In these mining pool, can it be extracted with GPU? And in the case of the sale of storage, the vendor at some point should guarantee 100% of the availability of this storage, that is, always connected and switched on the cluster or the machine?
Hey, The first part I didn't quite understand "In these mining pool, can it be extracted with GPU?" --> You cannot extract data with a GPU, you need the private key to find all your little pieces of data distributed among the nodes that keep the data (Storagenodes are what we call them) This part "And in the case of the sale of storage, the vendor at some point should guarantee 100% of the availability of this storage, that is, always connected and switched on the cluster or the machine?" Is clear.. --> A vendor needs to keep his machine on online almost all the time, if the machine goes offline too long he will lose the data because it will be reconstructed on another node (or nodes, no guarantee that those blocks will all be moved to the same new node). If all the data is gone he will start again as a new node and collect new blocks from other data.. The system by itself is a big cluster, all data is send to 10 different machines located as far apart as possible. That way you will not have all nodes in a same physical location which is of course not wanted in this setup. 6 of those machines can go offline before the system gets critical, but that will be very difficult to reach because the more nodes go offline the faster the data will be reconstructed somewhere else. Did I answer your question a little? If you need more info just ask

Just ask .. we post news frequently about where we are. If you would like to be part of the testing crew join us on discord and as to get added. That way you can help us test the file distribution part. But only if you know it might have a lot of bugs and might even not work right away

I found the whitepaper and saw the specs there. Glad there is a whitepaper! The whitepaper is really white))) Good to see where the direction of this coin is going. I like it!
if you do not look right then the whitepaper is white. but if you had read the rest of the homepage exactly then you will know in which direction VIOG is. To be honest we are spending our time on creating something good not on writing a fancy whitepaper that is used to steal your money. Our product will be finished before a white paper is and then there is no more need for a white paper or a whitepaper

the api support w/ awesome miner seems a little wonky..i'm only getting readouts from 1/4 of my miners using 0.8.2. Anyone else getting the same?
Yep, that is a known issue. The API often does not start since version 0.8.0. You might try to use 0.7.0 (Windows version is CUDA 9.2 only) Apologize! Please help to fix API issue ASAP. without it , could not use the miner on awesome miner. thanks It still mines correctly but you cannot see what you are making and awesome miner will restart the miner because the accepted share does not increase.. need a fix quickly

Hi, what is the distance between the heatsink's holes ? Eliot Hi Eliot! Did not measure distances and i dont have the miner available at the moment, if i pop another one open i will check. Those 8 holes on the left and the right are probably 0.1 inch apart, measure this on the photo and measure the spacing between the holes you need. They are going to be round number to 1 mm or 0.1 inch most likely. Just a thought

Hi! I am new here and would appreciate if somone could help me with my masternode. It is ENABLEDSparks-cli masternode status returns "status": "Masternode successfully started" watch ~/Sparks-cli mnsync status returns { "AssetID": 999, "AssetName": "MASTERNODE_SYNC_FINISHED", "Attempt": 0, "IsBlockchainSynced": true, "IsMasternodeListSynced": true, "IsWinnersListSynced": true, "IsSynced": true, "IsFailed": false } so everything seems fine. But sentinel ( venv/bin/python bin/sentinel.py) is getting me this error and the MN gets status EXPIRED after a couple of hours File "bin/sentinel.py", line 265, in <module> main() File "bin/sentinel.py", line 209, in main sentinel_ping(dashd) File "bin/sentinel.py", line 73, in sentinel_ping dashd.ping() File "lib/dashd.py", line 248, in ping self.rpc_command('sentinelping', config.sentinel_version) File "lib/dashd.py", line 42, in rpc_command return self.rpc_connection.__getattr__(params[0])(*params[1:]) File "/root/.Sparks/sentinel/venv/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/bitcoinrpc/authproxy.py", line 141, in __call__ raise JSONRPCException(response['error']) bitcoinrpc.authproxy.JSONRPCException: -32601: Method not found Sparks.conf looks like this rpcuser=someusername rpcpassword=somepwd rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=8818 listen=1 server=1 daemon=1 logtimestamps=1 maxconnections=256 masternode=1 externalip=EXTERNAL_IP
It seems you are missing masternodeprivkey=938yh49g4hbrg98h4rg0934htg0 in you conf file, can you check that first?

Hi!
I rented a rig so I could try mining since my GPU sucks, but I'm not geting any rewards, it only recognizes my hashrate and share. Does anybody else have the same problem?
Waiting on a fix for the coin daemon, I wouldn't mine on any pool unless it shows that it has successfully found any blocks at all (checked through the post and only 1 pool has this coin showing, it apparently has 800MH/s+ in which it should be fining a block every second and yet it hasn't mined a single block, not a great look for the pool or the coin) The pool is finding blocks all the time... People don't read this thread before they mine apparently, I will put a warning on the website All codes are reviewed and no mining pool are supported. No pool supports only CPU mining. solo mining with your wallet. OK.. should that ever change just let me know

Yes, there is still a problem the dev is working on, the blocks that are found aren't being accepted.
