61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Personal favorite on: September 13, 2023, 07:54:47 PM
I have heard of the casino, but in negative connotations. Some people here have suggested staying away from it.
I know that it's an option for US players who are typically banned from playing on Curacao-licensed crypto casinos. So, they don't have many good choices as players from other countries.

Still, I see no reason to play on a casino that requires I wager my deposits 3x if there are other platforms where I can just do it 1 time. I am not counting any bonuses here.
I have deposited, bet on one match, and successfully withdrawn from Sportsbet.io many times without any issues.

If they're having issues and negative feedback like that then why risk on them if there are actually lots of trusted casinos that we could play with? There are actually lots of casinos that ask for 3x to 10x your wager amount before withdrawal which is a hassle because you have to spend more to withdraw your profit. I've experienced it multiple times with different casinos and I learned that it's important to choose a casino that won't give you a hard time withdrawing the profit that is actually yours.
If there are already negative feedbacks about a certain casino, better stay away from it than to try your luck on them as there are still lots of good options that we could pick from.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How late is too late to place a bet for a gambler? on: September 13, 2023, 07:30:23 PM
In fact, any bet is good if it matches your strategy.
A strategy may be gotten from several mistakes or a constant mistake which seem to happen once we come in late with the intentions for earlier betting or betting when the game is under much pressure for goals or an equalizer.
An equalizer or foul are often the best options I have come to know, and the frequency of this gets intense once the final minutes are in view and players tempo has increased.
Everyone has their own strategies and tricks when betting and that is freedom and everyone has their own way of enjoying their bets. However, what is a mistake is an inability to evaluate each betting strategy used in making choices.
I am one of those people who doesn't really believe in luck because everything has cause and effect, except when playing slot gambling. So when we lose in betting it doesn't mean we are unlucky, but this is because the strategy and analysis technique we are playing is still lacking or in practicing the strategy it is not optimal, so this is where we need an evaluation to continue to increase our chances of winning.

There's no early or late when it comes to placing bets in gambling since our decisions to bet will depend on our financial and emotional preparedness. It is our personal decision whether to pursue gambling or not and the result wouldn't rely on the time that we gamble but on our strategy though there isn't any proven strategy that will guarantee good results but as long as we know how to deal with the risk of gambling, then we could enjoy it no matter what the result is.
I think we could consider it late when we're doing it unprepared wherein we aren't sure about what we're doing as well as the risk that we're taking. Somehow, I still believe in luck but I don't really rely on it. I think strategy and techniques will still be more applicable that relying on our fate.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 13, 2023, 07:10:35 PM
If you want try them out then make sure that they have an announcement thread opened on the Bitcointalk forum, few new casinos made it to the forum and still turn scam, they are been dealt with by raising an alarm and red tagging their account, This spreads information all over the forum and outside the forum, at least many are saved from becoming the next victim.
I mean yeah if they know this forum very well especially for a crypto casino but it shouldn't be the basis that if they have announcement here it's an instant legit casino. Well, partly it could spark some positive/negative reviews if it's in a forum but there are lot of forums out there. I think there are cases in here as well that a casino turn out scam even if they established a name. Having an announcement shouldn't be the basis or these reviews and feedbacks, just don't leave your money on their platforms.

That already happened oftentimes here. There are known casinos that used to have an ANN thread here but turned out scamming their players. However, compared to other forums or platforms, checking the announcement here is more reliable since we're getting opinions and feedback from gambling experts which we could use to determine whether a casino should be trusted or not.
I believe this forum is trusted when it comes to checking the trust rate of new or even old casinos. If we do deep research, we should always include checking on this forum first because we all know that fake reviews are everywhere in the internet nowadays.
64  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Over 4 million accounts ng Gcash ay binlock. on: September 10, 2023, 09:35:57 PM

65  Economy / Economics / Re: Teaching My Nephews About Wealth Through the Game of Monopoly on: September 10, 2023, 09:20:58 PM
I am thinking about teaching my nephews about wealth in a fun way through the game of Monopoly. I haven't gotten any better way to teach them about money and wealth aside this. I think so because of the lessons embedded in the game which includes,

(a) to build wealth, you need to own assets an not liabilities

(b) to build wealth, never put all your eggs in one basket. Always diversify your investment portfolio.

