81  Economy / Speculation / Re: The fourth quarter of 2018 not the brightest on: November 18, 2018, 12:59:08 PM
Yep, agree on that the fourth quarter of this year Bitcoin suffered a lot and literally bled its guts out. Many were left wondering if this is just a phase that bitcoin will have to over come or is this the beginning of a slow and painful death for bitcoin. It is just so disappointing to watch the total reversal of the trend that bitcoin once put on last year.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is dead many times! on: November 17, 2018, 10:18:54 AM
If you are going to look at the trend of btc from the day it started, you can see there that bitcoin continues to improve when it comes to its value as the years go by. Yes plenty of times bitcoin suffered a big dip and then come back higher than the value it had before the dip, the trend continued to be like this until now that it is at $5500. Sure tgis is a tough year for all of us but let us just be patient with all of this, bitcoin will ressurect from ashes.
83  Economy / Speculation / This year is a total opposite of last year on: November 17, 2018, 08:52:03 AM
While some of us are aware that BItcoin suddenly took a huge dip from a stable $6400 to a shocking $5400 dip late this week. A total opposite of what had transpired last year of fourth quarter where bitcoin skyrocketted its value to almost $18000. Many are left wondering what is happening to bitcoin or will it be the end for the coinn what do you think about the current situation?
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening? on: November 16, 2018, 04:16:05 AM
While your observation is true, it can also be noted that BTC's value is steady at $6400 ish. Unlike before its value was close to $5k, i think it will not come down to ashes because there are still more people believing in BTC and also have come to still transact using bitcoin.
So what do we do now?
You can opt to purchase BTC now but be on the watch for possible losses , but i think lonng term investment is feasible for BTc. If on the other hand you chose big returns you can invest in other coins but the risk of massive loss will be there, it is okay provided there is a big chance of returns (researching first before buying will be critical on this part). All in all, we cannot really do anything but to watch and act based on the movement of the market.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for the bull market!!! on: November 16, 2018, 03:24:49 AM
Strongly agree on this one. We all know that the market continues to bleed red and what we can do as holders is to hold.  If we panic sell all that we have, at the end of the day, we will be the one  who lost. Remember that you can never be on the losing side if you have not sell what you have. The only people you're pacifying are the whales and sharks ready to devour large amounts of red in graphs.
It is also true that we cannot really know when the next run will come, all that we can offer now is our patience in waiting for this season to be over with.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise again in 2019 on: November 16, 2018, 03:01:02 AM
It is very painful to watch how a strong coin like btc suddenly went on a coma at $6400. Saddening to see all these investors turning their back on the once alpha coin. It will be possible that bitcoin will be less volatile in the coming years and another of its kind will rise from creation and will be hailed as the next BIG COIN. Everybody here cannot deny that they really woud want a comeback for BTC.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who/what will fuel the next bull run? on: November 14, 2018, 05:19:22 AM
In my perception, the next bull run will be initiated by a mass migration. I can observe people getting fruestrated with FUD about bitcoin that now they are looking for a more useful coin to transact with. The second in line ready to take on BTC is the forked version -- BCH. BCH had been on a good pricing lately and this is slowly catching the attention of crytomigrants. If this will continue to make a roar, then we might be seeing a slow death for BTC.
88  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin worthy to buy ? right now? on: November 14, 2018, 03:19:01 AM
This will be a good time to sell-- bitcoin is going down and people are just dumping on it. Meanwhile on the other side, people are getting the scraps of bitcoin that they can lay their hands on hoping that there will be a next bull run and make themselves rich. but if you are going to study the trend for this year, it is not looking good for the upcoming years for BTC. New coins are emerging and soon BCH will overtake BTC.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin stay relatively stable and become a stablecoin? on: November 14, 2018, 12:55:06 AM
In my opinion, BItcoin will soon get to that "stable" state soon. We cannot really control how bitcoin will turn out for the coming years but as for the trend and how it turned up when it hit the moon, I think it will be a downward spiral from here on. Maybe BTC will be in steady at $6400 rate (as it is showing this past months). We cannot deny that there are a lot of coins that can replace BTC. Most investors now are thinking of investing into these coins because it is noticeable that BTC is propagated with whales.
90  Economy / Economics / Is the use of credit cards a strong indicator of a nation's economy? on: November 13, 2018, 09:50:41 PM
As some may have observed, highly developed countries like the US encourages their people to use credit cards for transactions. Cash transactions are still used but mostly they prefer people to have their credit cards. I want to know if having a credit card really necessary even if they can afford to pay in cash? Are credit cards reflective of your ability to pay?
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: November 13, 2018, 10:26:26 AM
It's just a bunch of independent computers, who verify transactions by solving complex math tasks.
