a bounty for it .. If you register or Sign up for the form can you earn a coin??

In a few words an airdrop is a model that a given project uses to distribute their tokens. In some projects they make the distribution and get funds by making an ICO, where they sell their tokens. In an airdrop tokens are given for free so they usually tend to develop things a bit slower (not always the case because there are several airdrop projects with more development than ICO projects).
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICO incoming, i'm lost in those !! on: October 21, 2017, 11:26:44 PM
I think very few ICOs will succeed from now on because there is to much projects/choices and people spreading their investments makes value increase more difficult, money doesn't stretch and for one person invest in one ICO they gotta remove money from somewhere else. I have been watching a trend where as soon the ICOs tokens hits an exchange many times will take a dip from initial price and my prediction is this is going to happen more often.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the 3 thing you look for in an ICO? on: October 20, 2017, 08:46:46 PM
For me it would be 1- Team, who they are, how many etc. 2- Aplication/inovation, how unique it's the idea behind the project, if it can solve any real problem 3- Marketing strategy, this goes in hand with the team factor, so if I see a good plan to spread the word about the project then the team factor gets more credit.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i trust EtherDelta with my Private Keys ? on: October 20, 2017, 12:41:31 AM
I have used it for a very long time and never had a problem there until now. One day I had a missing amount,  because there was a bid I had forgoten (my fault) and contacted their support that told me in a few minutes where I had the forgotten bid. As for the keys zero problems.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the importance of HODLing - CMC 2016 vs 2017 on: October 19, 2017, 08:15:44 PM
Insane year indeed. The problem I get and what bugs me most is deciding the amount I should convert to fiat from the profit. It's easy to say HODL or leave it all there but fiat is still needed in a day to day basis, wish I could leave all the profits sitting there though.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Searching for extra news - latest news on: October 18, 2017, 06:33:02 PM
A good Twitter account that post latest news from exchanges?
Or something like that

There's a list of some good tweeters, right here, -> https://www.influencive.com/top-blockchain-cryptocurrency-experts-follow-2017/ / https://99bitcoins.com/20-bitcoin-experts-you-should-following-twitter/

Also, look at some of the more popular crypto tweeters, and see who they are following, and follow those. They usually give good advice / updates. See for example, https://twitter.com/needacoin/following

And there are dozens more, you just gotta find the good ones.

There is indeed some good advice in twitter but you have to be very careful because there are some "experts" that seem to work together and like to promote coins that they already have or bought recently. Often I check their recommendations and to my surprise they are up like 20% or more in the last hour/day.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signup now for the free Accelerator token Airdrop (UPDATE: Start 3PM EST) on: October 18, 2017, 06:13:32 PM
The different time zone and airdrop starting time is very confusing, you could just use bitcointalk time, and btw why would you need someones phone number to give some random tokens in an airdrop, that's strange to say the least.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signup now for the free Accelerator token Airdrop (Supply 250.000) on: October 18, 2017, 03:09:16 PM
Not sure what everyone is talking about but when I follow the link http://accelerator.network/127.html I cannot see any form of any type in there. Wonder where you guys are actually submitting your entries for the airdrop.

The project looks good though.
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop after fork 25th on: October 18, 2017, 01:31:16 AM
Everyone can have its opinion but it's a fact nobody really knows what is going to happen after 25th. IMO I think it will take a dip simply because the last rally was based on the possibility of BTC holders guarantee their share of Bitcoin Gold and if this the higher price we get before the fork than most certanly we will see a dip after people get their part.

But hey, I hope it keeps on rising.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ Electroneum ⚡ Token Sale Sept 14th Mobile Mining Crypto Coin on: October 18, 2017, 12:41:41 AM
214,241 Registered Users? What you mean? 214k participants in your crowdsale? or registered where?
Not sure but i think it's registered users not participants. But at this hype, pretty soon this registered users can become a participants.