(c) to build wealth, you must  have proper and strong financial management strategies. Anyone who wants to be wealthy must learn how to manage their money, make the right investment and be able to pay off their debts.

(d) to build wealth you should be able to think strategically. Having a long term thinking in mind will enable you to make better decisions.

(f) to build wealth, you must have a well thought out risk management strategy in place.

(g) to build wealth, you cannot overlook the role that patience plays. Wealthy people are very patient people. They know when to make a move and when to hold on. They they understand that true wealth isn't built overnight but through years of hardwork.

These are some of the financial and wealth lessons that I think that my nephews can learn from playing the game of Monopoly. I am opened to your recommendations for other types of games that can be a great alternative or addition to this game as a fun way to teach kids about wealth.
monopoly is a legendary game, i also often played Monopoly with my cousin when i was little, but at that time I only thought of it as a game, not as an education about getting rich, your goal is good to teach your nephew about wealth as early as possible, but why do you do that, let him grow on his own while you have to be the one to guide him towards it, of course in a gentle and targeted way.

You shouldn't manipulate children's minds when they are still at play age, their curiosity is great of course but what they need is guidance, not doctrine.

I certainly agree with it, we can motivate them and nurture them to set a good goal for their future but we should always remind them that success couldn't only be determined by wealth. It might take them to greediness when they grow up if you will not enlighten them about the reality of life. You can educate them about the ways to reach success but you also have to guide them and approach them gently appropriately to their age.
Instead of focusing on wealth, teach them the importance of hard work and passion for what they love to do. Life isn't just getting rich, there are still goals that we have to achieve other than that. Teach them to be well determined to progress while enjoying what they do at the same time.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: September 10, 2023, 08:34:26 PM
What must be remembered is that only the best crypto can beat inflation. Saving fiat in the bank apart from the small profits you get, your assets will also experience a decrease in value every year due to inflation. It is true that the risk in banks is small compared to crypto, but for financial freedom in the future, crypto is still the best. If you really want to save, try not to go to the bank, even if you want to save other than crypto, maybe you could try gold.

Profits in crypto are a nice thing and you also have the opportunity to stake many tokens in order to get a low return without being exposed to the risk of trading. However, cryptocurrencies are still subject to extreme fluctuations and therefore I recommend that everyone exchange part of their profits for FIAT.

If you seek security and assurance, then stick with banks but if you're a risk taker and your goal is to make a better profit then choose crypto. You can actually do both at the same time. You can invest in crypto and when you make the target profit that you want, you can secure them in your bank then you can do it continuously. At least you're securing your profit already without putting it again in crypto.
Invest what you could afford to lose in crypto and put your crypto profit in your chosen fiat bank. It all depends on our target profit and the target time frame that we want.
67  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: September 10, 2023, 08:20:24 PM
If we have a good capital, we can earn a good profits from the market even though we don't know how to trade. The are companies that trade for people if we know the genuine because there are many fake trading companies that can promise heaven and earth and still do away with our money. Capital is one of the things that help a trader to earn more from the market especially if our Capital is huge.
Those who trade with bigger Capital tend to make big profits from the market if they are always profitable but if luck could not jam them then loses can be incurred.
I think if we are talking about large capitals, then it is no longer about trading, but about investing. If I have enough money that I can be financially independent, then I will not waste time on trading, I will just buy bitcoins and wait for the bull market and think that the profit I will make will be quite large, compared to what I I could make money in trading and at the same time I didn’t waste my time on trading, I just did what I liked. This is the advantage of large capital.

Well that makes sense, if you do have a large enough capital there is nothing wrong if you want to divert that capital to other alternatives such as buying bitcoin in large quantities and getting a lot of profit in the future. According to some people maybe this is a very good alternative with large capital, I'm not saying this is a bad choice but don't let you come because of the huge profits that exist in bitcoin, or because you see many professionals who have benefited with large amounts. In my opinion the market is still the same and all markets, especially in bitcoin, also move very volatile and with this it could be in addition to large profits but you can also lose large amounts of money. it is very possible, so that means that large profits will always be followed by large risks too, whether it's in bitcoin or in any asset you think looks attractive.

