Well, that's everything. It was fun, I might be back in a few months to sell more tickets. Many thanks to Projects and mornaner for the smooth transactions.

Thanks mornaner, you bid only minutes before I received an offer for all 250! The other 150 are being traded as I type this.

Hi Projects, I'm very glad to see your offer. However I would really prefer to use escrow for this trade. I'm new, and this is a lot of money for me. I was under the impression that bitmit charges the seller for the service and not the buyer. If you're worried I simply don't have the tickets, I can show them to you beforehand.

Hey everyone,

I have for sale on Bitmit with escrow 250 tix in 2 lots of 100 tix each and one lot of 50 tix 100 tix. Asking only $0.89 per ticket. Links here: 100(SOLD), 100(SOLD), 50(SOLD)

Also on Bitmit I have the two one gift card, asking $45. For simplicity's sake I'm trying to sell the cards as codes for online orders. However the Target card is not scratched, and if it'd smooth out the deal I'd be just as happy to mail it to any US address at no extra charge. The Barnes and Noble card is fully seven years old, so I decided to scratch it to check the balance. Links: Target(SOLD), B&N(SOLD)

I'll be checking in often during the day, feel free to leave me any questions.

The more the merrier I say. Wider adoption is a very good thing.

$50 is possible, but it seems unlikely. Something really dramatic would have to happen to make it drop that far.

Mtgox is a bottleneck for sure, but I don't think the volatility will be going away even if a bunch of good alternatives show up. It won't get much better until more businesses start to accept bitcoin.

Guess I'll just reply to myself... yep

The spam must be really bad for a restriction like this to be necessary. If I'd known about the newbie rules I would have started this hours ago. Been reading about bitcoins for hours, now I have to do 4 more...
