5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ERC20 tokens tipping bot for telegram ? on: March 01, 2020, 12:45:56 AM
I have seen some telegram tip bot, but those are not available for all kind of ERC20 tokens. You have to get accepted by that tip bot's developers, otherwise, you won't be able to use that bot in your group. Personally, I love the Parachute tip bot, it's easy and super fast and the team is very active to help the community. Right now almost 20 altcoins are listed on that bot, so, you can tip your community by those 20 major coins from the crypto market. If you want to have a look at that Parachute tip bot, just search on google or in telegram. Good Luck.

Thanks for your answer ! However if Parjar is cool it's closed sources (to my knowledge) and can't be tweaked the way we want. Crazy that there's not a single one on Github while there is dozens of them for Discord.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Good ERC20 tokens tipping bot for telegram ? on: February 29, 2020, 04:28:09 PM
Not sure if it's the right place to ask. I'm looking for an open source Telegram tipbot that can handle ETH + ERC20 tokens. Surprisingly I found a lot of those for Discord but none for Telegram. Any ideas ?

This honestly look like a straight scam. A loan on Bitcointalk ? C'mon. Who are you again ? Do you have anything that we could use to build trust before we move any further ?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SEM] Semux - Official Thread on: February 01, 2020, 10:38:08 AM

I think we need to focus on getting partnerships, from the memo Semux left behind talking about the roadmap. I do not see anything about the future partnership, if we keep improving the system but we do not have any goal to achieve for adoption. I do not think the demand will increase, we need to figure out what is our target.
Any idea what is our target for real use case?

How they can get adoption if this is a copy of Ethereum? At the beginning this had to be written on Java as I remember, but now its fully copied of Ethereum  Huh

Semux is not a copy of ethereum.

Semux is a novel blockchain written from scratch in Java and it utilizes BTF consensus, with 1 confirmation transaction finality and with high transaction throughput. Blocks are produced by 100 validator nodes, some are public operating as a pool and distributing rewards to addresses that voted for them with their SEM.

On top of this Semux has smart contracts - Semux Virtual Machine compatible with Ethereum Solidty language.

https://www.semux.org/#whatIsSemux
https://github.com/semuxproject/semux-core/tree/master/docs

https://github.com/semuxproject/semux-core/blob/master/docs/Semux-BFT-Consensus.md
https://github.com/semuxproject/semux-core/blob/master/docs/Delegates-and-Validators.md
https://github.com/semuxproject/semux-core/blob/master/docs/Semux-Virtual-Machine.md

Semus doesn't have a high tps. It's slow. Algorand (which is live), ETH 2.0 (which isn't yet) or Thundercore (which is live) are 1000 times faster than Semux. In addition to this, any BFT consensus is fairly centralized and use 33 to 100 nodes while the above are completely decentralized. The only thing Semux has is its community aproach, which is good, but might not be enough to attract builders. The team need and the community need to face this if you guys want to succeed.

I'm not here to fud you, I was a part of the testnet, and used to like the project. But marketing this with "high tps" or "super BFT" is far from being honest for newcomers. When ETH 2.0 will be live it'll be thousands times faster than  Semux and with an immense developers base it'll simply crush every other so called "self contract eth compatible platform" project.

You need to find another narrative. Fast.

(oh and no, having your client being written in JAVA isn't groundbreaking)

Why don't you use BTC or ETH for this ? It's doable on these chains and infinitely more secure.

SCAM SCAM SCAM AND MORE SCAM

Dude it's a scam and everyone knows it
Jack being behind it, is the biggest joke i've ever seen.
Zenon in the space ?? WTF.. you are added on scam exchange only! You are such a joke!
Zapp not dapp, that's even a bigger joke
Elon being behind zenon, WOW when will you guy going to STOP LYING??

SCAM SCAM SCAM AND MORE SCAM

A secret team working on it.. and they haven't done anything.
They have a shitty wallet that doesn't even work.
Where are the dapps or zapp? none.
This has to be the worst scam coin ever.

If you think it's a scam, then bring us solid direct proofs instead of using bold fonts. It'd be way more useful and enlight my days. I insist on the solid and direct proofs. If you can't do this, then you're just some noise.

This is an important issue. I wish the Mt.GOX incident had not happened. The market constantly felt the threat of it. Prices are starting to go up. There's a rumor about MT.GOX. Then everything starts to go bad. I still miss mining.

Then mine again.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btcrecover for your usual password... with a typo. on: December 18, 2019, 07:17:53 PM
Hey guys.

I recently did something stupid with my fat chubby fingers. I have a small BTC wallet with not that much in it but still, I wanted to encrypt it as I feel safer that way.

And so I did. With my usual password.

But it seems that I made a mistake (twice !) by typing it and now I'm looking to a way to configure the btcrecover token file for making it work when:

1: you know the password
2: but you made a typo, misswrote a part of it, inverted two letter / numbers. This kind of mistake.

If not possible, do you know a GPU accelerated tool that could work that way? I found Bitcoin password recovery tool by Thegrideon Software but I don't know if that's good or not.

This also is an interesting event to be used to learn a bit more. The amount isn't that big, but the challenge is interesting.

Thanks.

Hello,

1. what type of wallet is it, bitcoin core, electrum etc.
2. Download John the ripper lib from Github and use python and correct wallet converter like blockchain2john.py or  tools to generate hash
Download link:    https://github.com/magnumripper/JohnTheRipper
3. My first choice would be hashcat, as it supports many formats an has great support, download from hashcat.net
or Github: https://github.com/hashcat/hashcat
4. Create a password list, add rules and run overnight, it should find it.

If you need help with John the ripper or Hashcat they have their own boards with support

good luck
/KX

Thanks, will give a try to Hashcat too.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btcrecover for your usual password... with a typo. on: December 18, 2019, 06:50:17 PM
Thanks you for your replies guys. I just got a chance to tweak with BTCrecover and the tokens + typos maps and this could well be the wat to go, since I know what the password should have been.

I will give it a good shot and if that works I'm planning to write a tutorial for the ones who endup in my situation. That could be helpful as the UX isn't that easy to deal with with those powerful tools.

My only concern now is the poor way btcrecover performs with OpenCL on nVidia solutions.