But yes if you really like it then go ahead because there is no prohibition whatsoever that prevents you, but I hope you will remain firm with the plans that you have made carefully, and still always have good risk management so that your losses do not exceed the amount of your profits.

It's fine to trade or invest huge capital but you also have to make sure that you're willing to deal with the possible risks as you know that the volatility of the market is really unpredictable and even professional traders fail as well. You have to make sure that you could afford to lose the capital that you will be using because that's how trading and investing works.
However, if you seek assurance, you could pick Bitcoin but it will take a long run before you make a huge amount of profit out of your capital. It will surely be challenging and it really need patient but what important is you're willing to take the risks and you are knowledgeable about how trading and investing works.
By the way, thanks for sharing.

Let's hope mag organize yung local crypto companies natin like coins.ph ng seminars dito sa bansa natin, also sa nga lugar na hindi kadalasan nangyayari yung events but accesible to all.

69  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 09, 2023, 09:37:48 PM
If we look at people who are very rich today, especially those around us, they are not playing with 100% luck, there is a big and tough struggle that they are doing behind it all, my uncle is a logistics entrepreneur, he once told me that when he first started his business he had to work every day for 7 days without stopping and monitoring so that the shipment could reach its destination without any problems, now his business is running systematically and he is just at home enjoying his relaxing time, he continues to motivate me that effort will not betray the results.
A great success comes to a big price, and its about the sacrifices and your decisions to make.
Lucky people usually don’t last being rich because they don’t have the foundation for that though some are becomes more wise when they already have the money. Being more successful requires a lot of time and big effort, but of course, the right mindset and the right investment decisions will still matter here because even if you work hard and don’t know how to work smart, it will be hard for you to succeed.

Luck will not always be our foundation. We could be lucky but if we don't manage our finances wisely, our earnings will lead to bankruptcy. It requires sacrifices, knowledge, passion, and hard work for us to build the wealth of life that we want. We can't always rely on luck if we aren't grinding hard to earn better.
If our target goal is too high then our efforts should be doubled or tripled. Life is always what we make it and the result will rely on how we deal with life's challenges. Earning is hard nowadays especially that the economic crisis is getting worse but if we will have perseverance then we will obtain the financial freedom that we want in the future.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos Should Also Be Prepared For Health Emergencies on: September 09, 2023, 07:51:03 PM
Health emergency is very important, but we are the ones being expected to always make provisions for anything of such, knowing that someone have a little or minor health challenge, we should try to make sure that we are always responsible for our health challenges and plan ahead before something ugly happens to us and we are left with no choice than facing the consequences, so we shouldn't expect casinos to do what we should engage doing, instead we are the ones responsible for our health and not the casinos to plan ahead for us.
Agreed, the casino is not a health management center for players, although they always have some staff ready to give first aid but above all, players should also be health conscious because almost all casinos that work under the law, they always check the age of the players and when the players are of legal age, they are responsible for their decisions. But to be honest, very few players listen to these problems, some people do not have cardiovascular and emotional diseases but with the pressure from gambling, these diseases are actually born.
Actually I agree with what you say and it is not only gamblers who are responsible for their bets but also their health which must be borne by gambler themselves when they feel they have a very dangerous illness such as heart disease, they should realize that it is better not to go to the casino.
But the question is what if a gambler who has no history of any disease suddenly has a heart attack while gambling.
I know that gambling places are places of entertainment, but at least if someone is sick, a staff member or anyone else in the casino must immediately provide help.

