561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: October 27, 2020, 01:48:08 PM
I don't need any signal provider.

And if there's one strategy that I will be used in trading, I'll stay with the common style through trading alone with my control. It's very effective on my end and I don't have to follow any other's advice although I listen and collect information that I see which will make the market possibly moved.

Copy trading is popular in etoro but I've heard that this isn't that effective, in the long term somehow it is but not for me.

Well we have our own kind of style and strategic plan when it comes to trading. We develop those skills and techniques while we are on our way in trading, realisations of what we should do, or when we were going to trade. I guess what have been emphasized by this thread was a sole experience in trading of our co member sharing its experiences, its realisation about its own trading experience. It was all depend upon us if we will adopt  those.

As I trade, I keep on learning and learning even if I made mistakes because that's what keeps me on doing better day by day.

We have different skills, strategies, and discipline so we need to work on it no matter what happens if we really want to grow our assets in the market.

Technical Analysis is what really helped me a lot whenever I trade because it gives me a lot of sign when to trade depending on the market situation. Sometimes you need to look for something that will enhance your effectiveness in trading, especially that cryptocurrencies are volatile in the market.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: October 27, 2020, 07:04:01 AM
* funding terrorist,
* money laundering,
*kidnap for ransom using bitcoin, and etc,
Bitcoin has always been pointed out to have used ONLY for these criminal acts.

What do you say about fiat? is it an exception for these activities were in fact even bitcoin was launched, these acts have been always there. And they were funded and made done through fiat/cash.

Bitcoin is money and the same as fiat could be used for good and bad. Let's remove this idea that bitcoin was only made solely for these acts.

No matter what you said about bitcoin, Fiat is still the most used currency in criminal acts that are recorded in history. It is much more used by criminals, hackers, and scammers especially that it is the most used in many transactions compared to bitcoin that only circulates in a digital world. Bitcoin can be also used in a criminal act but it is much lesser compared to fiat that can happen in any places and circumstances.

Right now, bitcoin is already used in a lot of aspects and it can be used for economic growth, but a lot of people are using it in a wrong way.
563  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Situation :( on: October 26, 2020, 04:45:12 PM
Still, not a reason to give up and considered life as worst.

We have to adjust as always. Learn to adapt to what's currently happening.

The world will not end with these problems and speculations. We have to move forward.

Problems are infinite and so solutions to it, there are plenty of things that we need to focus on and worked for.

No matter the situation, we should only look for the brighter side and find peace and answer to it. We don't really deserve poverty, we don't deserve famine amidst this crisis. Let's accept the fact that life is so unfair and only rich people can feed themselves during this pandemic but in order to overcome this, we need to stay still, adapt, and adjust depending on the circumstances.
564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, the complete version of money on: October 26, 2020, 08:38:45 AM
Safety is a top priority in dealing with bitcoin, keeping your bitcoin safe should be one of the things you need to do when dealing bitcoin and hardware wallets are the safest.
That is the issue people are facing while dealing with bitcoin, normally bitcoin is safe but people are ignorant and makes it not safe for themsleves because they ignorantly giving ways to hackers. But, if security are put in place and people avoiding hack, it will be difficult for hackers to get through. Also, some people are making use of services that are not suitable for protection, like using exchanges and custodial means, some people will give KYC to these services which can also lead to data breaches aside stealing of cryptocurrencies from such platforms. If people can use bitcoin ideally, by havimg their private key and also securimg their bitcoin, and bitcoin wallet will be good.

That's also the reason why bitcoin is not that achieving a fast mass adoption due to some rumors that bitcoin is a scam. They should know that bitcoin is safe once used and managed properly, and its safety depends on the holder. Keeping or storing your bitcoin in the right place and proper wallet will make you comfortable in handling it so it is your own decision if you will not help hackers to steal your coin. Always secure your bitcoin so that you will not regret anything from losing it. Bitcoin is not yet fully develop as a currency to replace fiat and become a complete version of money, but it has a lot of potential to become the best digital currency.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking Bitcoin is Scam on: October 26, 2020, 07:53:10 AM
As we know as a crypto Community most of people's think that a Bitcoin (any crypto currency) is illegal and scam. But Now Paypal officially integrated inbuilt features to buy/sell Bitcoin , Etherium , USDT and etc. So It is a great slap to the mostly people who think Crypto is illegal. Now they understand the power of crpyto in upcoming less than 2 years and it will change whole market , the early adopters will take great benefit.