For that work (solving complex math tasks),they get rewarded with bitcoins. This is also known as bitcoin mining.

This was exactly how it was explained to me by someone trying to convince me to do signature campaigns. I really don't get it at first because I just don't get how people are getting paid just by campaigns and where do they get those money to give bounty hunters adding up to that, how does block chain works. But thankfully they have explained it to me in the most simplest way that I can understand.
Going back to the topic, I think that we should be focusing more on how to further educate people on how blockchain works. It will be beneficial to them in a sense that this is technology and soon more and more people will adapt to this technology.
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Are fiat currencies necessary in the world? on: November 13, 2018, 06:24:51 AM
Even though, Cryptocurrency is slowly getting ground and getting recognized by people, Fiat currency will still be the preferred method of transacting simply because of the tangeability factor. The confidence of customers and sellers in transacting relies on soething that they can hold. Besides, fiat is a more stable form of money that digital assests like bitcoin et al. So I think tat explains why people are more comfortable in fiat.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: November 13, 2018, 12:48:19 AM
ICO investments are risky simply because of the anonymity factor in this. you never know who are you transacting with. You just have an email confirmation on this and you really can never track if something came up. On the other hand, you can really never tell if the market is good or not, especially now, the market had been very unstable, so your investments will be. If I am allowed to give an advise, I would suggest to just invest a fair amount that you can afford to lose. and do research first before investing.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: You Can Now Keep Your Bitcoins In A Bank on: November 12, 2018, 11:38:15 PM
This is a giant crypto-leap for every holders and investors out there. This is something that mose of us are waiting for and dreaming of.  With this breakthrough, they recognize that bitcoin is not some phantom coin nor a ponzi scheme. them backing up bitcoin gives assurance to holders out there that their bitcoins will be protected and backed up by big banks like this and soon more banks will adapt this step also.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you have to make big investment before you can make profit in crypto? on: November 12, 2018, 11:18:03 PM
You really do not need that big amount of an investment to put in in crytocurrency. It is just that when your investments are big, then and there you can appreciate the returns of your investment. For example, when you want to trade tokens, small investments made can yield small profits also in exemption of a coin that goes to the moon, so your money will also be. But in my opinion, people selling houses just for cryptocurrency will be insane.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: November 09, 2018, 01:24:34 AM
The people actually transact using their guts. Your observation is on point amd that's the sad reality of cryptocurrency. I think the principle : buy low sell high is outdated for this year. We should all be guided with how the trend actually is right now: it is buy fast and sell fast. This is a wrong practice as this one shows lack of appreciation and study of the coin. People should start studying coins to fully appreciate its value and use.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: November 08, 2018, 11:40:52 PM
Please calm down. The negative response is unnecessaryy and will never be helpful. Bear in mind that cryptocurrency is not like our fiat currency that is easily influenced by how the world ec0nomics is behaving. Cryptocurrency is kbown yo be very volatile and unpredictable most of the times. But rest assured sir that these things will not be temporary as most coins are undergoing correction. For the mean time we should all be wise in our investments and calculate our moves.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines starting to accept and adopt cryptocurrency. on: November 08, 2018, 01:14:24 PM
Looking forward for this one to happen as Philippines is a rising country with all the infrastructures being built, soon enough their economy will also rise too. With the adoption of cryptocurrenccy in the financial system of the country, a big bulk of transactions will most likely be for ease of payments-- this will pave the way for Filipinos to actually pay at the convenience of their homes and at the convenience of their time. On the other hand, meticulous regulations should be established for cryptocurrency to prevent malevolent people from transacting for their mischievous acts guidelines should also be laid to protect the investors as well.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Apart from trading where else to use crypto? on: November 08, 2018, 06:01:33 AM
In my personal experience, I haven't used any other function for crypto asides from trading. Trading fo me is the most profitable way to earn money in the cryptosphere-- provided the patience and also basic understanding of how trading works. If our country will adapt crytocurrency in the finance system then most likely, the first function of it will be payment for services like for government transactions or even bills payment. Cryptocurrency has got us covered from purchase to lifestyle so I am very optimistic to be using crypto in our daily operations.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: LETS KICK OUT POVERTY USING BITCOIN on: November 08, 2018, 04:18:15 AM
I strongly believe in the ability of BItcoin and other Cryptocurrency to kick out poverty. This is a medium for people to switch from high-interest banks to a freeer way to handle their money, this is through cryptocurrency. If all people becomes educated on how it works, how we can trade using it or how can it be more convenient to transact with it, then sooner or later, people will start adapting the technology and leave the old form of money handling. Bitcoin can really be a way for us to breakout from the poverty line (doing bounties and getting paid for it is a first).