I think it is also important that casinos as well as their staff will be ready for this kind of unexpected occurences. If they don't have medic prepared, they should have their staff trained in at least the basics in case this happens.
Of course, the casino shouldn't be blamed alone because who knows, that gambler might be overplaying and spending long hours in betting. It would be better if they were ready so at least people would see that they did something to help their players during unexpected situations like this.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the size and frequency of online casino winnings depend on the time of year? on: September 09, 2023, 07:22:41 PM
I've never experienced such specific time related thing before. But i noticed, online casion keep changing their algorithm many times within a single day. Playing in morning experience will be different from playing in night,‌. Patterns, numbers serial and others thing suppose to be changed to me. Sometimes number of "Zero" keep increasing during rollover, sometime evening supposed as normal. Apart from that, when you play less, you'll win more and playing more with casion, i lost. i guess, they use some kind of algorithm which can't be beated for long period. But whatever op mentioned, is supposed to be superstation to me. Maybe his luck start favoring him in those months lol
Maybe because you don't take gambling seriously? But for those who do, they can do a lot of things, rituals, and they can track their performance this day, week, months and so on. This where they think there is some kind of a pattern if they see that some times the result are on repeat. It's not that the casino change their algorithm but it's normal and works automatically because casino games works in a random fashion.

This means there is no difference whether you play on morning or on night time but for the majority, they choose night time because of their day jobs. Maybe it's true that playing less can lead for an increased chance of winning. It's because casinos mostly have the edge, so if you play more often, you will also notice more losses.

Analyzing your previous gameplay and noticing the wrong moves will make you grow and won't put you into a stagnant situation. There's no specific time of period where we could gain the profit that we want but we could make every situation better by picking effective strategies, mantras, techniques and more.
It will be a trial and error process yet it will still be a big help for us to grow in the field. There's really no guarantee but what is important is we're always doing something to do better and try to win a better profit.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: for anyone interested in how much their personal data is worth on: September 08, 2023, 09:33:31 PM
If you look at it realistically, personal data, especially when it comes to a middle-income person, is an invaluable treasure trove of information for marketing agencies. Unfortunately, due to constant leaks, despite various laws, our personal data is virtually worthless today

The data of us was readily available now a days,So the worth of the data was not high now.But if you sell the data with the video verification, the data had high value. The reason for the fall in the data price is due the middle man,who sell the available personal data at very cheap. Many people selling the KYC of the developed countries at the value of 10-20 dollars. The middle man use to get data from the hackers from the government website, where the data are readily available of their citizens. The sale of KYC was the big business in the crypto industry now.

We can't deny the fact that no matter how we protect our personal data, there will still be companies who will steal it from different cookies and sell them at a cheaper price regardless of how it may affect us. We have no choice since we are always complying with KYCs nowadays and we are always providing our personal details to different institutions both local and international. It will be easier for companies to find data resources that they could buy and sell at a higher price.
In the latest technology that we have nowadays, we should expect that this identity theft will surely happen in the name of money so the best that we can do is just to protect our personal data the best way that we can do. Data protection isn't that strict right now, so we can always expect data selling anywhere and this has been already over the black market industry for over the years.
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is horse racing so unpopular here and a bit of extra feedback on: September 08, 2023, 09:08:12 PM
Things in the world have changed, and horses and horse racing are considered animal abuse because those who did these practices often did not even feed their animals well, they put hormones into them that made them change the normal balance of a horse so that they could give up, then these things as well as being hit, and they can do other types of things because they are not adequate according to the standards to be considered as animal abuse and as it is with betting, because things get worse, because Surely they review the conditions in which they have the horses and no, they determined that, like cockfighting, this is considered so.

Same with cock fighting and other gambling activities involving animals, lots of people are now aren't too comfortable supporting these gambling games. It's already considered animal abuse and I don't think that it would be fair that while we're enjoying, lots of animals are suffering. However, it's just a normal thing for the supporters of this game but if there were other gambling games or sports betting to enjoy, better pick them in my own opinion. Also, it's hard to analyze and have proper basis on where to be when it comes to horse racing because they're really unpredictable and be can also rely our decisions on the available data and statistics even if we do a deep research about their game history.
74  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Control Your Emotions and Win More Bets on: September 08, 2023, 08:52:13 PM
In gambling emotions will always be there and all gamblers must experience this, and you must be able to control your emotions and don't let emotions rule you because this will determine the outcome of your game.
And try not to think about the past, I mean past or previous defeats. Because it will cause emotions when you gamble, and play with full awareness, because you can control your emotions and when you are aware that you have emotions when playing then you can control or neutralize them. And make an intention before playing, that the purpose of playing gambling is just to have fun and also enjoy the game, because it will make you provide sufficient capital and stop if your capital runs out and will also stop when you win.
It's always there but you can control it and you can use it for your own advantage.
Winning will make you more excited and you tend to gamble more, this can also happen if you continuously lose with your bet so your decisions will matter it and make sure that your emotion will not influence your decision. Gambling is very risky and it's not advisable to those who can easily lose their temper and let the emotion takes over, gambling requires you to be more fit or else you'll lose everything including yourself.

