1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Storichain - DApp and Agreement Protocol for Story Industry Value Chain on: November 09, 2019, 03:34:02 PM
Still no distribution of bounty from BitcoinTalk bounty, what's going on? No updates or anything.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we in a silent bull run?? on: July 15, 2019, 10:17:28 PM
Biggest risk you have is all the people that got in late 2018 now seeing it hit levels where they're willing to cash out after seeing it slump massively before. It could just as easily rebound back down to all time lows.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump's statement against cryptocurrency on: July 15, 2019, 09:33:17 PM
He's an idiot, it might do the community some good as anything he says is rubbish alot of people are skeptical and will do their own research. Yeah I know there's half of the population in USA that won't but any new audience is good.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: July 15, 2019, 09:31:33 PM
Because the amount of money I'd make on it now, is pennies compared to the potential pounds I could make in a few years if it goes exponential.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: July 15, 2019, 09:20:05 PM
I normally check out the legendary status post history, if it's purely only promoting new bounties I tend to stay clear as they're most likely just hoping from any old project to the next without actively taking part in the rest of the forum.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can now build a Blockchain in under 10 minutes on: July 15, 2019, 09:18:28 PM
That's good that it's possible I guess the biggest question would be why? What's the use cases for people creating their own block chain. Those are the sort of lessons that need to be taught.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: July 15, 2019, 09:16:48 PM
Lesson learnt, from early this year so slightly cheating is buy in the dip and don't lose faith. Kicking myself for not buying back into Eth when it hit the lows this year.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized exchanges vs Decentralized exchanges on: July 15, 2019, 06:51:56 PM
I thought centralized exchanges were a mix of the two aka their often just a front end GUI to interact with multiple decentralized exchanges?

I know there is some platforms that are purely centralized but I'd have thought the majority were still DEX
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange asking to Login thru Facebook on: July 15, 2019, 06:49:23 PM
I can see more exchanges adopting it, not because of KYC but because of the increasing adoption of Microsoft B2C. What would you rather, option A - a new exchange trying to implement it's own secure authentication mechanism in which a single flaw compromises all your tokens and thousands of other users or B) utilizing one already created by a world leading company?

You could argue anyone capable of coding an exchange should already know what their doing but it's one less thing for them to have to worry about when developing.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop badmouthing new projects on: July 15, 2019, 06:46:53 PM
With Crypto ICOs you see how many companies fail, it's probably similar success hit rates with real companies you just never see them because they've gone bust before you even had a chance to hear about them.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: July 15, 2019, 06:44:13 PM
I honestly think it's going to take a big mobile phone supplier to have a crypto app payment method built in to seriously get things moving. The more big companies considering security I don't think it's beyond the impossible to happen.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] PAVO - IoT Blockchain for the AgTech Ecosystem on: February 05, 2019, 07:30:09 PM
Did anyone actually get any bounty on this? It ended ages ago and never received my tokens.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you tried setting up a Masternode? on: July 07, 2018, 08:49:09 PM
I did look into it at one point but found that
A) I missed the boat with all the legitimate looking coins which now require thousands to invest before being eligible with the amount of tokens required
B) A ton of shitcoins had sprung up offering masternodes with no other benefit to the currency and was just a scam praying on people being interested in masternodes
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union getting into crypto on: July 07, 2018, 08:47:00 PM
Companies file patents all the time doesn't mean they're going to do anything with it. Check out all the patents that Nintendo register each year
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some ico failed on: July 07, 2018, 08:43:53 PM
There's been too many and very little results so people have lost confidence. Problem is any legitimate ones now are going to struggle to get backing.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: July 07, 2018, 08:43:12 PM
Sold all my PundiX coins soon as price started dropping slightly only for them to go 10x about 4 days later. Was absolutely gutted.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is TETHER a SCAM? on: July 06, 2018, 11:15:41 PM
Even if it turns out to be a scam people will continue to use it. It's like the early days of a pyramid scheme those that use it and get out before it bursts will profit or reap the rewards (easy currency conversion during downtrends). But if you get left holding when it inevitably crashes they'll be worthless.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Crypto Currency? on: July 06, 2018, 11:13:28 PM
Wait until eth falls below $300 then jump back in with both feet and wait for price to climb again. It definitely feels like we're in a down turn at the moment, not many news outlets are talking about Crypto anymore. It's like the buzz has died.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will pump again? on: July 06, 2018, 11:09:00 PM
The way the markets slowly dying at the moment I think you'll be waiting quite a while before it goes back up to $2+. If your not in any rush to sell though don't suppose that's an issue I think it will eventually.
