1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 04, 2017, 12:55:18 AM
Someone hijacked my account, it should have been inactive because I'm not trading so have had no reason to post anything here for the last couple of years.  They've been posting on this thread (which I used to post on) so I thought I should mention it here.  If any of you are involved in any sort of trading with whoever's been using this account then be aware that it's a scammer you've been dealing with, not me.

I wonder how they got hold of my login details?
2  Economy / Scam Accusations / My account (MickeyT2008) was recently hijacked on: December 04, 2017, 12:45:52 AM
My account (MickeyT2008) was recently hijacked, I discovered this because I started getting notification emails.  I haven't been trading for a couple of years so my account should have been inactive as I've had no reason to post anything or contact anyone.  Anything written before 2015 was by me, anything more recently wasn't.  I hope whoever did this hasn't scammed any of you.

I'm not even sure what they'd hope to gain by impersonating me anyway, I was never a big time trader, I never traded more than 400 worth of BTC and last held bitcoin when it was about $350.  (yes, obviously I wish I still had it, lol, but I don't).

The question of course is how they obtained my login details for this forum.  Anyway I've changed my password so hopefully they won't be able to log in and pretend to be me again.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 03, 2017, 08:43:18 PM
If any of you have been dealing with someone using my account then you've been dealing with the pathetic scammer who hijacked it, not me.  I haven't posted here for a couple of years but today I discovered that some loser's posting here, pretending to be me.  Posts from about 2015 and before are me.
4  Economy / Services / Re: [SIG] DIMPAY ICO Signature Campaign [RE-OPENED] [RULES CHANGED] on: December 03, 2017, 05:36:51 PM
Hacking my account is not appreciated.  I haven't posted here for at least two years so anything posted in my name is by a scammer

That's not my damn profile pic either so that can go too.

I've changed my password.  Any trades offered in my name recently are by a scammer trying to rip you off
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto marketcap is now more than 13% of cash in circulation on: December 02, 2017, 10:43:14 PM
Probably it is a bubble, we dont know that, by the same way that we dont know if it is really "going" to explode at some point. We all are still making money from this, why would you like to see it crashing again?

And do you really think that 13% is nothing? We are very near to replace the real fiat, a lot of people are investing in cryptos, and that is a huge step for everybody who is really interested in the blockchain.

Once that it really replaces it, bitcoin will explode for sure, but we dont know if it is going to happen.

Bitcoin is like an old box, we dont know what is going to happen (just by the same way that you do not know what is going to be inside of an old box)

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Govt asking Coinbase to share customer's acts detail - is it the beginning? on: December 02, 2017, 09:56:57 PM
it has already been posted in here, but you should know that they are not asking for those who have been moving more than $20k during the last time, they are only trying to find and get the id's from those who were moving more than $20k on 2015.

they are only trying to do it because they know that bitcoin was more than 20 times lower during 2015.

Just make those maths; $20,000 x 20= It is more than $400,000.

That is why they want to get as much information as possible about them.

7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the good way to buy bitcoin and altcoins using cash? on: December 02, 2017, 09:43:23 PM
Just use localbitcoins, that is the most safest way that you could just buy some bitcoins, because you do not have to provide your ID in order to buy some.

I have been doing this to buy/sell most part of my bitcoins, and i have never had any problems so far.

And the support from localbitcoins is always replying to my emails, so yes, probably that is the best way to buy bitcoins if you want to use cash (and by p2p of course)

I DIDN'T WRITE ANY OF THIS.  (It's the scammer who hijacked my account)

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Einsteinium (EMC2) Fork on: December 02, 2017, 09:27:54 PM
Yes this is going up as a crazy way, it was less than $0,20 a few weeks ago, and it was just $0,48 on the last wednesday.. I was going to buy some, but i dont know why, but i felt that it was going to crash soon.

It has always been a good project, and i have always feel a little bit attracted to this one, specially because they are a serious project, not a crappy one.

But i dont know, the price increased a lot and that is the only reason of why i am afraid of buying just know, maybe it is one of the last ATM that it is going to touch forever.

9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase. REDUCE YOUR FEES !!! on: December 02, 2017, 08:54:33 PM
20 pounds a week, do you know how many bitcoins are? It is less than 0.0018 a week, and if you are going to buy bi-weekly or once per month, it is not even worth it.

The best thing that you can do, is just wait a month, and get $100 - $150, and then use that money to buy some bitcoins, it is not a huge amount of money, but, it is something at all..

And try to get your bitcoins out of coinbase, they had a lot of issues during this week, and their wallet has been offline for more than 12 hours during Tuesday and Wednesday.
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to be a bitcointalk campaign manager? on: December 02, 2017, 08:40:41 PM
If you are not even able to make your own research, how do you think that you are going to be a real manager?

You are saying exactly the opposite of what you are trying to be. If you want to be a manger, then why dont you try to navegate through the "services" board of this forum?

No one is going to hire you if you dont even know how to search. Being a manager in cryptos and in here, is not the same as being a manager of real people, because you can control them easily on your dayjob.

