1  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: October 17, 2017, 01:04:57 PM
While bitcoin has the potential to at least alleviate poverty, it cannot fully end poverty since not all people from the marginalized sector have access of the internet. Also, the most basic way of earning btc is through joining campaign signatures, which requires someone who has knowledge and who is literate enough to make constructive posts. But if they have the determination and drive to engage with it, then the quest to end poverty starts there.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is IT MY ETHERWALLET.COM safe? on: October 17, 2017, 12:33:13 PM

3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: October 17, 2017, 08:39:00 AM
I believe a penal system should operate at a moral higher level than the criminals it sanctions. I simply refuse to believe that the appropriate, state-sanctioned judgment for a murderer is to … well, murder them back. I believe that taking human life is heinous. So why would I support my government doing it? This is also why I don’t support war unless we face imminent invasion, or some sort of clear military threat.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: October 17, 2017, 08:36:36 AM
Bitcoin can't lead to corruption because bitcoin is decentralized and it can't be controlled by anyone, the bitcoin is known for being decentralized and if bitcoin lead to corruption then it means that it already broke its features and it will be a huge effect for the price and it will go down.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why People Are Not Honest. on: October 16, 2017, 07:53:12 PM
Honesty to is the key to success in fields like science and maths, and it is the key to failure in pseudosciences, social sciences and politics.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: October 16, 2017, 07:48:57 PM
When investing in a Pos currency you should not just look at the% that it offers per day / month / year. This is because otherwise you go hunting for the highest gain but then high inflation destroys the currency itself.
In the Pos currency, in my opinion, it is really important and fundamental to look at the project itself, the support team and community, the technological innovation it offers, if it is unique and different from the others.

Respecting these criteria above I believe that the best Pos currency coins today, for growth and potential, in order:

Deep Onion (Pos 10% First Year)

Xspec (Pos 5%)
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie to Altcoins on: October 16, 2017, 07:46:39 PM
you should first experience knowledge about crypto, btc or allcoin. If you do not understand it will be useless. Then my advice is not to think about anything else. All you have to do is multiply insight, and knowledge of crypto.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: October 16, 2017, 07:44:46 PM
One can argue that too many people go to college nowadays, decreasing the level and average value of the graduates.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is unpredictable job. on: October 16, 2017, 07:40:56 PM
Yes trading is very unpredictable but so is investing and just bitcoin in general. Bitcoin is very unpredictable with the price, anything can happen.
So there's risks in anything you do and you have to take them, if you are skillful then skill should outweight the luck and you should see more positive outcome then usually.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 07:39:58 PM
Some if not most of these people are, One, scared of the unknown. As we all know the unknown gets the best of all or some of us but it is just a matter of knowing what it trully is. Second, these people might have learned bitcoin from the wrong people. People who have wrong information spread the same information so one by one every person that had encounter with these people tend to know nothing good about bitcoin so they will be against it. Some of these people are the ones saying that it is a scam when it really is not. Third is that some people tend to cling on the past they just dont want to let go. They still use the traditional currency and so they dont pay attention to bitcoin.

13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 09:17:23 AM
A risk associated with hodling Bitcoin is that the process of taxation on capital gains is quite complicated. Investors need to instantly and accurately report on the capital gains and losses. Failure to comply with the reporting requirements results in fines that consequently reduce the gains or increase the losses incurred on the investment.  Sad
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the next ICO x10? on: October 16, 2017, 09:11:40 AM
I believe Tripally is a good candidate for that  Wink. Their tokens have a real meaning: 1 token = 1 day of unlimited mobile internet in a foreign country.

Right now I believe they sell their tokens at the ICO price of 60 cents.
If they will be successful in implementing their idea, which I believe they will judging from their whitepaper, you can expect the price go x10-x20.   Cool

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: October 16, 2017, 08:51:09 AM
There isn’t a significant danger to Bitcoin as even if Government or banks do decide to set up their own currency, the fact that the longest chain has more leverage apart from having a big community to support it, Bitcoin has the upper hand.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: October 15, 2017, 08:01:35 PM
While I don't believe it will completely replace paper money, I believe an equilibrium will be reached in which both are used in their own context. I think of it as the co-existence of paper mail and e-mail in our day. The equilibrium is determined by their intrinsic advantages: having something physical vs. speed and ease, and it is now shifting in favour of the usage of e-mail because of environmental considerations in the billing of companies. In the case of bitcoin vs cash, the location of the equilibrium will depend much on the government policies, especially on taxation; which is for the moment an unknown.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: October 15, 2017, 07:54:00 PM
Investing in Bitcoin is a safer option, but the growth in Altcoin is tremendous and quick. There are many Altcoin which grew around 1000% in 8 months. With such profit, risk follows. While Altcoin is riskier when compared to Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a stable growth & drop, but Altcoin growth and drop is exponential.  Wink