Only those people who doesn't believe and doesn't know about bitcoin can say that bitcoin is scam. Bitcoin is already more than ten years of existence and it was use not only as investment but also as payments methods. A lot of development in bitcoin had already done and there are already Bitcoin ATM in other places. It was very useful in many ways and it will become an alternative source of income during the pandemic. How could you say that it was a scam? Just learn more about bitcoin and tell to others what you have learned.

Ignorance towards bitcoin can lead to that kind of mindset. They are thinking that bitcoin is a scam because they don't know how it really works.

Adoption is an evidence that bitcoin is not a scam.

Although we are really slow in achieving it, at least there are improvements.

Bitcoin is really profitable once you study and learn how to manipulate it in the market. It is an alternative investment when you already using fiat currency. Bitcoin is only a scam if bad people use it in their schemes and destroy the reputation of bitcoin in every crimes that they do.
566  Economy / Economics / Re: Show me shops where i can spend crypto ...crypto is useless... on: October 25, 2020, 11:09:04 AM
Crypto is never useless during this times that we already achieved some mass adoption for almost 10 years.

If you think that cryptocurrency is useless, try to make it much beneficial in your own way. Do it yourself, don't give up on cryptocurrency just because it has only a limited features that you can use to it. We just need to wait for a global adoption to see the full potential of bitcoin to become the most quality asset during our times. Before, cryptocurrency can't be really used in a transaction due to its unknown importance and value in the market.
567  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal to allow cryptocurrency buying, selling and shopping on its network on: October 25, 2020, 10:38:42 AM
Paypal better have something unique to offer to get ahead of the game in my opinion. Does not matter whether you joined the cryptocurrency train, if you are just another platform that offer the same services, time will come for you eventually. I have my hopes on Paypal that they will do something because as OP said, the race is on. You need to use what you can to get ahead of the game.

At least, they already adopted bitcoin in their platform which is uncommon to most of the popular online payments system in the world. But innovation should be their priority and uniqueness so that they can become more advance compared to other platforms. Because for me, engaging in a cryptocurrency is not new because we all know that adoption of bitcoin is really growing nowadays, although it is slow, at least there is a movement and improvement. We just need to wait for more updates regarding Paypal approaching and engaging into a cryptocurrency industry.
568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more important bitcoin or fiat? on: October 25, 2020, 10:08:09 AM
We need to accept that fact that most of the businesses are regulated by fiat currency and not bitcoin.

Bitcoin is an option if you want to invest on a digital currency, it can somehow impact your businesses and investment depending on your manipulation.

I suggest you to try to invest in both because there's a lot of opportunity in there that you might get. The importance of this two will be determined by experience.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slow adoption and decentralized nature of bitcoin on: October 25, 2020, 09:35:42 AM
People must know how Bitcoin works in order to trust Bitcoin enough to start using it in their daily lives.

But courage is what the people should have, they are not that confident enough in believing that bitcoin can change their lives.

That's the reason why bitcoin has a slow adoption, also that it is not yet in the mainstream can affect its popularity to most of the people who are not that familiar to it.

Maybe, it really lack of promotion and advertisement in the public due to its decentralized nature. They think that is much hassle to own an asset that is away from the authorities and is self-manipulated. But what can we do, if that's the nature of bitcoin, a lowkey cryptocurrency that is really worth it to invest.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this is the start of mass adoption in Bitcoin? or Nah? on: October 23, 2020, 03:25:27 PM
Paypal is a famous online payments system which really become popular around the world.

