701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: April 23, 2018, 08:33:13 PM
It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.

Well I guess we can not throw off with those kind of people in our lives, but we know that it is also our responsibility to do our own due diligence about things in order for us not to be scammed.

703  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Struggling to Reach Over 9K on: April 23, 2018, 04:14:23 PM
https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-struggles-above-9k-as-bull-breakout-stalls/

It seems as though the bull market everyone is hoping for and expecting is on pause at the moment. BTC has hit a point where every time it touches 9k, many sell orders go through and push it back down just below this mark. There will be a time when buys will overtake these momentary road blocks. Until then its just a waiting game.

Good Luck Traders,
The Elysian Team

Just maybe those whales are waiting for those hopeless people to ride the rocket and we could all go to the moon with them. I'm buying now.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear of bitcoin on: April 22, 2018, 05:30:46 PM
Why are some governments so keen to prove that bitcoin is dangerous. Recently, the Indian government sent notifications to the citizens that they should not invest in bitcoin.

Just because they see that it will drive people to invest on Bitcoin without knowing in pros and cons, they just go in just because of the money.
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum VS EOS on: April 22, 2018, 04:48:29 PM
Ethereum - POW(POS in future), is more decentralized, ...
EOS - DPOS, faster transaction,  ... (can you give me more?)a

The ICO for EOS ends in May as i know, and will it be able to beat Ethereum?

I do believe in EOS it has the same structure with ETH and I have accumulated much EOS as I could since people are saying that it could reach $300 per EOS before the year ends.
706  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich on: April 22, 2018, 03:09:12 PM
This is my opinion.Banks won't make you rich.saving in bank can never do that, because of interest rate that bank gives you is too tiny. You saving will be simply be eaten up by the sleepy monster called inflation. As a example I will take ,When I'm in grade school, each day I received 10Rs (my country currency) from my mother. It was enough to by me 2 meals, but in now 10Rs enough to buy 2 candies.  Lips sealed Banks are just for keep your money safe!  Tongue

You are the one who could make yourself rich not anyone. And I think it is not also safe to make them secure your money, therefore blockchain was made for us to secure it for ourselves.
707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble? on: April 21, 2018, 05:47:24 PM
Hello community,

I have heard some reports that 'someone' has put $1 million on Bitcoin being $50,000 before the end of 2018 and other conflicting reports that Bitcoin is a bubble that is going to burst. I understand this is very much a time will tell kind of question and some may argue that the press has said bitcoin is  going to burst/fail since it came out but look at it now... and I understand there may be at least a chance it could be worth $1 million in the future.

What I am asking is what are the big Bitcoin holders thoughts on this are they bailing or are they holding for the long hall, if they are holding can 'The Bitcoin Bubble' really still burst?

I have most of my eggs riding in this crazy but attractive world and would really appreciate inside feedback.

Thanks for reading  Shocked Cool Huh Undecided

If Bitcoin is a bubble then it has already been burst out of that bubble, but then again, it is going to inflate itself again in no time.
708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: April 21, 2018, 04:58:55 PM
Most of the time there difference of price exists so do you withdraw bitcoins from one exchange and sell at higher rate exchange?

Yes, I do divide my funds for trading on different exchanges in order for me to lessen the risk of making my self poor just because that exchange my go out of service anytime.
709  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: April 21, 2018, 04:14:15 PM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?

Nope, surely I could profit on my own without those kinds of information. There are too many things to see in order for you to have a good profit.
710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Investing and Trading for begginers.. like me. on: April 21, 2018, 03:50:13 PM
Hello everyone!

Can you give me an advice what are best way to earn additional profits aside from participating in a bounty campaign and joining in some airdrops. Someone's told me that investing and trading is a good way to get more profits but I don't know how yo start.

What are the difference between Investing and Trading?  Which is good for begginer like me?

Can I start in small investment and trading?

Please share your knowledge and experiences.