Where "registered" ? I cant believe, that they have so many participants. Its impossible!
I mean registered users at electroneum website.
Perhaps many of them have registered just out of curiosity. But it can also be like a marketing/cheating or something similar Cheesy

I'm a bit skeptical to, I mean, this Annoucement Thread has 73k views and if I'm not wrong a sinlge person can produce multiple views by viewing the thread several times a day. Even with all the external marketing done most people in crypto world goes to the respective project Ann before making any investment decision.

And if you take Deeponion has an example, its one of the projects with the most viewed and commented Ann threads in all the forum (787k views) and totals near 4k members in it's website.

But hey, if those numbers are correct it's pretty impressive.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] WORLD of BATTLES - eSports Platform + connects with Twich on: October 17, 2017, 09:12:59 PM
The 100% bonus for the first hour is very tempting. I also think that if you can solve the current problems in the eSports industry and make a competitive platform this project could do really well. Who knows if this is the platform that will take the eSports scene to a whole new level.

But one thing is sure, idealizing it is very different than accomplish it, you will have a very high mountain to climb but I really hope you guys can pull it off.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 14 of 40 Rounds on: October 17, 2017, 03:11:33 PM
Recently we asked from our community and made it to be mandatory to be part of official forums, now we prepare you to the next step which will allow us even stronger connection with our participants: we will ask from you to make few posts with over 50 characters in official forums weekly. This is not a rule in application yet. But we started to prepare necessary changes at background for this. As we can crawl bitcointalk we can do same for our own forum (or any forum). This is not a big deal. Also we plan to decrease 10 weekly posts rule for bct forums at the same time. This is a plan stage, and following weeks we will share more details on this.

Love this idea. The power of DeepOnion it's in the community and people should take the initiative to register and share their ideas and contributions in DeepOnion community forum more often. As soon as I started to use more time in there I could really feel what this community is all about.

17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex alternative? on: October 17, 2017, 10:15:40 AM
With the current Bittrex banning of unverified accounts, what are the best alternatives to this exchange? I personally use Bittrex, Finex and Poloniex. I know that Volume is one of the factors to choose what exchange should someone use. I would like to hear from the community some suggestions. Thank you!

Well you already mentioned the ones with the biggests volumes it then comes down either you looking to trade the top currencies or if you looking for some untaped projects that you will only find in small to medium exchanges and hope it goes big. In this situation I personally like Livecoin, coinexchange, cryptopia and novaexchange, as I never had an issue and found some good gems in there.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: October 17, 2017, 08:21:36 AM
I cant wait for the smart contracts and side chains, this is gonna be a ETH competitor
Just simply wait, dont be impatient. This is a buy and hodl coin. You dont make money by not taking risks.

Stratis gives ico investors huge gains, it proves it is a competent ETH competitor, wait for their delivery. And the price will go up again, next time we will be stable top 10 coin.

There is too much competition in crypto, last months been crazy with the huge number of new projects, money spread and now good news don't make a huge positive effect like it used to be a few months ago. IMO stratis can still be a top 10 competitor, it will be hard though, as I don't think we will see again those huge rallies like we used to.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Google Authenticator or Authy on: October 17, 2017, 01:06:42 AM
I have tried the two and my personal preference also goes to Google Authenticator. Never had a problem with none of them thouh, but I like GA a bit more. Try them both and find for yourself I would say and like mentioned above backup all the codes so you don't have any trouble later if you got any problems with your smartphone.

20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it more wise to invest in Bitcoin or in Ethereum for the next 5 years? on: October 16, 2017, 07:09:14 PM
In my opinion it's wise to invest in both. One (bitcoin) is used as store of value and due to it's limited supply it will keep on rising, and has it keeps getting more and more mainstream acceptance it can rise to very high values. The other (ethereum) is used more and more as the base of many projects that can become successful in the future and if they have success so does ethereum because of the gas used and thus increasing its value.
