121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: April 16, 2018, 03:13:50 PM
I have been looking into some of these crashes like the one from january this year. The buyers dried up.I never said it would necessarily be good for it to hit that mark but its not impossible.IMO bit coin is a bit over hyped.Don't get me wrong I love bitcoin and the like and they get most of my time. But Bitcoin is still in its infancy and has kinks that need worked out, like how excited people get over it and pump the prices. But I'm just a humble investor/analyst.I have been very wrong in the past.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will Bitcoin Rise Again? on: April 16, 2018, 03:11:12 PM
You guys are looking at the wrong time frame. Just because bitcoin hasn't moved in "OMG a month?" doesn't mean it won't move through out the year. The markets move fiscally. Extra money comes fiscally.Split the year into four quarters and think realistically.

A ton of money that went into bitcoin a month ago slowly trickled down to these alts and then created a variance in the market. The people willing to spend extra money shot these alt prices up quite high in the last few weeks. What will happen when lower income people get income tax money? What happens when people get their next quarterly fiscal bonuses?
123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks will use blockchain on: April 16, 2018, 03:08:31 PM
Honestly,if this were to scale based on the current situation, the bitcoin person would be so small that he wouldn't even take up a single pixel. It still blows my mind how widely accepted on here the belief is that bitcoin is going to 'bring down the banks'.The amount of money that would have to change hands for this to occur, and the scale and complexity of actually facilitating this is literally unfathomable.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to promote Bitcoin on: April 11, 2018, 06:28:28 PM
I think the best way to promote it is by showing people you know, who are interested in it,how a wallet works and how to send bits between wallets.Usually when people hear about Bitcoin they hear all these techy buzzwords and it's very intimidating, but once they see how easy it is to download a wallet app to their phone and get a few bits sent to it,it usually clicks much better.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: April 11, 2018, 06:20:00 PM
It will survive. It could drop to 1/1000th of the price as newer technology take over and still not be considered dead. And even as the number of bitcoins that get lost or frozen over time, eventually there will be very few coins left held by the elite. They will eventually become essentially highly coveted expensive digital collector's toys worth millions.Owning a bitcoin would be like owning gold plated lambo you keep on display that is too heavy to drive and isn't street legal.
126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: April 11, 2018, 06:18:00 PM
Bitcoin is already changing finance, are you agree? Many people are afraid that Bitcoin adoption has begun to stagnate. In many ways, this is true. What these people often don’t take into account, though,is just how much Bitcoin has already grown from its humble beginnings as an obscure, fringe subculture just 5 years ago to a near household name today.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN will be dead? on: April 11, 2018, 06:14:24 PM
The thing about the mempool,is if everyone stops using bitcoin because the fees are too high, then the fees will become cheap again. That's also why a block size increase probably wouldn't help.If we raise block size, fees get cheaper,so then way more people start sending transactions that wouldn't have before, and fees go up again.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great way to make Bitcoin! on: April 08, 2018, 05:08:15 PM
Mining, (ESPECIALLY cloud mining which is basically a rip off) is not really profitable any more for the little guys, all the big players have pretty much captured the entire process. If you want to earn Bitcoin the best way is to either work for it or simply buy it.I would start trying to meet with anyone involved with bitcoin in your area.I've made friends with a local atm owner.I now get paid to clear the machines and make deposits once or twice a week. The more you reach out and meet people, the more opportunities will present themselves!
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of bitcoin on: April 08, 2018, 05:05:35 PM
I personally love the idea of Bitcoin, but it will never really be adopted by the masses until many many things are worked out.I've seen it go from $800 per Bitcoin to 16,000 per Bitcoin. That might be great for investors but as an average Joe looking to purchase a cup of coffee,I'd be pissed if I realized I paid 200 for that cup of coffee because of speculation.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If people stop buying bitcoin on: April 05, 2018, 05:35:41 PM
I bought my first btc in 2013 at the ath 600 USD.I almost sold all but decided to just forget about it.In 2017 it made me a very happy person. Imagine how strong the FUD was back then when it was worth little and was only used on the dark net.At least today you have hodl support.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you Still believe in Bitcoin? on: April 05, 2018, 05:29:47 PM
I want freedom.Having some of my wealth in bitcoin is a little bit of freedom. It’s a new asset class that maybe the medium of change for international commerce. Many shitcoin will fail.Someone will figure out a use case for some of the coins/protocols.I don’t know who the winners will be,but I think their is value in decentralized censorship resistant bitcoin.
132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: April 05, 2018, 05:26:08 PM
This is the future.I too own an online shop that accepts crypto.Shopify merchant services (for credit card processing) has understandbly abandoned us because we are a smoke shop so we've been taking crypto payments via Coinbase Commerce.Just waiting on the ability to withdraw though I'm not really in a rush for tax reasons.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Crypto end? on: April 04, 2018, 07:09:36 PM
I guess we'll see.Could be a blip, but it looks like its trying to recover, instead of rolling down a slick hill.It wouldn't surprise me if I wake up (in about six hours) to a sea of green. So if anyone was trying to time the market before prices start rising, they may want to watch intently for the next few hours.
134  Other / Off-topic / Re: Solution to overcome panic on: March 29, 2018, 09:03:48 AM
Things are going down because the rich are selling. They want to expose other weak hands so they can buy back even lower, in higher quantity. This shit is gonna pop off, just hold.I just hate holding and seeing NEO go up more when I want more NEO,but I am not trying to trade other coins of value for 6/7 bucks. When they will be 30/40 in a few months.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Mining vs Buying on: March 29, 2018, 08:52:19 AM
There's a lot of opportunities when it comes to cryptocurrencies and bitcoin more specifically.I particularly like the idea of passive income, and ways to grow your money.I recently joined a Bitcoin mining coop, which gives returns of 1% per day over 140 days. This means that you get 140% of the amount you put in,but this amount also increases with the value of bitcoin increasing!
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now - should or not? on: March 28, 2018, 07:52:09 AM
Back when $800 for bitcoin was a big thing there were predictions it would go to $25,000 given the precarious debt of all the world's governments.I laughed at those predictions as ridiculous, but the fact that it has passed $10,000 and climbing makes me think it could easily do it.As it goes mainstream it will only continue to gain traction with more and more people.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: March 28, 2018, 05:09:56 AM
Fake news became an easy way to oversimplify lack of journalistic integrity. There is a small issue with fabricated news stories that are 100% fiction and made purely to generate web traffic for profit. There is a huge problem with "legitimate" news sources dropping any sort of standards in their reporting, often leading to mistakes that are now being labeled as "fake news."

138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 countries that banned bitcoin on: March 28, 2018, 05:07:29 AM
If an invention like Bitcoin doubles the capability of the members of a government to make personal profits, and triples the ability of that government to collect taxes, and banning it would allow all the other countries to get ahead of them in the world markets, why would any government even entertain the concept of a ban?
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Really End World Poverty? on: March 26, 2018, 08:57:36 AM
At this point you are just dreaming. There is absolutely zero indication fiat is going to be dropped soon because it is so easy to manipulate. How do you expect people to govern digital currency when so many people still barely can work or even have access to a computer or have basic skills to secure their own money.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: March 26, 2018, 08:56:03 AM
Sadly I think we're set upon by traders. Most people care only about the price of bitcoin. Most people assume everyone wants to "get out" and back into fiat.I'm not going back into fiat if I can help it.Agree or disagree with me, that's okay either way. But if you don't understand it,you don't understand why we have Bitcoin