I think in that aspect alone, paypal will really help the mass adoption of bitcoin in that feature. Hoping that not only Paypal will engage into this kind of development and adoption. There are a lot of local platforms that should adopt these kind of changes in their features and system because bitcoin is complex and flexible in a way that it can really help a lot of businesses to grow.
571  Other / Meta / Re: Where is my merits? on: October 23, 2020, 02:26:34 PM
Predicitng the price correctly doesn't necessarily means guaranted merits. However, I would love to see if you have some valid explanations of your predictions or not. If I find them logical (not possible as current pump is based on paypal into crypto I think), I will share some merits.

There are a lot of user here that do have the same mindset just like him.

They are very confident that if they made a good post, that's an automatic merit which is wrong.

Merits are not that easy to earn especially if you think that way because in order to be deserving in that, you should make a post which is really informative, logical, and beneficial to everyone here in this forum. I think you just need to prove something more, you need to work harder here in this forum.
572  Economy / Economics / Re: Waiters/Waitresses/bellboys etc just lost their jobs on: October 23, 2020, 01:49:54 PM
Unfortunately this is how the civilization works.New technology replaces human labor.People, who work in low and minimum wage jobs and are performing repetitive tasks are pretty much screwed.
However,I don't believe that this Spot Robot will be mass adopted by the small businesses anytime soon.

That's the reason why people are afraid of immediate advancement of technology due to that kind of issue.

Unemployment can really increase when we engage into a more advance and developed industry with the use of innovated machines and robots.

But we need to accept the fact that there is always changes when there's a time. We need to accept that our community should adapt on the things where it can make our lives easier and better with the use of technology. Human labor is also important but what can we do if we need to adapt in that kind of technology to help our economy grow better, especially in terms of production.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is unique to man. on: October 22, 2020, 06:25:13 PM
Bitcoin has a lot of importance to a man and to the society.

This not only a currency, this is also a potential key to success and development in terms of economy.

That's the reason why there are people who are not still trusting bitcoin because of lack of adoption and promotion. Bitcoin can really make a man grow in terms of handling investments and businesses because it can be a good source of profit when you manipulate it properly in the market. Bitcoin is unique to a man in a way that this asset is in a digital form and is easy to store in a digital wallet.
574  Economy / Economics / Re: Crisis will be new normal but its not bad on: October 22, 2020, 01:30:13 PM

The Fiat currencies are so great that Elite Don't have really Plan to kill Fiat currencies.

Im sure the Trump and Elite like the World how it is.

I don't accept it that Trump or whatever leader in the world and their elites has power to change the world. They can make policies but depends on the people to follow the policies. Power belongs to the people, therefore it is the people that have power to cause such global change. Most countries are now practicing democracy which is simply the government of the will of the people.

Power belongs to the people, check most revolution that caused change and removing of government are people oriented. From the recent succession in Africa to the times in the past in Asia, Europe etc.

Trump focuses on himself only, he don't care about the majority that are seeking help amidst this pandemic.

I don't think that the new normal will help most of the people in their needs to sustain their lives. The power that the Trump have is used in a wrong way, we all know that he is racist and he us only focused about his own advocacy, which is pro-white people. US should have the proper democracy that they deserve so that Trump can really make America great again in the eyes of his people.
575  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 21, 2020, 10:25:33 AM
I think we're all not ready for this, how can we continue and reopen those businesses if we are still in a pandemic?

If the government do not have any plan besides going in a new normal again and doesn't think about the possibilities that might happen, probably we will make this Covid-19 pandemic to become worse. I'm not against the reopening of businesses for the sake of the economic stability but we should consider other factors such as transportation and people who can violate the laws.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What asset would you HODL for the next 5 years?? on: October 21, 2020, 09:14:55 AM
5 years is long time we dont what going to be happpend then not sure !!

There are a lot of things that might happen in that 5 years run because there are assets that are very volatile just like bitcoin.

Being straightforward, Gold is much safer compared to bitcoin because gold is for a long term investments while bitcoin is for a short-term investments.

You need to make a lot of transactions with bitcoin when its price increases, you need to monitor the market to make bitcoin profitable. While in Gold, you just need patience, and wait for its price to increase as you wait for much longer time. It depends on you on which one will you choose, there are also other coins that can serve as an alternative coin to bitcoin.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We don't do it in Bitcoin! on: October 21, 2020, 08:29:47 AM
"Plane passenger caught smuggling gold nuggets in rectum to avoid taxes." - nypost.com
Quote
Indian airport authorities literally struck gold when they spotted a man walking oddly — and discovered he had about 2 pounds in bullion shoved into his rectum, according to a report.