Our emotions can trick us sometimes and it could also be the possible reason for us to lose even more if we wouldn't be wise enough to control it. It should be us who's ruling our gambling journey and not our emotions. It's normal to feel upset, overwhelmed or feel excited but we shouldn't let our emotions take over when it comes to decision making.
We should still be smart to make good decisions on when to stop and when to continue. Of course, we all want a good profit but I don't think it's a good idea to take all the risk most of the time. We always know our boundaries and limitations so we won't fall for our tricky emotions.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using Statistical Data to Win Sports Betting Picks on: September 08, 2023, 08:17:47 PM
Data and statistics are an important part of any sports betting.

To be honest every time I will bet on a football match, I will carefully check the data and statistics of the two teams. and that, will really help us in making a decision in betting. but what needs to be remembered, it is not only data and statistics that must be a reference. there are many other factors or also other elements in our judgment when researching and analyzing it.

In fact, it is more complex than just referring to data and statistics alone. It is also important to remember as a note, in sports or football betting, we are not only talking about data and statistics. data and statistics only as a complement to the methods we do in research. because in football we don't just talk based on data and statistics, because there are many other factors.

Scenario, first identify the type of sport that you like. from there, you will find out a lot of knowledge, understanding, as well as things to consider. Well, once again I say, betting on sports is not only based on data and statistics alone.

I'm actually doing the same thing all the time. I often check on the statistics and data of each team before betting so I'll have an idea or basis on where to bet. It requires deep research so you'll know their strength and capacity but there are some instances where the result rely on the game flow where unexpected result happens. I think there will really be times that the result would really rely on our luck but deep research will always be a big help.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give Him a loan Or Partner With Him on: September 08, 2023, 07:48:45 PM
What would be the best option if a friend who happens to be good at horse racing lost his fortune coming from betting in horse racing because of illness and came to you and asked for a loan and honestly stated that he wants to use it betting in horse racing to recover his fortune.

But you have doubts because he is away betting horse racing for a long period of time and he might lose the money because you have to be updated on the conditions of the horses, jockeys, and the many handicaps, and his anxiety about recovering his fortune might fail he offers you two options loan him money or just partner with him.

What's your best course of action in this scenario?

A common friend confided this to me.

If you will lend him money to gamble again, it's like you're supporting him to make wrong decisions again. It's better to advise him to look for a regular and decent source of income rather than borrowing funds to gamble again. He already experienced failure so he shouldn't rely too much on his luck because gambling is a risky thing and it's not a good idea to borrow funds to to bet.
Gamble only with the funds that you can't afford to lose and not with borrowed money that you won't have any assurance that you could pay it back in time. Better be sure than to take another risk where you would face consequences.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Still not a safe practice even if it works on: September 07, 2023, 10:12:52 PM
I would only be wary of VPN concessions not being explicitly written on the user terms page although support may write that elsewhere. When problem solving has to be handled by handing over identities, it becomes a new problem if it's basically a country on the list of restrictions. For shady casinos, this might be an opportunity to cancel out a big win.
Absolutely true. If the TOS explicitly prohibit the use of VPNs, it's advisable to not use it and to avoid potential problems with your account, such as being flagged or locked and even if the TOS does not mention VPN usage, less reputable casinos might invalidate huge wins due to VPN usage as you already mentioned.
I have never done this myself, as I tend to adhere strictly to the ToS. Then it is not surprising to see threads in the Scam Accusations section, where members accuse houses of scamming where you end up knowing that those members broke the rules in one way or another, as could be in this case playing from a country where it is forbidden (explicitly excluded in the ToS) and doing it with VPN to mask where they are playing from.
Me either but who wouldn't be? When our own money is at risk here and as well as our gambling accounts if we already build a good level of VIP on it. You are right that lots of scam accuse cases are from users who don't follow the rules properly. It's funny or crazy that these people have the guts to do it while those are truly got scammed or have experience a problem on a legit casino are rarely making a thread here.