Anyway, good luck, but i dont think that you are going to have success with this job.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Siacoin on: December 02, 2017, 08:25:13 PM
Well those who bought siacoin when it was less than 200 satoshis (in August) are the real lucky ones.
It is going up so fast, but it has been always fluctuating in $0.005 & $0.006. I dont know what is going to be of this coin in a few weeks/months from now. but Storj is much more better than Sia.

And i still remember those threads in where a lot of people were saying that Sia was better than Storj, now they can see by theirselves that they were completely wrong, lmao.

Storj did more than 70% in just a month.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: This graphic was posted 3 years ago and predicted the $10,000 date on: November 30, 2017, 10:09:07 PM
And it says that the price was over $4,300 by the beggining of this year, and it is fake, because it was less than $800 when the year started.

Anyway, it is fine, we are not looking for accurate speculations, because they dont exist, and if someone tells you that they are 100% sure about the price in just a few months, they are lying.

But do you really think that we are going to see a price over 100 thousand dollars? i see it very difficult, who knows if all the big whales are going to sell out at 50k? we can not speculate over that.

if they decide to do so, then the price is obviously going to crash.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how can i sell a physical bitcoin on: November 30, 2017, 09:51:47 PM
It depends on how is the coin, you can create a thread on the collection board of this forum, there is a lot of people placing bids in order to get some coins.

And a lot of people are winning those contest with a very low price, if you are going to publish one, you need to post some proofs, because i see that you are new in here, so nobody is going to trust in you.

And is it of Gold / Silver? if it has been bulit with one of those metals then i think that you are going to sell it fast.

Good luck.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Around 4 Million Bitcoins lost forever!! on: November 26, 2017, 07:00:48 PM
Wow, but the current supply is in there, maybe those miners or whatever they are still have their bitcoins on their wallet, so it is not making any difference because their balance is still going up day by day.

The max supply would be at 21million forever, and it would not change. When someone die, the balance will be in there forever, there is no way to change that, and it does not affect the market.

Maybe there are less bitcoins moving around, but they are still holding them in there, but nobody knows what really happened to those wallets, maybe they are locked
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LSK Short term predictions? on: November 26, 2017, 05:32:48 PM
Dont dump them, lisk is a very good coin and the chances to see it going down are just zero.
It will obviously go up, but it will take some time, it is obvious that lisk was just pumped by a pump&dump group, and there is nothing new with that.

But in the long term, it will go up again, and i know that lisk is one of the best altcoins that the market has, probably it will be over $20 by the next year (Q3 of 2018)
So dont sell them if you still believe on it, dont pay attention to those jealous people.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will there be correction? on: November 26, 2017, 05:10:55 PM
It had a bearish time during the last few days, i dont see any reason to see it going down again, and you should know that it is going up so fast at the moment.

maybe it will be touching more than $12k by the end of the year, i dont know, nobody can predict it at the moment because the price is super weird right now.
but i dont think that there is going to be a new correction, but if there is one, it would not fall for more than $500 or $1000, and honestly, $9300 is super high, i would not mind if the price goes back to $8000.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Tax? on: November 26, 2017, 04:55:35 PM
Yes, it just depends on your country, and of course, if you dont want to avoid taxes.
If you are on the US, dont even think about avoiding to pay those taxes, because you are going to go jail if you are catched up, it is a very difficult country to try to avoid taxes, lol.

in the UK you have to pay more than 20% of your earned amount with bitcoins and all the other cryptos.

Here in my country they are going to create a new law that says that you can just put all your crypto earnings in your bank, but you have to pay 15% of your total earned money, if you dont, you are going to go jail.

It only depends on your country and in your laws.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TenX to the moon! on: November 26, 2017, 04:38:05 PM
TenX is now on coinmarketcap, and it is between the biggest altcoins on the top #70 of coinmarketcap, it will keep going up for a while, probably it will be touching more than five dollars each one of them in a few days.

may i ask you at which price did you bought them on the ICO? I dont know because i have not invested in there before, but now i am feeling tempted to invest because i like their project.

But those who bought on the pre-ico are the really lucky ones, let's see how much it can grow on the following days, tenx is one of the most succesfull ico's, because they raised much more money than the other altcoins that are now on the top #30.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Where Will The Digital Economy Take Us? on: November 26, 2017, 04:22:12 PM
We dont even know what is going to happen tomorrow, and you want us to tell you when bitcoin and digital currencies like bitcoin are going to take over all the system?

It is impossible, maybe not at this moment, but we all are going to see a huge advance about money and how does it works in a few months from now, or maybe in years.

But yes, the whole system is changing right now, and a lot of banks are now addapting themselves to bitcoin and all the other cryptocurrencies, because it is needed.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on the stock exchange? on: November 26, 2017, 04:06:21 PM
Are you blind, or what? Everybody knows that bitcoin would be listed on the Chicago Stock Exchange by next month.

What's so special about the Chicago Stock Exchange?

Please, dont create this kind of threads anymore, it has already been discussed a lot of times in this forum and all the threads are saying the same.

But it is obvious that bitcoin will go up by a lot of money if they decide to finally open their doors to bitcoin on december, but it will make bitcoin be so manipulable by all those greedy traders from wall's street.

It is a good thing at all, but it has some bad things too, we have to think about both sides too.