This is really disgusting when I first saw the headline of this news. Honestly, it's my first time to hear a news like this, since I thought I this is only happened in movies (some of in the movies are illegal drugs) or some happened in real but not gold.

Recently, this news became a little trend everywhere where they compare Bitcoin with Gold on this kind of situation, we all know Bitcoin is intangible, where it is not a physical. Since when you do it on Bitcoin, you don't need some physical things to shoved in your rectum or in any of your body.

What can you say about this?

The only similarity between gold and bitcoin is that they are both good as an asset for investments.

But we all know that bitcoin can be stored in a digital wallet which is much safer and easier to carry compared to gold that is tangible and can be carried in a different way. Bitcoin will never be placed in a rectum just like what the man did to gold because we have different crypto wallet that we must use to store bitcoin safely and less hassle.

Any device will do to help you access your bitcoin so this situation will never happen to those bitcoin users because gold is gold and bitcoin is bitcoin.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's IP address found on: October 20, 2020, 06:15:35 PM
It seems real, but still highly debateable. And given that the address is on Tor makes it difficult to trace, since the original request was jumped to multiple relays before reaching the receiver of the email. All the data sent and received in the network is protected with multiple layers of encryption, and cracking through all of them just to know which IP it originated seems impossible.

cracking all of it NOW will only reveal the relay peers of .. guess.. NOW
they dont hold logs of 11 years ago.. so it isnt 'seems impossible' .. but 'definetly impossible'
Not is it just impossible, even if it was possible why would anyone want to? The man obviously wants/wanted to be left alone, so people want to ignore his wishes and make him some sort of celebrity? I don't get this, I understand curiosity but this would be actively going against the wishes of someone most people admire and respect.

Don't push yourself to hardly find someone that doesn't want to be found.

That's why Satoshi made himself anonymous or a mystery because he wants bitcoin to grow without even making people know his identity.

Instead, we should focus on bitcoin's growth and its importance because if we look for the true identity of Satoshi, we will just waste our time to find the truth. There are already a lot of people who are claiming to be Satoshi for the sake of fame, credits and money, so it is hard to believe someone or a certain article these days.
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin lose its value? on: October 20, 2020, 04:04:58 PM
Bitcoin is not pegged to the USD, it is only prices against it, it can equally be priced against other fiat assets, gold as well as other cryptocurrencies. This means that a decrease in the value of one currency would lead to a increase in Bitcoin's value when prices against it, this becomes clearer when we consider that Bitcoin has surpassed its recent all time high, against several currencies which has suffered huge inflation.
So you say bitcoin rose due to inflation in other surrencies?

What exactly do you mean by this question?

The value of currencies deflate. That means they decrease in worth and purchasing power. As a result, what is inflating are the prices of the goods and services.

If the currencies are losing value, that would mean Bitcoin becomes expensive. Or it could be the other way around, Bitcoin becomes expensive because the currency is getting weak.

It is probably depends on the bitcoin and the value of any other currencies.

Inflation occurs depending on how different governments handle it and make their economy firm and stable. Don't think that bitcoin is independent about its value, bitcoin can increase its value and lose its value depending on its own price and depending on the country's ability to handle its economy when crisis occurs.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin used for illegal activities on telegram on: October 20, 2020, 03:21:48 PM
What are your thoughts on this ??
How should we go about controlling this situation without hampering the freedom cryptocurrencies give users ??

( We already have so many restrictions )

If bad reputations are still increasing due to these illegal activities in a social media platforms then probably those restrictions are not enough.

Maybe, we are lacking some features and it is really hard to control other people on using a certain platform the way they want.

A more specific regulations and prohibitions should be implemented so that authorities will not really affect the freedom of using cryptocurrency the way the users want. It is not that good if we keep on making illegal activities happen and operate in a certain platform. Also, transactions should undergo a lot of process for security and safety purposes within the platform.