Those people are more professional or too kind to let those type of casino but they will surely add those casinos on their black list. There must be a casino which are legal from our country. It only takes a bit of research or reading. There is no need to take more risk, as we are already taking more by playing a gambling.

It's hard to risk on something that will affect our funds in the future. It's better to fully comply with the casino TOS than to violate their rules just to pursue what we want. If we're living in an area where such casino is prohibited or if they don't support our country, better choose casinos that do rather than risk our funds through using VPNs which could also be the reason for us to lose everything in the future.
We should be skeptical, especially with anything that involves our funds rather than risking and trying to escape the TOS of each casino.
78  Economy / Gambling / Re: My Take on iGaming Promotion Through Social Media on: September 07, 2023, 09:35:44 PM
~
Anyway, social media is probably the NOW and the nearest future of iGaming/Gambling promotion. Although most operators still uses affiliate networks and partnerships as core of their marketing strategies.

I'm just surprised it took them this long to use social media. It's been one of the best methods for promotion for a long time imo, just that there's probably a lot of limits I guess in connection with gambling since it's, well, gambling. But I reckon it would've still been a boost to their engagement imo. It's also a metric that helps understand the current engagement that they have with their users. I'm pretty sure Twitter itself is pretty lenient with gambling content, and it's a lot easier to see engagement there if properly grown as well.

Social media has always been the best way to promote casinos and other businesses but there will always be restrictions on some platforms like Meta. There are still limitations and requirements that the casino should comply with. I agree that Twitter would be better just like what other huge casinos do to promote more. Igaming has really been succeeding in engaging with their promotions which I think is a good sign and gambling and new forms of gaming have been really innovative these days. It's just that we, users, still have to be skeptical because even scam casinos are now spending funds on Social media promotions.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your perception about crypto games? on: September 07, 2023, 09:15:06 PM
There are varied crypto games we tend to be fond of that does rely on bullrun to maintain playbase. Another words they perform fine in bull market.

What are your views or perceptions about such games.
I don't think so that crypto games or crypto gambling rely on bull runs or bear runs but their performance will depend on how good their service is. My perception about them is that they are fun and they are a great addition in the crypto world, making crypto more in demand but we only need to be careful on them, as they are addictive.

Our goal must only be to play for fun and not to lose a lot of money or destroy our lives. If we want to make money, crypto investing and crypto trading can mainly provide it better because skills and knowledge can matter here. It wasn't controlled by a single entity only like gambling where they can manipulate the results easily.

I don't think gambling casinos are fully affected by the volatility of the market. They remain standard no matter what the crypto prices are which I think is still an advantage to crypto casino players.
Maybe it does affect those who keep their funds in exchanges and casino wallets but when it comes to betting, the same currency goes around the casino regardless of the coin's current value. Some gamblers prefer to avoid gambling during the bullish season and just take their funds as a profit after storing it in the casino wallet but the action could be taken depending on the perception of a gambler.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: September 06, 2023, 10:25:13 PM
That usually happens and normally occurs in the crypto world. It's a do or die game depending on the risk that you could take. Not all altcoins regardless of their hype or active community could survive in the long run. That's actually the risk of crypto investment, not all coins that you're buying would be profitable.
That's the reason why you have to be skeptical about buying them. You should base your decisions in the reputation and potential of a coin and not just of its popularity and hype. If you seek assurance. better choose coins with stronger foundation especially top coins that have already passed lots of tests of time. Shit coins could be everywhere so you should always do a deep research.