Thanks

If you want to go trading then you have a long way ahead of you my friend. You are going to incounter a lot of failures and losses, but that would serve as a lesson for you and will eventually become a good trader.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: If the world uses a single currency on: April 20, 2018, 03:37:38 PM
If the world uses a single currency, will the economy be more stable?
This is a very interesting question. The sovereign nations issue their own currencies and are taken for granted by many people, but few consider whether this is the economically optimal option.

That idea has some possibility but I do not know if the other world leaders will vote up for this. But if it does happen, I know everyone in the world will unite as one currency.
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - a short pullback or a long-term bottom? on: April 20, 2018, 03:05:28 PM
After 5 months of heavy selling pressure, Bitcoin and altcoins have signaled to a bullish momentum pattern to buy. The recent low of roughly $6,500 comprised a 75% loss in value from last year’s highs of approximately $20,000. Currently, as with many other cryptocurrencies market, it finds as though the next move for BTC will likely be either more bullish momentum towards the 23.6% retracement area and even $10.000, or a declining pattern to retest the descending trendline that BTC recently overcame.

I believe that bitcoin and many blue-chips have completely bottomed out and have been confirmed both by hedge funds independently and technical analysis tools. What do you think?

I hope that definitely that this is a new uptrend and only will only have a short retracement. Although we are not so sure about this one.
713  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In this down market how your doing? on: April 20, 2018, 02:39:02 PM
For the last market down moment I have already accumulated some of the cheapest coins I could have and it went so good after that down market that is not a uptrend.
714  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: April 20, 2018, 02:18:50 PM
I think promoting bitcoin stability is partly a matter of avoiding the alcoint crisis, major changes in cryptocurrencies activities, high inflation, and excessive volatility and alcoint markets. Instability can increase uncertainty, inhibit investment, hamper the growth of alcoint.
for your opinion.?

I think it is important for us to use Bitcoin as a payment method. It's kinda hard to do that if the price is so volatile.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rothschild Family and Bitcoin on: April 20, 2018, 01:54:24 PM
Rothschild family is entering in bitcoin market.

What may happen, is it a good news or bad news?

How much can it go wrong?

Any ideas?

It may be good that everybody will eventually be hype to get in the market and also be bad because maybe they will try to manipulate the market also.
716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade is more a lucky thing or skill on: April 19, 2018, 06:29:11 PM
I'm not sure if I have time to play with charts and trade a lot, like I have seen some youtubers doing.
They make you really believe that is more like a skill and if you are good at it, it works.
My friend told me that is just about how lucky you are, and not a skill.
So, should I stick with holding or playing day trade is a better option?

Sometimes I do not believe in charts, all I do is feel if the market is right to trade and see people if they are all bullish or bearish.
717  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: April 19, 2018, 04:07:29 PM
I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.

Our government here in the Philippines had already found out about crypto currencies, and they alreay signed something to allow it.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I stop looking at Bitcoin Price on: April 19, 2018, 03:47:46 PM
I just stop looking at bitcoin price. It hurts me actually, that's why I took this decision. I am holding few of BTC and I will not look at my wallets too for 2 months. I hope after 2 months when I will go to see bitcoin price, maybe I will scream happily. What about you guys?  Grin

If you want to be a long-term investor then you really do not need to see all the time the price of Bitcoin.
719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where do you get your predictions? on: April 18, 2018, 03:38:35 PM
hello!

for me being new to cryptocurrencies i would like to know from where do you get your predictions about the price of not just bitcoins but other cryptocurrencies?

I have got all my predictions from my friends in our GC and some are from free telegram groups but I do not trust them 100%.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: April 18, 2018, 03:02:13 PM
If cryptocurrencies will be the basic mode of exchange in the future, what will happen to the banks then?

I think they will be alarmed and would start to tell their governments to stop the process or they could join in with the people to adapt the community of cryptocurrencies.
