1  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Is pressing the button 'Select Server Automatically' is safe? on: May 28, 2019, 09:12:13 AM
It is safe.
If the server doesn't work properly, choose a different one (note that you have to untick the 'select server automatically' option for it to work).

Also, no server was 'hacked'.

Old versions of electrum had a 'vulnerability' which allowed server to show a message.
This was exploited by quite a lot malicious server to show a faked 'update message'.

Your coins never were at risk. Never download electrum from anywhere else than https://electrum.org/.
And preferably always verify the signature before installing it.

thanks man!

Instead of copy and paste (which concerns me, because it means you have your seed stored digitally somewhere! Shocked)... did you try typing the words in one at a time? Huh

EDIT: Actually, ignore that... it doesn't seem to matter. I tried changing my resolution to 800x600 and you're right, you can't access the NEXT button.

HOWEVER, I think I accidentally found a solution for you... click the textbox resize button... and drag it up to shrink the vertical size of the textbox:

You should be able to see the tops of the NEXT button. Cheesy

thankyou so much! you helped me..

The Next button and Cancel button should be present in the bottom, below the BIP39 Passphrase checker button.

Try to maximize your screen and check back. I use coinomi rarely, but never encountered such an issue. Probably the button should be hidden in the taskbar.

its at its maximum already bro Sad and iam  using windows 7 ultimate, DEL laptop on its smallest screen... very small.. latitue 2110.. i tried scrolling down but not working Sad. help me pls.. is there any way i can see those buttons?

i also tried puttin the task bar into top location, but still the buttons didnt displayed out..  http://prntscr.com/npnt45

There are many reason "Error loading Phyton DLL" problem happen, there are 4 things you could try :
1. Run Electrum as Administrator / with Administrator privilage
2. Re-install Electrum
3. Try install KB2999226 Windows Update
4. Update Electrum to newest version (newest version is 3.3.6)

tried all options, still didnt worked.

16  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: are all severs displayed at the electrum software are safe and trusted? on: April 20, 2019, 06:07:13 AM
you didnt answer my question directly. So is the servers (ALL) are safe to use now?

As long as you're using the latest version of Electrum (3.3.4), you shouldn't be exposed to any kind of error messages sent by the server, and that would make the servers safe, yes.

thanks bro.
17  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: are all severs displayed at the electrum software are safe and trusted? on: April 20, 2019, 05:54:58 AM
The servers are not run by the devs, they are run by the community. There was an exploit where server owners could make you see an error message where they ask you to download an update which should be fixed now. Regardless, you should always double check the website you're downloading the wallet from. (Electrum.org).
